A phenomenal wedding photographer!

I had such a wonderful experience working with Jason in August! His photography skills are truly amazing. I was completely captivated by every image he captured—they perfectly captured the magic and vibe of the wedding ceremony, which had a "Cloud 9" theme. The quality of his work is incredible, and you can really see his attention to detail in each shot. Every photo feels so romantic and elegant, with a lovely softness that I just adore.

Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

My husband and I absolutely cannot recommend Jason Burns highly enough! He is very prompt to respond to emails and set up a phone call with us after just a few email exchanges. He was very easy to talk to on the phone and is very easy going in general. He took our engagement photos in Rancho Palos Verdes (a spot he recommended) and he had several different locations there, making it look like we were in different places! Our engagement photos were used on our save the dates and wedding invitations and we received multiple compliments on both and many people asked who our photographer was!

Fast forward to our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for anything more!!!! He truly is amazing at what he does! We received a sneak peak of our wedding photos less than 12 hours after the wedding ended and the rest of the photos are few weeks later!!

I have already referred a few brides to him and I know they will be just as happy as my husband and I are with his work! If you're in need of a wedding photographer, look no farther! Contact Jason immediately, you will be happy you did!

Amazing all around!

Such amazing photos! Great moments captured on our special day. And we got our wedding photos back within 2 weeks after we got married!! So excited about that. Would use again and would recommend !!

The most beautiful wedding photos!

Jason captured the most beautiful photos for our intimate wedding in May. My husband Livio and I didn't have the opportunity to do an engagement session, and our experience in front of the camera is pretty limited, but Jason and his associate Billy made us feel completely comfortable throughout the day. They were able to take the most gorgeous, glamorous shots of us, our family and our venue, right down to the tiniest detail so that we can always remember how beautiful our wedding was. And they were just so FUN to work with, we had a great time that day! I can't thank Jason enough for his professionalism, kindness and amazing photos. I'm so glad that we had the privilege of having him as our photographer.

Many thanks to Jason!

For our wedding, we knew we wanted a photographer who 1) had a natural style (rather than moody, or light/airy like what is often on Instagram), and 2) easy to work with, since we were planning a SoCal wedding from NorCal. Jason's style speaks for itself on his blog and Instagram. He was highly recommended by our venue (The Hacienda in Santa Ana), as well as a family friend. I knew he would be great to work with and professional, as 1) his pricing was straightforward (on his website), 2) his contract was easy to read (and had a lot of hidden humor!), and 3) his email responses were fast (usually within 24 hours). Both my husband and I do not like being the center of attention, and Jason was so easygoing that we felt less self-conscious in front of the camera. Jason turned around the photos much more quickly that I expected, and gives you free use of all the photos (for FaceBook, making your album, Xmas cards, etc).

I also asked Jason to help us design an album ~9 months after the wedding. Jason did so within days, and also went through 4 iterations with me over the next 2-3 weeks to get it right. He then sent it to print, and it arrived on our doorstep about a week later! I am really thrilled with how it turned out. I've designed photobooks before; each time it takes me 1-2 months just to pick photos and create the layout. I have also had both good and bad experiences with commercial printers (like Shutterfly, VistaPrint). In this case, I am glad I trusted Jason with designing the photo book, uploading the photos, and sending them to a reputable printer that could do these photos justice!

From humor to beauty

From our initial consultation to reviewing our wedding photos, Jason was amazing. The minute I read the agreement to secure Jason for our wedding, I knew he was the right choice (a lot of humor written in his contract). He had already shot several weddings at our venue, so he knew exactly where to and what to do for the time of year and hour of our wedding. I can't say enough about Jason. He caught aspects of our wedding we missed, which was a pleasant surprise when we looked at our photos. Whether you're LGBT or not, I recommend everyone work with Jason. I hope to work with Jason again for our anniversary photos.

Amazing!

