It was absolutely perfect! Kimmy and Julie are the best to work with and their communication is top notch. They do everything and anything to make you happy and feel special on your day! It is also affordable and the food was delicious!

My niece was scheduled in the ballroom at Dove Canyon Golf Club for her wedding reception and due to COVID -19 had to move everything outdoors.
Kimmy was quick to make the move and already had a plan in place for us. Their day was so beautiful!! We cannot say enough about the club, staff and food! All night guests continued to say WOW... the food was AMAZING and the view was breathtaking!! Thank you Kimmy and staff for such a beautiful day!

Where do I even start? We are so glad we went with Dove Canyon Golf Club to host our wedding & Reception. It is such a beautiful venue, inside and out! The staff at Dove Canyon Golf Club are very friendly, accommodating and professional. They actually care about your special day and try to make it the best it can possibly be. Especially during these times and all the restrictions present due to COVID-19. They worked with us on what seemed like continuously changing regulations. I would recommend DCGC to anyone who wants a beautiful venue, friendly staff that actually care about what they do and a venue that is more than accommodating during these COVID-19 times while keeping your guests as safe as possible.

We had our wedding at Dove Canyon Golf Club in June 2019. Sarah, Kimmy, and the rest of the Dove Canyon team were so accommodating and we're so grateful that we picked their beautiful location for our big day. The team at Dove Canyon was always helpful throughout the entire process and we can't thank them enough for their hospitality. Everything was exactly as we'd imagined, the food was amazing, and everyone on their staff is exceptionally kind and helpful.

Sarah Vaughn is an outstanding events coordinator. We celebrated our Daughter's 'awedding on February 18, 2017. Both the ceremony and the reception went off without a hitch thanks to Sarah and her staff. The venue itself is so stunning with its large windows and gorgeous views of the canyon. We had several guests from out of state who were blown away with the beauty. The food was delicious and the compliments are still pouring in on how enjoyable the day was! We were so lucky that California had one of its biggest rain storms in over 5 years the day before the wedding. This made the gorgeous views even more spectacular. The canyon looked green and clean and picturesque! The ambience is romantic and cozy, exactly what my daughter and her new husband were looking for. Dove Canyon, Sarah and her staff truly helped to make my daughter's wedding dreams come true!

This is THE place to have your wedding and reception! Beyond how beautiful and lush the scenery is, the venue is gorgeous and everything from the food, service and attention to detail was first rate! Becky , Sarah, Jenna and the team at Dove Canyon ensured a perfect wedding for us. Everything from the food tasting, rehearsal, and how organized and professional they are enabled us to just relax and enjoy every moment of our wedding experience. When we met with Becky to hear about the club packages, we just knew this was the right place for us. She is so kind and accommodating, and answered every question we had with , " We can do that!" Our wedding was so special and the staff were there for us at every turn without being intrusive. I think I had champagne in my hand at all times! They just did not miss a thing. We received so many compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed the venue, and especially the food! The prime rib and chicken were stand outs. Appetizers like bacon-wrapped scallops and crab cakes were enjoyed while our guests enjoyed the cocktails and wine. Becky and Sarah also did an amazing job setting up the venue with our amazing Florist Berta Downing. We are truly grateful for the wonderful service and memorable experience!

Everything about Dove Canyon was heaven. I come with a background in events and catering, which was probably a blessing and a curse since I had many oddly specific questions and requests. From the very first visit, standing in awe of the sculptural entrance, to our final departure on the wedding day via sparkler exit, Jenna and Becky were accessible, detailed, and extremely easy to work with to make our dream come true. Jenna was our point person and she is a rockstar, making us feel encouraged as she answered questions and offered suggestions or alternatives, and kept the ship moving on the day of.
The venue itself is stunning, with stone and wood decor. Our wedding was the week before Christmas, so we were happy to have tasteful holiday decorations to add to the ambiance. I had never been to a winter wedding before, but this venue affords itself to it with rich colors, textures, and furniture, and two fireplaces! The space itself is flexible and functional, which we took to heart with rain threatening all day of the wedding, but confident that the inside ceremony option would be just as beautiful as the outdoor.
Dove Canyon surpassed all our expectations to deliver amazing food service! Again, I've worked catering and venues, so I know the struggle of serving 100+ people. We were thoughtful in our choices for what to serve and chose a duet of chicken and steak for each person (By the way, the menu tasting was a wonderful experience, as well). The steaks were cooked medium and the chicken was juicy! Amen! And not just ours as the bride and groom...we received the same praise from people at different tables. They were awesome, as well, with what we desired to have available at the bar and at what time. Food and Beverage: On point.

