Dove Canyon by Wedgewood Weddings

This venue and their staff is amazing. If we had to do it all over again, we would 1000% choose Dove Canyon. The outdoor AND indoor spaces are beautiful, the food is delicious, and everyone who works here is very nice with happy smiles on their faces, from the front desk staff to the servers. Especially through the COVID pandemic, they have been so flexible and accommodating, above and beyond what we could have ever imagined. You hear of horror stories about how wedding venues dealt with their clients during COVID, but this venue has been nothing short of awesome. Our main point of contact was Kim, but she works with her team which includes Griffin and Julie. Kim was always very prompt in her replies and thorough/detailed oriented in her planning and coordinating. She was so pleasant to work with, always happy to accommodate us with whatever our needs were in order to make our lives easier. We wanted to meet with the team a few times leading up to our wedding day and they scheduled us immediately either via zoom or in person. They took their time to walk us through everything so that we were all on the same page. The team was excellent in communicating; if one person was busy and couldn't reply another person on the team would address our concerns. Kim would also offer suggestions and advice that would make our ideas that much better executed. They provided all COVID safety measures possible to maximize safety including, but not limited to, taking down all doors and leaving them open to the outdoors, temperature checks, no common touch points, marking 6 ft distance on the floor for guests etc. In short, we are so grateful to have had Dove Canyon as our venue and Kim and her team as our coordinators to execute our perfect wedding day! We could not imagine getting married anywhere else and having anyone but Kim, Griffin, and Julie helping us. Thank you!

During our initial search for a wedding venue, we visited 6 different locations between MD and CA. Dove Canyon was the last venue we visited (including a few other nearby Wedgewood Venues) and we quickly fell love with it. It's a bit off the beaten trail but it is unlike any venue we visited or have attended a wedding at. The ceremony area is intimate beneath a huge oak tree and comfortably held 150 guests without feeling crowded. The indoor area is expansive with a beautiful overlook of the canyon. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was.

Because we were planning a wedding on the west coast from the east coast, Wedgewood's setup with preferred vendors (DJ, photographer, florist, baker, etc.) was extremely helpful, and we generally selected and were very pleased with their preferred vendors. Some particular shout-outs go to Isaac from DJ Maestro (fantastic DJ) and Kevin from True Photography. We also supplemented some of the florals included in our package with some arrangements by Green Rose Flowers (located in LA) which were amazing and well-priced, including a cascading Calla Lily bouquet (last picture). Other add-ons were a photobooth by William Lu photography and a taco stand outside the bar by Tacos Unicos.

The Wedgewood Weddings staff/GM at Dove Canyon were extremely accommodating and made sure everything went smoothly on our big day. In particular, we owe a special shout-out to Sierra (our planner and day-of coordinator) for being such a thoughtful and proactive coordinator. Her experience planning and coordinating weddings were obvious, including a fine attention to detail and willingness to help through the entire event. She even helped bustle the bride's dress at one point!

The bottom line--if you're considering a wedding in the LA area or are looking at options in CA from out of town--Dove Canyon by Wedgewood Weddings should be on your short list of venues to check out!

With all the money, time, and planning that goes into having a wedding, couples can only hope that their wedding day is one of the best days of their lives. It has been one week since our wedding day, and Robert and I are still reeling from all the energy, love, and joy from our big day.

We could not be happier with the venue and team at Dove Canyon. Firstly, the venue is beautiful - the mountains, the giant oak tree, the floor-to-ceiling windows. We saved money on excessive decorations since the space itself looked elevated as is. We received so many compliments from our friends and family about how nice the event space was.

As a type B bride, I kept feeling like I was too lax in the planning process and was anxious during the weeks leading up to the big day. With each meeting, the planning team made us feel more at ease and prepared. Big shoutout to Jorja, Catalina, and Janessa for all their help. They are very thorough in designing a timeline and floor plan that maximizes the time and space of the day.