Jason is not only a phenomenal photographer, he is also an amazing person. He was so patient and sweet with the chaos of our families and the goofiness of my husband and I. We knew after our engagement shoot that we had made a great choice choosing Jason as our photographer. For two people who do not consider themselves photogenic, Jason got some great shots of us. His attention to detail is impeccable. Our day was such a whirlwind that I was not able to see a lot of things. It was so nice to get our pictures and see that Jason made the effort to capture every little detail. For that, I am eternally grateful. Memories to last a lifetime!

There are not enough words to express how truly thankful we are that we found Jason. He was such a pleasure to work with - from our engagement session in Big Bear to our wedding day in Temecula. Jason was so personable, easy to work with, quick to respond to any and all questions/e-mails, and truly so so talented. AND I also have to point out that his turnaround time is incredible - we got our entire wedding gallery 2.5 weeks after our wedding - AMAZING!!! He is so passionate about what he does and it really shows through in his work. His photographs are each a piece of art - from the way he carefully catches the rays of sunshine coming through the trees, to the fleeting and oh so cherished moments of raw emotion from the wedding day. These are memories (and photos) that will now last a lifetime. My sister asked me for my favorite photo and it is impossible for me to pick just 1, because I am so impressed with all of his work! I am so happy that we chose Jason to photograph our wedding. I am honestly a bit sad that our time working with Jason has come to an end, If I could have him photograph every milestone I would! Memories that will last a life time

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and boy do my groom and I have a million beautiful words to say about our wedding, thanks to Jason. This is the vendor who I feel as though the photos say more than my words ever could. My husband and I are beyond thankful for the thoughtfulness Jason gifted us with in his ability to dig deep and show the love of two people who hate taking photos. Jason was absolutely amazing in every way. Our photos are incredible, he was so easy to be around and beyond helpful throughout the whole day. We eloped in Big Sur, so it was only the two of us. Jason and Billy were great in helping us scout photo spots and the ceremony location the day before our ceremony. The day of, they were early (a PLUS), Jason took charge and got the photos he knew we wanted, he helped us move along the timeline to make sure we fit everything in that we wanted to do, and he took the most beautiful photos. We are beyond happy that we chose Jason for our wedding day. He also sent us a sneak peek within a few days and we have gotten our full set of photos back already (only 2 weeks later!). We don't have enough good things to say about Jason. He was relaxed, but professional, easygoing, made us laugh, got all the shots we wanted, and more.

Quality of Service: Jason's photos are second to none. He is a true artist and has an incredible eye for creating stunning photos.

Responsiveness: Jason was always quick to respond to all my texts, emails, and phone calls. He is informative, descriptive, and knowledgeable about his craft.

Professionalism: Jason has that perfect balance between being completely professional and having a relaxing vibe about him. He makes everyone feel completely at ease and is able to capture true emotion in this way.

Value: Jason far exceeded the price we paid. Our experience with him was priceless.

Jason Burns is truly the most amazing wedding and engagement photographer. Jason is an artist. He has a unique, fantastic style which captures couples in nature, which contrasts significantly with more traditional wedding photography where the background is muted out. Jason was the most amazing photographer to work with! Our engagement and wedding photos were beyond fabulous, and I would recommend him to anyone!!! He is very professional and so accommodating. I cry every time I look at our wedding photos, because he truly captured every moment. He even does a slide show for you with music. We hired Jason as our wedding photographer and it was one of the best decision we made. Jason was extremely easy to work with and is extremely talented. He made us feel comfortable while taking our engagement photos and everything turned out great. We just got our wedding photographs back and they were amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer. The amount of value Jason provides is amazing. We plan on using him for more events in the future.

I attended a wedding a couple years ago that Jason shot and I was so impresssed by their results that when it came time for my wedding he was the first person I thought of. We still did extensive research but ended up going with Jason and I'm so happy we did! He is incredibly responsive, talented, reliable, and so nice! Everyone has been raving about our pictures.

We did the 8 hour package with a second shooter and it was TOTALLY worth every penny. They worked so well together and complimented each other perfectly. Can't say enough great things!!