A few weeks later we were reminiscing and I commented, "I want to get married again!" He replied, "You don't want to plan another wedding." "No, I don't. I want to do it exactly the same way."

Jenna and the entire staff at Dove Canyon were the best every step of the way. Everything came off as planned. The venue is beautiful, fresh and versatile. The buffet food couldn't have gotten more rave reviews from our guests, and the service matched the quality of the entire event. Highly recommend!!

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at Dove Canyon Country Club. The venue is beautiful-we could see that from the beginning and that is why we chose it. However, the staff really made our event truly amazing. Becky was our coordinator. She has a calm energy that makes you feel so relaxed about every detail. We decided to check out this venue after doing some brief research on Weddingwire. This was the first venue we checked out and didn't realize it would've been more appropriate to contact the vendor to schedule an appointment first. Becky was able to accommodate us even though a wedding was scheduled in about an hour. I had a lot more questions after checking out more venues, and Becky and Jenna have always been very patient and responsive answering my questions. My fiance and I both decided that this was our favorite venue with beautiful structure/scenery and with packages that can be customized. We can't wait to have our big day at this venue!

My daughter's wedding & reception were here & it was beautiful! Jenna was our coordinator and she and her staff were fantastic! We didn't have to worry about a thing even when the ceremony was moved indoors because of an unexpected storm. The location indoors & outdoors is beautiful! The food is delicious and the professionalism of serving staff really showed. We received many compliments from guests and most also said it was the best wedding they had ever been to!

I just recently got married at Dove Canyon in June. It was amazing! Everything from the very first step of planning to the time we walked out the door for our sparkler exit on our wedding day went smoothly and stress-free. The staff that works there is SO helpful, and truly tries their best to make it the best day ever. Jenna was our wedding coordinator and we could not have asked for anyone better to help us with everything. She was always polite, helpful, and responded to emails very quickly. I also met Becky a few times throughout the process and again, she was always friendly and helpful. The guests had a great time, and we received so many compliments about the day. The food was delicious and the service during the wedding was great. Many of the guests stated that it was the most elegant, FUN, and well run weddings they have attended.

My husband and I looked at almost every country club from Aliso Viejo to San Clemente before we booked anywhere. We are beyond happy with our decision to get married at Dove Canyon. I'm currently planning my wedding and the amount of help I have received has been amazing! Becky has been remarkable! I am a bit of a pain and can't seem to make up my mind about anything regarding decor and she has been so kind about meeting with me every time I want to see it. I can't wait for the wedding day. I feel extremely blessed to have worked with Jenna at Dove Canyon to make my July 13 wedding day perfect! From the first time I toured Dove to the day of our wedding, it was a professional and delightful experience. Jenna was extremely organized and diligent with each deadline through the process. We loved having our wedding at Dove Canyon!!! Jenna was simply wonderful and so helpful. She is a total sweetheart and kept us laughing through the whole wedding process. She was quick to answer any questions we had and the questions she was unsure about she would do research for us and help us figure it out. Hands down she is a huge part in what made our day the best day ever. Also with our initial guest list of 300 people, Dove Canyon was the most affordable which is a huge reason why we picked this place. Every other place was threw the roof in price with a guest list that high. We had an amazing wedding day here! We were very blessed and thankful for the staff here!

