The Barn at Aliso Viejo Ranch is a wedding venue in Aliso Viejo, California. Set in the heart of Orange County, this venue offers a beautifully landscaped setting in a convenient location. It is just 20 minutes from the Santa Ana Airport and close to some of the finest hiking and surfing spots in Southern California. Facilities and Capacity
The Aliso Viejo Ranch offers indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremonies and receptions. There are six distinct areas where couples can hold their celebrations. From intimate ceremonies to large gatherings, these spaces can accommodate events of all sizes. The grounds feature an outdoor patio draped with festival lighting, which adds an atmospheric ambiance to any celebration. This patio can be used for the reception or for relaxing during the cocktail hour. Beautiful trees surround the area, and a large lawn provides a great place to photograph or play lawn games. Historical artifacts also dot the landscape, and a working farm is nearby. Hidden pathways are great for strolling around the path or finding secluded spots to take photos. The barn boasts wood laminate flooring, vaulted plank ceilings with black trusses, and abundant natural light.

Tables and chairs are included in the Barn rental at Aliso Viejo Ranch. Get-ready rooms are also available for the couples to prepare for the big day and socialize with the wedding party. What a beautiful venue and great staff. It was nice to have three distinct areas for ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner/dancing. Andrew was my main contact and he was fantastic to work with, along w
Jessica and then, day of, Brandon. We used some of their preferred vendors for food, DJ and bar and they were all great as well. In addition, it was nice to be able to DIY some things like decor and flowers. I live in the Midwest and was able to handle it all from afar/day of. In an area as gorgeous as Orange County, where a person could choose a beautiful oceanfront venue, I would choose Aliso Viejo Ranch again without hesitation!

You Won't Regret AV Ranch!! Best Venue and Staff Ever!
We had our wedding at Aliso Viejo Ranch and it was truly the most magical day! We had our ceremony in the courtyard in front of the white barn, and originally planned to have the reception on the Western Patio before we got unexpected rain. The AV Ranch team handled it like pros and were so flexible. They quickly and calmly helped us move everything indoors, and it honestly turned out even more beautiful than we could have imagined. The indoor space created such an intimate, cozy atmosphere and the transition felt completely smooth thanks to their flexibility and support. Our guest found it so exciting that we had the "good luck" rain on our wedding day and it turned into a highlight for them without compromising the party.
The AV Ranch team was incredible to work with from start to finish. They were so organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day amazing. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous the venue was, and we’ll be forever grateful for how smooth and special everything felt.
If you’re looking for a venue that’s not only stunning but also comes with a dedicated team who truly has your back, Aliso Viejo Ranch is it. We’re so happy we chose it!!

Hidden gem
The place is STUNNING! My husband and I had our wedding here and it was exactly what we wanted and more. The staff is friendly and very communicative. The employee “Andrew” was the one who helped us the most and he always responded quickly when we had a question about anything. Thanks Andrew!
The pricing was very reasonable especially compared to everywhere else. We saved so much money choosing this place but you’d never know it because it’s beautiful. We received so many compliments on the venue alone and told people the price and some of our Guest are actually looking into renting it for an event themselves.
There are also so many stunning areas to take picture at on the property. The photos I’m posting are all taken here on property at AVR.
One complaint is that there needs to be more air ventilation and AC in the dressing rooms. We were all sweating to death getting ready.
But other than that…. All around YES for this place!!
The pricing was very reasonable especially compared to everywhere else. We saved so much money choosing this place but you’d never know it because it’s beautiful. We received so many compliments on the venue alone and told people the price and some of our Guest are actually looking into renting it for an event themselves.

An Incredible Day
We loved our day at The Barn! From the start of the planning process to the actual day, everyone was attentive, organized, and reliable with their communication! We mostly worked with Andrew and Jessica, both of whom were beyond helpful! The venue itself is gorgeous and offers rental by the hour!