We truly can’t say enough great things about Jason Burns Wedding Photography! Jason shot our wedding day and he was so fun to work with. Honestly… he was amazing!!! It’s never easy to have a camera following you around, but he made it so easy, and the photos show that. They captured the natural little candid moments throughout the day. I can truly look back at the photos and relive those special memories that happened in those moments, which is something that can’t always be said for wedding photos. I definitely recommend Jason Burns a million times over, and truly wish we could go back and do it again. I haven’t stopped looking at our photos, I absolutely LOVED THEM!!! I’m thrilled that we have such beautiful shots to remember the best weekend of our lives :) I’m so glad we made the right choice in photography and that he was able to share our big day!

Let me start by telling you that you would be making a HUGE mistake if you don't use Jason as your photographer for your special occasion! We used him for our engagement shoots (yes we did 2) and our wedding. We cant nearly capture our gratefulness and thankfulness for Jason but we are going to try to in our review.

We chose Jason as he did an amazing job at our brothers wedding. He was never in the way and the photos came out awesome. We got in contact with him on a holiday and he emailed us back 10 minutes later and signed with him the next day.

We did our first engagement shoot in Newport and Jason had clearly done research and planned spots in advance. Jason was really easy going and we both felt really comfortable being ourselves with him and didn't feel "awkward" like some photographers can make you feel. The shoot went great! He put a couple photos up on social media that night and we got our photos about a week to a week and a half later. We loved the photos so much we ended up wanting to do a second engagement shoot at our university we met at as it was special to us.

A few weeks before the wedding Jason gave us a timeline of when he would be shooting each of us and what to have ready when which helped keep us on schedule. Day of the wedding, Jason showed up early and checked out the venue. During the ceremony, we never really saw Jason and he was really respectful of the guests during the ceremony (wasn't a distraction). Took great care of us and made sure to get all the photos we wanted. Jason has a really great eye for spots we would have never thought of! He also stuck around until the end!

Took 2 weeks to get our photos after the wedding. He even sent us a little gift box after with prints from our wedding and a flash drive with all our photos. He is one of the best photographers in the OC! We can not thank him enough for all of his hard work and care to make our day so special and memorable! Will be using him again in the future!

Jason is the best wedding photographer in the business! I was lucky to meet Jason a few years ago as a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding. I saw the way he made my best friend's day so special and how beautifully he captured it through photos and I KNEW I had to have him part of my Big Day as well. Jason is easy to work with, super responsive and incredibly creative. From our engagement photo session all the way up to our wedding day, he made sure that our photos were unique, special and perfectly "us". Jason also helped take the stress out of the wedding day. He and his assistant Casey orchestrated our family photos like a choreographed dance- it was AMAZING! They made everyone feel so comfortable and kept people where they needed to be in order to stay within the wedding day timeline. His pictures captured every detail of our special day and he went the extra mile to make sure that we got some once in a lifetime shots. To say that Jason and his assistant went the "extra mile" is an understatement- they went the "extra 100 miles" to make our photos perfect. My husband and I love our engagement and wedding photos and can't wait to share them with the rest of our family and friends!

Jason Burns and staff at jasonburnsphotography.com provided exceptional service for our November 2015 wedding in Temecula, CA. We met Jason a year ago when he visited us in San Francisco for our engagement shoot. We immediately felt comfortable with Jason - on and off the camera. My wife and I were so impressed with his level of professionalism - incredibly courteous, knowledgable, and down to earth. He takes the time to get to know you as a couple. The result was a depiction of my wife and I at our best (we also love to dance and were so impressed at how well these action photos turned out!)

We asked for Jason to recommend a videographer and couldn’t have been happier - they had a great synergy, neither got in each other's way and that was apparent from both the quality of our pictures and videos. The extra photographer Jennifer Korbin was equally kind, professional, and helpful during the wedding. Throughout the night Jason, the extra photographer and videographer were a professional, coordinated team.