Robert even expressed in the meetings how much he loves crab cakes, and when we came back from taking photos during cocktail hour, a platter of appetizers with extra crab cakes was prepared for us by the staff. We also did not have much of an appetite with all the adrenaline of the day, and the staff prepared to-go boxes of entrees, sides, and desserts that we were able to eat later in the night. Thank you to DJ Scott, his apprentice, and the bartender Favio for helping to keep the energy of the reception so high.

We had the best day with our friends and family and we will carry all the love we felt into our journey as husband and wife. Much love and gratitude to the Dove Canyon Wedgewood team.

We truly could not have asked for a better wedding experience! From the very beginning, Wedgewood Weddings made the entire planning process incredibly easy and practically effortless. They take care of so many of the details, planning, and coordination for you, which means you actually get to enjoy the fun parts of wedding planning—choosing your colors, cake flavors, menu items, décor, and all of the little personal touches that make the day yours.

Throughout the entire process, the team was thoughtful, attentive, organized, and incredibly responsive. We always felt like we were in great hands, and when our wedding day arrived, everything came together absolutely perfectly. We genuinely had ZERO hiccups! We were able to be completely present and enjoy our wedding without worrying about what was happening behind the scenes because they had everything handled.

We especially want to recognize Noelle, our day-of coordinator. She was absolutely wonderful—so sweet, thoughtful, attentive, and helpful. She truly went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of and that our day was perfect. We were especially touched by the sweet note she left in our card box, along with a photo from our wedding that she had already printed and framed for us. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture and something we will always treasure.

DJ Bobby was also AMAZING! He did such a fantastic job throughout the entire reception and helped make the celebration so much fun. The music and energy were exactly what we wanted, and our guests had an absolute blast.

And we cannot say enough wonderful things about our photographer, Myro from True Photography. He was incredible to work with and did such an amazing job capturing our day. We are so grateful to have all of those beautiful moments preserved and absolutely loved having him there as part of our wedding experience.

Our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be—beautiful, joyful, stress-free, and genuinely perfect. We are incredibly grateful to the entire Wedgewood team and everyone who helped bring our day together.

If you want a beautiful wedding without the stress of having to coordinate a million different details and vendors yourself, we cannot recommend Wedgewood Weddings enough. They made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish and allowed us to simply soak in and enjoy one of the happiest days of our lives.

Excellent, funny, and kind team. They helped us plan our wedding in the midst of huge life changes. I appreciated their candor and professionalism, and they helped keep the day light and fun for all our family members.

They’ll answer all of your questions— and I recommend actually asking them for their personal opinions on food, decor, etc. I so appreciated their input— and they helped build that relationship where I could trust it.

Working with the team at Dove Canyon for our reception was an incredible experience. They were very communicative throughout the whole process and were quick to help me when I needed it. The venue itself was beautiful and the food was delicious. Everyone kept commenting on the service, the venue, and the atmosphere. Dove Canyon is a magical place! The open air and skies take you wherever you want to be at that moment of bliss, away from all worldly concerns!

It was absolutely perfect! Kimmy and Julie are the best to work with and their communication is top notch. They do everything and anything to make you happy and feel special on your day! It is also affordable and the food was delicious!

My niece was scheduled in the ballroom at Dove Canyon Golf Club for her wedding reception and due to COVID -19 had to move everything outdoors.
Kimmy was quick to make the move and already had a plan in place for us. Their day was so beautiful!! We cannot say enough about the club, staff and food! All night guests continued to say WOW... the food was AMAZING and the view was breathtaking!! Thank you Kimmy and staff for such a beautiful day!

Where do I even start? We are so glad we went with Dove Canyon Golf Club to host our wedding & Reception. It is such a beautiful venue, inside and out! The staff at Dove Canyon Golf Club are very friendly, accommodating and professional. They actually care about your special day and try to make it the best it can possibly be. Especially during these times and all the restrictions present due to COVID-19. They worked with us on what seemed like continuously changing regulations. I would recommend DCGC to anyone who wants a beautiful venue, friendly staff that actually care about what they do and a venue that is more than accommodating during these COVID-19 times while keeping your guests as safe as possible.