Do not look anywhere else! This venue is great!!
The team here is amazing! From the first email to all communication through out the planning, they were on top of it! I will share that as a past Client, beware that the venue itself (due to the city requirements) does require a lot from your vendors, but the team will help walk you through it all (& having an outside coordinator will help!)
I threw an event here to celebrate 10 years of my photography business with over 100 clients coming to celebrate and this was the perfect venue to do so. Not only was the team great with communication, but they already have all the tables and chairs (plus in house linen rental for the tables) which helped with one less vendors. The option of using partial barn and using the patio was perfect for my vision and guests where able to easily move from inside and out. They set up everything of theirs up and then it is a perfect venue for everything else that you want to DIY!
The day of the event went so smooth and so many of the guests were amazed at how beautiful the venue was and some clients (who are current and past wedding couples) teased that they wish they booked this venue as their venue. As a past bride myself, I wish this venue was around 5 years ago, so I could have had my wedding here, too!
Whether you are planning a wedding or any type of event, this venue is IT!! Book the tour and then book them for it! It will be worth it!! :)

Very accommodating
Thank you Thank you AV Ranch. Jessica @ AV you were an absolute Joy to work with on such an unpredictable day. My business Partner Jessica and I @perfcetpair_events had our first experience coordinating at AV Ranch this past weekend. It was raining on and off. Our bride wanted so badly to have her ceramony outside and though that did not work out, Jessica and her staff made indoors work like a charm. With so many last minute changes, Jessica and the rest of the staff, where so accommodating. Thank you for all the help and all your patience on such a rainy Day,we hope to bring some of our brides back to Aliso Viejo Ranch.

Beautiful space! Awesome team of people to work with!
Aliso Viejo Ranch is such a lovely and unique event venue, with a great team of people to work with! I coordinated a big engagement party there a few weekends ago, and everything went off without a hitch! We utilized the Western Patio, which was perfect for all our event needs—plenty of outdoor space for almost 200 guests, a taco stand, two bar set-ups, a churro truck (parked in the loading zone of the parking lot)—and of course the gorgeous rustic ranch feel was a nice complement to it all. Andrew, Nick, Jessica and the rest of the AVR team all helped make the planning process so seamless, which made the day-of coordination that much smoother all day/night! Thank you Aliso Viejo Ranch, will definitely be recommending you for future clients in need of a unique space for their special event!

Excellent Venue!
The Barn at Aliso Viejo Ranch is a hidden gem in southern Orange County. Not only is this venue a newly renovated facility, it is a pay per hour venue, allowing you flexibility if you are a bride looking for a little extra savings. The venue is beautiful on its own, with outdoor lighting, greenery, wood details, and of course the red barn! We chose to do the ceremony in front of the barn and the reception outside on the Western Patio. You can also rent the inside of the barn, which was reassuring for us to have a backup in case it rained on the day of our wedding. You are able to bring in your own vendors which is also a great way to save money, and make sure the food and other vendors are unique to you! They only require you to use one of their preferred vendors for alcohol, which made sense to me and the company we went with was amazing. Nick and Andrew helped me from the beginning. Andrew led me and my husband through a tour of the venue and answered any questions we had. Their communication was excellent and they were always quick to respond. This made the process much more stress free because they were there to help the whole time. The venue also provides chairs and tables for the ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour, which they set up for you on the day of your wedding. I am so thankful we chose this venue for our wedding and managed to secure a date! We were able to achieve our dream wedding within our budget. I can’t recommend this venue enough!

Beautiful Venue, Super Responsive, Outside Vendors Allowed
Incredible venue and incredible people! Super responsive! Thorough in answering all our questions! All-around incredible service. We were nervous about having enough ice and they went ahead and filled a whole cooler with ice for us before our reservation even started! We toured the venue when there was still open construction and I forgot close-toed shoes (required). Andrew (coordinator) even offered for me to borrow a pair of his! Andrew and the other staff are professional and kind! Great to work with!
The venue itself is beautiful and hipster! VERY well taken care of! It has lots of little areas with greenery, trees, rustic barns, and desert cacti -- great for a variety of photos!
The pricing can vary a lot because everything is a-la-carte. There were a few things we had to pay that we weren't expecting, but they all made sense. I didn't get too frustrated because I knew they just had policies they had to follow. And I knew that we were getting a great deal!
Bonus! Chairs and tables are included! And so is their setup! So great! They just charge for linens (but they also put those on for you).
We had a taco man provide the food. It was about $10 per person, + like $50 for an OCFA permit. Going with this kind of venue (one that allows outside vendors) is a GREAT way to stay within your budget. Ours was $10,000 for 150 people and we ended up being under that. Choosing this venue really made that possible!
