I had such a wonderful experience working with Jason in August! His photography skills are truly amazing. I was completely captivated by every image he captured—they perfectly captured the magic and vibe of the wedding ceremony, which had a "Cloud 9" theme. The quality of his work is incredible, and you can really see his attention to detail in each shot. Every photo feels so romantic and elegant, with a lovely softness that I just adore.

My husband and I absolutely cannot recommend Jason Burns highly enough! He is very prompt to respond to emails and set up a phone call with us after just a few email exchanges. He was very easy to talk to on the phone and is very easy going in general. He took our engagement photos in Rancho Palos Verdes (a spot he recommended) and he had several different locations there, making it look like we were in different places! Our engagement photos were used on our save the dates and wedding invitations and we received multiple compliments on both and many people asked who our photographer was!

Fast forward to our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for anything more!!!! He truly is amazing at what he does! We received a sneak peak of our wedding photos less than 12 hours after the wedding ended and the rest of the photos are few weeks later!!

Jason captured the most beautiful photos for our intimate wedding in May. My husband Livio and I didn't have the opportunity to do an engagement session, and our experience in front of the camera is pretty limited, but Jason and his associate Billy made us feel completely comfortable throughout the day. They were able to take the most gorgeous, glamorous shots of us, our family and our venue, right down to the tiniest detail so that we can always remember how beautiful our wedding was. And they were just so FUN to work with, we had a great time that day! I can't thank Jason enough for his professionalism, kindness and amazing photos. I'm so glad that we had the privilege of having him as our photographer.

For our wedding, we knew we wanted a photographer who 1) had a natural style (rather than moody, or light/airy like what is often on Instagram), and 2) easy to work with, since we were planning a SoCal wedding from NorCal. Jason's style speaks for itself on his blog and Instagram. He was highly recommended by our venue (The Hacienda in Santa Ana), as well as a family friend. I knew he would be great to work with and professional, as 1) his pricing was straightforward (on his website), 2) his contract was easy to read (and had a lot of hidden humor!), and 3) his email responses were fast (usually within 24 hours). Both my husband and I do not like being the center of attention, and Jason was so easygoing that we felt less self-conscious in front of the camera. Jason turned around the photos much more quickly that I expected, and gives you free use of all the photos (for FaceBook, making your album, Xmas cards, etc).

I also asked Jason to help us design an album ~9 months after the wedding. Jason did so within days, and also went through 4 iterations with me over the next 2-3 weeks to get it right. He then sent it to print, and it arrived on our doorstep about a week later! I am really thrilled with how it turned out. I've designed photobooks before; each time it takes me 1-2 months just to pick photos and create the layout. I have also had both good and bad experiences with commercial printers (like Shutterfly, VistaPrint). In this case, I am glad I trusted Jason with designing the photo book, uploading the photos, and sending them to a reputable printer that could do these photos justice!

From our initial consultation to reviewing our wedding photos, Jason was amazing. The minute I read the agreement to secure Jason for our wedding, I knew he was the right choice (a lot of humor written in his contract). He had already shot several weddings at our venue, so he knew exactly where to and what to do for the time of year and hour of our wedding. I can't say enough about Jason. He caught aspects of our wedding we missed, which was a pleasant surprise when we looked at our photos. Whether you're LGBT or not, I recommend everyone work with Jason. I hope to work with Jason again for our anniversary photos.

Jason is not only a phenomenal photographer, he is also an amazing person. He was so patient and sweet with the chaos of our families and the goofiness of my husband and I. We knew after our engagement shoot that we had made a great choice choosing Jason as our photographer. For two people who do not consider themselves photogenic, Jason got some great shots of us. His attention to detail is impeccable. Our day was such a whirlwind that I was not able to see a lot of things. It was so nice to get our pictures and see that Jason made the effort to capture every little detail. For that, I am eternally grateful. Your pictures is what you will always have to look back on your big day, make sure you choose a great photographer like Jason to capture it all. You will NOT be disappointed!

There are not enough words to express how truly thankful we are that we found Jason. He was such a pleasure to work with - from our engagement session in Big Bear to our wedding day in Temecula. Jason was so personable, easy to work with, quick to respond to any and all questions/e-mails, and truly so so talented. AND I also have to point out that his turnaround time is incredible - we got our entire wedding gallery 2.5 weeks after our wedding - AMAZING!!! He is so passionate about what he does and it really shows through in his work. His photographs are each a piece of art - from the way he carefully catches the rays of sunshine coming through the trees, to the fleeting and oh so cherished moments of raw emotion from the wedding day. These are memories (and photos) that will now last a lifetime. My sister asked me for my favorite photo and it is impossible for me to pick just 1, because I am so impressed with all of his work! I am so happy that we chose Jason to photograph our wedding. I am honestly a bit sad that our time working with Jason has come to an end, If I could have him photograph every milestone I would! They say a picture is worth a thousand words and boy do my groom and I have a million beautiful words to say about our wedding, thanks to Jason. This is the vendor who I feel as though the photos say more than my words ever could. My husband and I are beyond thankful for the thoughtfulness Jason gifted us with in his ability to dig deep and show the love of two people who hate taking photos.