The event coordinators at Dove Canyon are very professional and experienced. Becky set a positive, welcoming tone from our first inquiry and Jenna continued to provide outstanding service as we proceeded through the planning process. Dove's lovely golf course landscape and hillside setting offered the perfect backdrop for our outdoor ceremony. The indoor space was ample and allowed us to personalize with our own vision and theme. In selecting the venue for our daughter's wedding we really liked the private, intimate feel of a golf course country club versus the impersonal feeling of a hotel reception (and we looked at many). The event team also has a wonderful working relationship with many quality vendors such as DJ, florist, photographer and bakery. Dove Canyon by far had the most to offer in value, quality and the overall ambiance we were looking for. A memorable evening for us, the newlyweds and our guests.

Dove Canyon is a Beautiful wedding venue. We used this venue for our reception and everything went so well. Dove Canyon and their team of event coordinators and staff were so accommodating and I felt like they were always one step ahead of me and also a step behind me in case I left anything behind. They were professional, helpful, friendly, dependable, trustworthy, and very experienced with working with weddings and all the details, guests and vendors that are involved. They knew the answers to all my questions which gave confidence to both my husband and I. I never hesitated to pick up my phone to call our contact or shoot them an email. They were also so responsive and I actually missed working with them when the wedding was over. The staff and the team do a fabulous job keeping the venue looking great! They have a lot of knowledge (from so many weddings they do) which was so helpful in planning the details of my wedding. I’d recommend this venue to all my local friends and family. There’s enough parking, the inside and outside are beautiful, the food was great and I didn’t stop hearing compliments from my family and friends of how much they loved our wedding venue. My husband and I recently had the privilege of celebrating our wedding day at Dove Canyon Country Club. The facility is beautiful, clean and everyone was so professional and friendly. The food was a huge hit with our guests. So delicious! The salmon was my favorite! I worked with Becky and Jenna. They're both great and so sweet. I don't know what I would've done without Jenna on my wedding day! I can't thank her enough for providing us with the beautiful chair covers in place of the old worn out chairs.

I was sold on Dove Canyon based off of my first phone call with Becky Halbreich. After hours and hours of searching for the perfect place for my dream wedding I somehow came across the name Dove Canyon Country Club. I looked up their website and saw a few pictures that showed that the place seemed pretty nice, so I called to get more information. That first phone call with Becky was so refreshing! It was the first time that I spoke to someone who didn't remind me of how much every little thing would be and what I could and could not do. I also liked that I had so many choices with their menu and could make it work with my budget. The place is gorgeous! It has a Frank Lloyd Wright feel to it with floor to ceiling glass windows and glowing fireplaces. It was beautiful, open, airy, and welcoming -everything I wanted for my guests. The main room looks over a lovely pond that flows down into a waterfall, which is very picturesque for your formal pictures. There are also fantastic views of the canyon and golf course. Becky was knowledgeable, informative, creative, open, and easy to work with. She really worked with me to make my wedding exactly how I wanted it to be. She was quick and polite with what could and could not be done and always had prices/information on hand for different options. The staff was awesome to work with and every experience was done professionally and in a pleasant way without feeling rushed or like just another bride. The only bad thing is that it was hard to decide the menu, since all of the food choices were delicious. When it came to my wedding day everything was perfect and the few things that did come up (out of Dove Canyon's control) were taken care of swiftly and before I knew or could be concerned about it. I had the most magical wedding day (both ceremony and reception) that was unique to everything little thing that I wanted, which wouldn't have been possible without Becky or her fabulous staff at Dove Canyon Country Club.

Dove Canyon is a beautiful venue and my husband and I are so happy we had our wedding ceremony and reception there. We received many compliments on how beautiful our wedding was. Not only is the venue beautiful, the staff members were amazing, especially the event coordinator, Becky. She is top-notch!! Becky and her crew were remarkable. First, they are experienced and know the process well. Second, they were on top of every question and concern that, while typical for them, not for the first time wedding planning families. Third, they took us through all the processes at a pace that was easy to absorb. Forth, the rehearsal and wedding went according to plan and that was a direct relationship between Becky and the vendors. Overall, it could not have gone better.

