From the very first conversation with Aliso Viejo by Wedgewood Weddings, we were absolutely blown away—we just knew we had found the perfect place. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was Kimberlyn. She didn’t just coordinate our wedding—she elevated every single moment of it. Her organization was flawless, her communication was crystal clear, and her calm, confident presence made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. Kimberlyn went so far above and beyond anything we could have expected. She helped orchestrate a deeply meaningful surprise with my dad walking me down the aisle, and she handled it with such care and precision that it became one of the most special moments of the entire day. Every detail, big and small, was thoughtfully managed, and it was so clear how much she genuinely cared about making our wedding extraordinary. The setting itself was breathtaking—the romantic fireplace backdrop, surrounded by mountains and trees, felt like something out of a dream. And the food? Absolutely incredible. Our guests are still talking about it—the fresh salads, perfectly cooked salmon, roast beef with horseradish, and the delicious appetizers. Every bite reflected the same level of excellence and attention to detail. From the ceremony to cocktail hour, the reception, and our grand exit, everything flowed so seamlessly it almost felt effortless. But we know that was entirely thanks to Kimberlyn’s dedication and expertise. We are beyond grateful, completely in awe of how everything came together, and couldn’t imagine a more perfect day.

What a beautiful venue and great staff. It was nice to have three distinct areas for ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner/dancing. Andrew was my main contact and he was fantastic to work with, along w Jessica and then, day of, Brandon. We used some of their preferred vendors for food, DJ and bar and they were all great as well. In addition, it was nice to be able to DIY some things like decor and flowers. I live in the Midwest and was able to handle it all from afar/day of. In an area as gorgeous as Orange County, where a person could choose a beautiful oceanfront venue, I would choose Aliso Viejo Ranch again without hesitation!

We loved having Aliso Viejo Country Club as our wedding venue! The golf course is absolutely gorgeous, I can’t believe I grew up in Southern California without ever realizing this beautiful country club was nearby. The event coordinator Mackenzie was particularly amazing. She was incredibly organized, personable, and just generally a ray of sunshine during the event planning process! The food during our reception was also delicious, as reported to us by several of our guests! I am so grateful to all of the AVCC staff for working so hard to make my wedding day so beautiful. Highly recommend this venue to any prospective brides or grooms!

5 stars all around. My husband and I recently got married in June 2024. And started planning the wedding a year ago in the summer of 2023. Fae was our event liaison for SOKA and worked with our wedding planner (the venue requires a wedding planner, and once the venue is booked all communication is done through the planner, we found that this was extremely helpful, and Fae is very very timely in her communication, optimistic, and overall a kind and extremely genuine person. She was so encouraging and it was so evident that she wanted to do her best to approve our wedding plans and vision. What a blessing it was to work with her, as my husband and I had a unique vision for the wedding, and she was our hype woman! My planner had nothing but good and sweet things to say about the whole experience, as SOKA does a great job of letting you know EVERYTHING that needs to be prepped and approved. If your planner and the couple is diligent in getting these easy tasks done ahead of time, then this is zero hassle. Do not be scared of all the rules and requirements - do not let some of the reviews freak you out (this is what almost made us not book, however, we quickly realized that it had nothing to do with SOKA, but rather past couples that may have not fully looked into the requirements of the venue), both SOKA and your planner take care of this, and if everyone works as a team your vision will come to life!!:) We have zero regrets about booking SOKA as our venue (we specifically booked The Atheneum Garden and Courtyard for the ceremony and reception). We got to bring Italy home to us in Orange County, and what's even more special, is we have the blessing of being able to revisit the venue, walk around, and remember all the beautiful memories that were made there (you can't usually do this with all-inclusive or traditional wedding venues). We recently did this for an after-the-wedding shoot with our photographer, and I cried happy emotional tears. I will say it again, truly a blessing and an answered prayer that we were able to have our dream wedding at SOKA. Thank you SOKA for sharing your beautiful space with us, The Scotts are forever grateful.

This is based on our catering manager Kelly Herbst at the ClubRenaissance. The food was excellent, wine had many compliments, and the service outstanding. Kelly had attention to all details both big and small. For example, her suggestions on the fold of the napkin made an overall difference to the look of the room. Her suggestions to the overall menu helped meet our every guest desires. The hotel is a great venue especially for the active type family with a full fitness facility, pool, bar, and spa. Kelly is extremely responsive and I would recommend her to anyone who wants any type of function at the Clubsport.
