El Adobe exceeded our expectations for our wedding day! Sianna and Danny were invaluable in planning our perfect celebration, expertly managing everything from venue layout to guest dietary needs. They took care of us from day one: we had a delicious food tasting session, a his & her special cocktail selection session, and table/venue layout session. The bar and catering staff were exceptional, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious food. We loved using the charming Casita for preparations, which also provided a stunning backdrop for photos. El Adobe offers an unbeatable combination of quality, affordability, and attention to detail. Our wedding at Marbella was everything we dreamed of and more. From the very beginning, the staff was incredible, and the venue coordinator, Kaile, was truly a gem. She made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. On the day of our wedding, everything ran so smoothly thanks to her and the amazing team. We felt so cared for and could truly enjoy every moment without worry. The venue itself is gorgeous, but what makes it even more special is the people behind it. We are so grateful to Kaile and the staff for making our day absolutely perfect.

I cannot recommend this wedding venue highly enough! Both of my daughters held their receptions here, and each event was nothing short of spectacular. The venue itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds and elegant indoor spaces that provided the perfect backdrop for their special days. Stacey was an absolute pleasure to work with; attentive, and incredibly helpful from start to finish.

We had the best experience at the Inn. From the moment we started planning, Bahar M. and Sarah G. were incredibly professional, attentive to our requests, and flexible. They truly were able to bring our vision for our wedding day to life. Every detail was handled with care and their willingness to accommodate our ideas made the planning process smooth. Two things that stood out was the team being able to accommodate the early morning access to our Bridal suite - which me (the bride) greatly appreciated, and the flexibility in arranging the layout for the reception. We had close to 160 people for the reception so making sure there was enough space for the dance floor, easy access to the bar, dessert station, and fresh air was all super important and Sarah was very helpful in arranging all of it. The venue itself is overall stunning - we opted for minimal decorations and flowers because the venue speaks for itself. Our guests could not stop raving about the beautiful setting and the food. You can't go wrong with any of the food choices that the Inn provides. From the appetizers, to the main course, dessert station, and late night bites - all the guests enjoyed every moment of it. Overall, we felt supported throughout the entire day by the staff, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the entire day. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate - We highly recommend it to any couple. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel to celebrate our anniversaries!

The entire team at Plaza de Magdalena was amazing! The whole process was very easy, Patti was attentive and responsive throughout the entire planning process. Service team on the day of was fantastic. We loved everything about this and am so glad we made this our wedding venue.

As a wedding planner, I’ve had the pleasure of working at many venues—but The Swanner House truly stands out as a hidden gem. From the moment I arrived, Michelle and Natalie were not only warm and welcoming, but incredibly organized and professional. Communication was seamless from start to finish, which made my job that much easier and allowed the day to run flawlessly. The venue itself was immaculate—every detail was pristine, from the getting-ready spaces to the reception area. It’s clear that the staff takes immense pride in keeping the property beautiful and guest-ready at all times. What I appreciated most was how collaborative and supportive their team was throughout the entire planning process and on wedding day. On wedding day, Anne was quick to offer help, anticipate needs, and work together as true partners. It’s rare to find a venue team that values the vendor experience as much as the couple’s—but Swanner House does just that. I can’t recommend them enough and am already looking forward to the next event we get to do together!

We are so happy we got the honor of getting married in such a sacred and beautiful national shire at the Basilica in San Juan. Unlike the other outdated reviews, we had the most amazing experience with all the people working at the Mission to coordinate the wedding ceremonies. Their office staff was very responsive and accommodating to any of our wants and needs through the entire wedding process. All the musicians were so talented and made the ceremony that much more special. Our day of coordinator was fantastic! She gave us flexibility to make the Catholic ceremony (specifically the procession) just as we had envisioned and helped us do a bubble procession outside on the steps while the bells were ringing!! It was just magical!!! We really wanted our wedding ceremony to be a spiritual and sacred experience for us and all our guests and the Mission did just that. Totally worth the little bit of extra cost and effort to have such a memorable experience we will cherish throughout our life together.

The food was amazing and there was something for everyone!

Franciscan Gardens is an amazing venue! The setup is absolutely gorgeous with the greenery covering the high walls, the string lighting, the fountain, and the pergola. The food was catered by 24 Carrots and it was extremely delicious. Elizabeth, Anna, Nasime, Nicole were who I worked with and they were very communicative and easy to work with. They are clearly professionals who are experienced in this field. They were very easy to work with and were very kind when I would have to make adjustments. The location is also fabulous. It's on a walkable street so there's bars, restaurants, boutiques, etc. all within walking distance. There's also a parking lot right next to it so your guests can just park there for the wedding (I believe $2/hr or $20 for the whole day). It's a also 30 minute drive to SNA airport, and there's numerous hotels within walking distance or close driving distance - very convenient for guests. It's a very popular wedding venue, so many of the wedding vendors have previously worked with Franciscan Gardens - my vendors were all experienced with the venue and worked seamlessly with one another. It is on a busy street and near the train tracks so just be aware of that. They also just renovated the bridal suite and it is SO gorgeous. It looks amazing for the getting ready photos. In terms of pricing - I feel like it's pretty comparable to other OC venues. I felt that the base pricing is very reasonable, it's more of a matter of how many add-ons and extras you want, that's where it really starts to get pricey. Overall great experience! Lauren was fantastic to work with for our big day. Any questions we had were answered promptly and clearly despite us living in the Bay and only visiting the venue twice before the wedding. Having the all of the food catered by Jay’s and complimentary tasting days was convenient and their preferred vendors list made our lives much easier. The venue was stunning and we could not be happier with how it turned out. Would 100% recommend !