I visited 20+ venues throughout Orange County during the ceremony/reception venue selection process. My husband and I fell in love with Dove Canyon and our intuition served us well, as we LOVED working with Dove Canyon throughout the planning process. Becky - the Director of Events - was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and accommodating. The outside terrace was a beautiful location for our ceremony. The lush backdrop of the canyon was amazing and the weather was perfect. The interior reception location was perfect too. Plus, the food - and food service - was fantastic. Several friends and family said my wedding was one of the best weddings they have ever attended. I am very grateful for Dove Canyon for their support throughout the process. I definitely recommend Dove Canyon to anyone looking to wed in OC! Dove Canyon was wonderful in every way.

They are extremely classy, attentive and understanding of what it is to have a wedding. We couldn't have been more pleased. We reserved the venue over a year prior to the wedding. Dove Canyon ended up having a staffing change one month prior to the big day. They paid even more attention to use even though they were short staffed, and hats off to Becky for maintaing her poise during this time. Eventually Jen took over. We met her a week prior to the wedding and she was extremely sweet and caring. We can't say enough about DC and hope to return for other events in the future. They did their best to make it the most special day of ours lives and we are forever grateful.

great, beautiful venue! the place is great as is and you wont need a lot of flowers and decorations at this location. its warm cozy and even has few fire places! the service is outstanding and the food is great.

The Dove Canyon Country Club is a gorgeous, gorgeous venue. Because I had my heart set on having our ceremony in a church, I didn't do both the ceremony and reception here however, the grounds are stunning. They have wonderful facilities, preparation rooms, indoor and outdoor ceremony accommodations - I'd highly recommend having both events here, if it works for your vision. Becky, the events director is phenomenal. She's on-point, friendly, organized, and I cannot thank her enough, for preparing my wedding, so that it went off without a hitch. Our guests absolutely loved the food - as did my husband, who had his heart set on a carving station. Because of this reception venue, my wedding had the warmth and romantic ambiance I had always dreamed of. Enjoy this venue, their team, their wonderful food and drink, and stunning location - my guests said numerous times that during the sunset, they felt like there were in Tuscany.

We had our wedding reception at Dove Canyon Country Club and I would definitely recommend the venue to others. The club is beautiful and well-maintained. The staff is incredible. Becky and Lorraine were so accommodating and were very patient, despite all of my questions and emails. The food is excellent, which several of my guests mentioned as well. Absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. The ceremony and reception sites were stunning and they work hard to ensure that you are comfortable on the day of. They even brought down a special plate of appetizers for the wedding party right after the ceremony to make sure we got a taste... and that is just one minor detail they covered! Dove Canyon is really a gorgeous site for both the ceremony and the reception. Our guests loved it and had good things to say about their evening. As a bride, I was impressed with the coordinators responsiveness, they were very on top of all of the details we worked out. The service for food and bar was quick which is good for 100 plus people. **My one note to couples would be - discuss if you want the TV on. The bartender had a baseball game on the TV and instead of dancing people were watching TV...not what you imagine at your wedding. Everything else was great. Very happy overall. Thanks!

Dove Canyon is absolutely beautiful! All of our guests asked us how we found it and thought it was one of the most amazing backdrops ever. The events department is second to none! They know their stuff and wanted more than anything to accomodate every single thing we wanted to do. Whereas at other venues you get "No, but let me see. There might be an up-charge." Here, we got "Yes! I'll double check to make sure and see if we can include it." It was such a huge relief from everywhere else that we booked it on the spot, a year in advance.
As for the day of, the events department did everything - making up for our day-of planner. If you are considering a planner, you likely won't need one if you use Dove. We hired one since our ceremony was in a different location and I pushed very hard for one. However, after going through the day, even with our ceremony elsewhere - this staff is so good that we really could have saved the cost. The food was great, presentation was great, and they went out of their way to make our day unforgetable. We highly recommend Dove Canyon!

