We just hosted our daughter's wedding reception at Giracci Vineyards this past July and it was absolutely magical! Our guests keep raving about how it was the most beautiful reception that they have ever attended. Most importantly, our daughter and son-in-law stated it was the wedding of their dreams! Giracci is located in Silverado in the beautiful foothills of the mountains. It has huge gorgeous mature oak trees (i think that is what they are) which are wrapped in fairy lights. For the venue fee, we were able to pick 2 of their 4 locations to host our reception. All 4 (3 are outdoor and 1 indoor) are spectacular choices. We went with the fountain area that has a raised stage (perfect for the band) for the cocktail reception/dancing and the grassy area with big oak tree next to it for the dinner. These locations are close to one another and also close to the bathrooms for the guests. Our contact at Giracci was Linda who was so easy to work with from the beginning. The entire process to view and book the venue was easy. We came twice to view the venue before finalizing our decision. We never felt pressured. They provided suggested vendors as well but worked with us in certain areas where we had some preferences. At the final meeting on premises with the various vendors, it was evident that Linda was very knowledgable on all aspects and worked well with our vendors. She had great suggestions and ideas for how to keep the budget in line. If you plan on serving wine at your event, all wine must be purchased from Giracci. Our family are big wine drinkers and have our preferences. While at first we were a little skeptical, let me assure you their wines are WONDERFUL! Seriously, there wasn't a dud in their offerings. In fact, we are now Giracci wine club members which I highly recommend. The time of year we chose for the reception was perfect. The flowers at Giracci were in full bloom and just stunning. The venue is so beautiful that we really didn't have to kill the budget with additional decor other than flowers/votives for all the tables and 3 crystal chandeliers with some white draping in the big oak tree where dinner was served. At the time of this review, we don't have the pictures back from the photographer or I would attach them. Everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. I can't stress enough how thrilled we are that we chose Giracci Vineyards for our daughter's wedding reception. Weddings are a very expensive investment here in Orange County and we felt that choosing Giracci Vineyards was perfect choice. My only regret is that it all went by too fast!

As a wedding planner, I’ve had the pleasure of working at many venues—but The Swanner House truly stands out as a hidden gem. From the moment I arrived, Michelle and Natalie were not only warm and welcoming, but incredibly organized and professional. Communication was seamless from start to finish, which made my job that much easier and allowed the day to run flawlessly. The venue itself was immaculate—every detail was pristine, from the getting-ready spaces to the reception area. It’s clear that the staff takes immense pride in keeping the property beautiful and guest-ready at all times. What I appreciated most was how collaborative and supportive their team was throughout the entire planning process and on wedding day. On wedding day, Anne was quick to offer help, anticipate needs, and work together as true partners. It’s rare to find a venue team that values the vendor experience as much as the couple’s—but Swanner House does just that. I can’t recommend them enough and am already looking forward to the next event we get to do together!

We toured many venues looking for our perfect place, and the moment we saw the orange groves and rolling hills, we knew this place had everything we were looking for! It has the perfect balance of nature, comfort and privacy that makes this a haven! It felt like we were in a historic landmark and we got to enjoy it all to ourselves. The photos we took are lasting memories and we are so grateful!

We have looked at many of the venues in the South OC and while there was no ocean view, the location of the winery was ideal for our guests. Surrounded by many unique shops, antique stores and the lovely, Los Rios area for walking, drinking fine coffee and stepping into the past. But, the most impressive part of the event was the winery itself. Having lived near the wine country and spending a lot of time in Sonoma and Napa, found many wonderful wines. But it is always a hunt and peck at each stop. There is not one bad wine at Rancho Capistrano Winery. All are between an 8 and 10 in a range of 10. The food. The food was amazing for a wedding. I rarely get impressed with food prepared for a large group. But each and every morsel was packed with flavor and love, yes, you can taste the love. Parking is plentiful and free for five hours behind and a parking structure across the street. There is also a train station next to the venue for guests who don't want to drive. I thought that it might be loud if it came in during the ceremony, and it did but didn't disturb the wedding at all. I highly recommend Rancho Capistrano Winery for your wedding or any group event. The staff was cheerful and caring. I only heard rave reviews from family and friends.