This place was fantastic. We were able to do anything we wanted and made it look amazing. It also fit all the poeple we needed, and was great as far as space for a line, dance floor, etc.

Dove Canyon is an absolutely beautiful venue, and is well equipped to host the most elegant and downright FUN events. We had our ceremony outside on the covered terrace and our reception in the ballroom, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how great and beautiful the space was. Dove Canyon really has it all, gorgeous views, elegance for days, and a very helpful staff that will be there for you every step of the way, from planning to executing your vision for your wedding day. Both Becky and Jenna were super helpful throughout the entire process. Highly recommended!

We want to thank Dove Canyon staff for doing an excellent job in taking care of every request we asked in planning for the wedding of my son and his bride. When we didn't know where to have our rehearsal dinner we asked Dove Canyon if they handled that too. The rehearsal dinner was set up in the Library room and the new carpet was getting installed before our rehearsal date. It was stunning setting with the new carpeting. The food and service was excellent . It made it convenient for the family and the wedding party to walk upstairs to have drinks , dinner, and have great conversation.

Our July wedding went very smoothly. We had a wedding planner and Becky worked well with our planner. I must say if we didn't have a wedding planner , Dove Canyon/Becky , would be able to coordinate everything themselves on the day of the wedding. My son's wedding was handled with excellent service and the food was outstanding! The grounds are beautiful and are well taken care of..

I recommend this venue. It is a gorgeous setting for an outdoor wedding. The food and service is excellent. The staff was very professional and were very helpful in giving everything you need.

We held our ceremony indoors in their sunken lounge area. It was so beautiful to have the big glass windows behind us overlooking the canyon. The food was absolutely fantastic, but it was a bit pricey. Being worth the price did make up for that, though. However, the service was great and the coordinators were always there to help me with everything. I would definitely suggest working with them again and, for anyone looking for an indoor site, it was beautiful and had the feeling of an outdoor location without the difficulties.

Dove Canyon Country Club was definitely amazing when it came to our wedding day! I definitely had an idea of what I wanted the day to look like and they were more than accommodating when it came to making that happen. I had an amazing experience with them and wish we could relive it all again!

This is a very beautiful venue inside and out. Working with Jenna and Kim was very easy and they made sure that everything we wanted got done. On our wedding day it was clear with a chance of rain around the ceremony time and we ended up moving it inside last minute. Jenna and Kim ran around to get everything set up inside. Amazing time :)

We went through about 3 people as our main contact for our wedding, so sometimes it took a few days for them to get back to us, but they all kept each other well informed of the updates/decisions we had made for our wedding. Since my husband and I couldn't afford a wedding planner, Jenna and Kimmy went above and beyond the day of the wedding and made me feel like everything was under control. Thanks ladies!! It helped that all my vendors were on top of things and did a fantastic job keeping things going and organized and beautiful.

Dove Canyon is an amazing place to get married! The view and grounds are absolutely incredible and I’m beyond pleased with how our wedding ceremony and reception went at this venue. Sarah and her team were easy to work with and pleasant to be with. You won’t regret using this venue for your event!

We found the venue picturesque and its on site management very helpful on the first visit. Compared to other outdoor venues , none could compare in terms of view , facility and flexibility. We had our event in February and being able to have an indoor or outdoor event was very useful. Food exceeded expectations and service on the night of the event was excellent!!

Dove Canyon was pretty amazing start to finish. I contacted them in our search for a wedding venue, explaining that our budget was quite small and out guest list was around 150 people or so. My husband and I paid for our wedding all on our own and needed to save anywhere we could. When we received the call from Becky at Dove Canyon saying that they would be able to work within our budget we were thrilled. We hadn’t seen the venue yet, but we were excited to hear positive news. We made our appointment and when we walked in the door we were floored. The place is amazing! Floor to ceiling windows all across the back wall, with beautiful tree lined views. Nice tall ceilings, a lot of space. We couldn’t believe that we could afford to have our reception here. Becky chatted with us about the options, and we were able to pick something we were happy with and not go over our budget. It wasn’t a typical wedding package, so there were extra things to add in, but even with the add-on’s we were able to keep the cost of the reception under $6k. Our guests afterward, were raving about the food (pasta buffet) and a few of them were very concerned that we must have spent a small fortune on the reception. They felt that we pulled out all the stops, and must be in a large amount of debt. But it was really the most cost effective (and beautiful) option we had. Working with Becky was wonderful. She was very responsive, very professional, friendly, accommodating, and knew what she was talking about. She was great! Downside: Becky told us the Friday before the event (the event being Sunday) that she would not be there for the reception and introduced us to another lady. The day of the wedding, the other lady supervised the setting up of the event, but was not there for the actual reception. Instead we were passed to yet a 3rd coordinator. This 3rd coordinator drove me a little insane. Instead of going to the DJ to tell him it’s time to start the “toasts” she came to me. I had to fetch the DJ, and then scuttle back to my table. We felt like she rushed us through every “big” part of the reception. After toasts came the father daughter/mother son dance, and as soon as we were done, we were told to get going on the garter/bouquet toss. Then we were rushed right into the cake cutting. I just wish the lady would have given us a break somewhere in there.
However, all in all the experience was amazing, all of our guests had wonderful things to say about the venue and we were very very happy with it. Definitely recommend it

The clubhouse was very nice, and the food choice was excellent. However, since this is a private golf course, guests are not allowed on the property other than the clubhouse building. We were able to take photos on the golf course, escorted by the event coordinator. Overall, I was satisfied.

This was a beautiful venue for wedding reception. The staff are very professional and attentive. It was perfect and easy.

We loved our venue. Absolutely beautiful venue inside and outside. It rain on our big day, and the team at dove canyon moved our entire set up inside. Fireplaces lit and still a beautiful view of the canyon.
The food was top notch and we loved the ready room for both the groom and the bride!

Dove Canyon is a beautiful venue and I'm blessed to have had my wedding here! I love the architecture of the building and the views. The staff that worked the night of my wedding was amazing! I got a lot of compliments on how great they were from vendors and guests.
The steak was well cooked and tasty- impressive when cooking for a large group. I liked the different package options and how I didn't have to book a lot of outside vendors. Their preferred vendor list is super helpful as well. One thing that could have been improved was communication in the couple weeks before the wedding. I felt a lot of stuff was done last minute, which has stressful, but the reception went amanzingly and I would highly recommend this venue to other brides!

Let me start off by saying DCCC is GORGEOUS and you get a great deal with a lot of options! Unfortunately, our original coordinator left for a new job a week before our wedding, so we felt a little abandoned and were concerned that the things we talked about would get forgotten or lost in the transfer of our contract/file with our new coordinator. My husband and the groomsmen reported that there were no beverages provided for them in the groom suite, as stated in our package and mentioned to us by our original coordinator during the menu tasting. My husband told me that they went down to the clubhouse to buy some beer, and our new coordinator kind of scolded them telling them they couldn't bring in outside beverages. Of course they explained that they purchased it from downstairs, and that they only purchased it because they were not given what they were originally supposed to get in the groom suite. She understood after it was explained to her, but still should not have been presumptuous and rude! We were also told by our original coordinator that our decorations would be set up by the staff--instead, our groomsmen, and some family members ended up doing it. I heard some other complaints from people that they did not enjoy working with our coordinator, as she didn't seem very nice, was superficial, and curt. We were given 30 minutes for our ceremony and 1 hour for cocktail reception. The ceremony started late (not sure why), pushing back the cocktail reception, which actually really upset me. We had to rush through our pictures with our wedding party and subsequently at the waterfall. I really wished that was timed better on DCCC's end.

Kimmy, my bridal attendant, was there from start to finish, very supportive :) She is AWESOME. I felt like she really cared about us. She let us spend a couple extra minutes taking photos at the waterfall, which I greatly appreciate, and because of her I give DCCC some extra professionalism points.

Dove Canyon recently got a new prime Saturday available for the wedding of your dreams. Unfortunate, due to family health issues we had to postpone our date until 2017. This gorgeous venue is now available for Saturday, September 10, 2016. Nestled in the stunning canyons of south Orange County, Dove Canyon Country Club is the perfect venue for your dream wedding. Becky, and her team will be able or assist you with scheduling and planning to make this day perfect for you!

This venue is absolutely beautiful! There are two huge doors that open up into a lobby area (for lack of a better word) that has a fireplace on the left and if you look up you will see the light come through the mini skylights in the vaulted ceilings. If you look to the right, there is a bigger skylight with some foliage underneath it where your gift table will probably go. If you look straight ahead there you will see that there are steps that lead down to a foyer where you can hold your ceremony if you want it indoors. There is no wall, but floor to ceiling windows across the back of the foyer and the reception hall which is attached but separate. There is no door, but it's easy to setup for a grand entrance :)

Please remember to get everything in writing as we had some communication problems. It felt like our wedding was thrown together last minute and that there was not much importance given to it. For example we were expecting our timeline from Lorraine in September as promised, but we did not receive it until about 7 days before our wedding. I'm a planner and a nervous bride so that did not sit well with me. Also, we had told Lorraine several times that we were having an indoor wedding ceremony and Becky had no idea about it when we were sent our itinerary. It was a bit frustrating and I cannot fathom how unorganized they were with our wedding. EVERYONE has given such great reviews about how the wedding went off without a glitch --ours did too -- but the wedding process and the planning was definitely not stress free.. My vendors also had problems getting in touch with Lorraine who seemed to be out of the office most of the time.

The golf course is famous --Jack Nicklaus golf course and my fiance wanted to book it for a game with his father 4 months in advance but were told to wait a week before and of course...nothing was available.
4. Make sure you figure out what they mean by "cake stand"

There is no doubt that Dove Canyon Golf Club is a gorgeous venue. All our friends loved it. One even wanted to hold an anniversary party there. However, the service we received was not up to par. The only thing I can say is either get a wedding coordinator of your own or make sure to watch what the staff is doing. Many people have told me that the servers were trying to clear plates that still had food on it. Many people told me that they were not served cake. I was told that the people had to be seated and my friends have told me they were. I have never been to a wedding where cake was not served and you had to go get your own cake and the fork. The more I think about it, the less the policy makes sense. How many people are actually seated at a wedding by the time the cake is cut? With people dancing and mingling and taking pictures at the photo booth, the policy just seems lazy. It really feels like the less the staff has to do and the faster they can finish the night the better. We were also never told when our based on consumption bar tab had been reached. We had to go find someone to confirm and then almost got billed extra for the last 45 minutes of the night when most of the people had left and one of my friends told me the bartender was gone. There were other things that we weren't happy about, but I understand everything can't be perfect and maybe we didn't get the whole story. Some people raved about the food and some said it was just ok. The bacon wrapped scallops definitely seemed like a crowd pleaser.

So to reiterate, gorgeous venue, just make sure you keep an eye on the service.

Becky has no memory, she will tell you let me get back to you on any question. She takes weeks to get back to you. She thought stepdad was the father even though last name was different? Thought cousin was best man, was totally confused right after everything was explain at rehearsal. Closed bar with no warning, didn't have $500 lights on at dinner, then turned every light on. Got as bright as the sun in the middle of dinner! She disappeared after 2 hours and nobody knew what they were doing after she left. Staff where rude, would not smile at guest. Very unprofessional, you don't get what you pay for at all as far a staff. The setting is nice and thats about it, NOT worth the MONEY! In the end Dove Canyon and Becky will say - oh Im sorry. Becky should be FIRED! -----------In response to Dove Canyon comments- Im sure Becky will tell you the truth??? - Her excuses more likely, she will tell you what you want to hear- have fun good luck.