Also, Jason took the time to make sure we got the package that met all our needs (we got the engagement album, wedding album, digital archive, and extra photographer), and delivered us our albums and assets before Christmas and the New Years - which, our family really got a kick out of over the holidays.

Lastly, Jason is really humble and isn’t one to talk up his past experience as an artist in the entertainment industry, but this artistry really shines through. Over the course of our wedding night, Jason captured so many little moments - things that may seem common for a wedding but through his creative lens seemed to come alive. These moments he captured with his artistry are the intangibles that distinguish Jason and his team and that money simply cannot buy.

We weren't provided any discount for this review, we honestly were just so happy with the value and result of our photos that we can't recommend Jason and his production team enough.

Jason is absolutely amazing!! He exceeded our expectations and does not disappoint. His work is beautiful and I knew we had to have him as our photographer after seeing his blog. Jason is so nice and easy to get along with. If you're not used to taking professional pictures, it can feel a bit awkward, but during our engagement session Jason put us at ease and gave us tips on how to pose, which made it even easier as the day went on. We had our engagement session in Lake Arrowhead and our wedding had a winter theme and he even helped us look for pinecones! Jason is relaxed and sweet, and also very professional. His response time is unbelievable. We would call or email him and hear back from him almost within the hour or by the end of the day. On our wedding day, Jason and his assistant were early. Jason is very attentive and notices the smallest details. He helped my husband pin his boutonniere correctly and would let me know when my hair was out of place during pictures. My friends and family also commented on how nice he was and how he made the pictures a breeze. When we booked our wedding venue, I was worried about pictures because the venue didn't offer the most scenic views, but we were blown away by Jason's pictures. He can make anything and anywhere look breathtaking, he is so talented. We have received so many compliments on our engagement and wedding pictures. We're so happy we chose him as our photographer and would choose him again. We're so grateful we have these pictures to look at to remember our special day. We hope we can work with Jason again in the future. To make a long review short, choose Jason. :)

-On a day that happens only once, he was the right choice. Recommended to us by friends we trust, from their wedding.

Jason is absolutely amazing! He photographed our engagement pictures and wedding in March and we are beyond satisfied. He was very professional throughout the entire process and was flexible with meeting times/location. He arrived at the venue on time (actually early) and didn't waste any time. Jason photographed my cousin's wedding a few years ago and I knew that when it came time for my own wedding I wanted him to be our photographer too. He came highly recommended by my cousin, and I would recommend his services in a heartbeat as well. One of the things I was personally worried about with getting married was being photographed. As just an average everyday person I don't have much experience being professionally photographed but Jason made me feel so comfortable and at ease both during our engagement shoot and at our wedding. He is so friendly and calming and an absolute pleasure to work with. Correspondence was always quick and extremely professional.

As for the photos: If you look at Jason's blog and social media accounts I truly think his work speaks for itself but I will still say it - we just received our photos back from our wedding and they are absolutely stunning. Our engagement photos were equally as lovely and gave us a great opportunity to get to know Jason and feel comfortable before the wedding day. Like I said above, we are just average everyday people but when I look at our photos I honestly feel as if we could be in a wedding magazine. Before our wedding I looked at a lot of photos of other weddings that took place at our venue but one thing I love about our photos is that they are extremely unique in comparison. Jason has such a creative eye and vision and as a result our photos are truly one of a kind. Jason has such talent to be able to see what will produce the best outcome based on the lighting/conditions of the day. Our wedding took place during the day on a very warm day but I was never squinting etc.

Family and friends kept raving to me after about his professionalism and how beautiful the photos are. To other couples who are thinking of hiring Jason for their special day - my advice is do not even think twice and just do it. We are so incredibly happy with our entire experience of working with Jason.

I truly cannot say enough about Jason. He is amazing and incredibly reasonable. I was referred to him by a friend of mine who used him for her wedding and I am so glad I didn't think and just booked. His packages are super reasonable and built for everyone. We chose a package that included an engagement session. He came to us and was patient the whole time. We got our pictures back SUPER FAST and were pleased with every single one! On our wedding day he went to our venue early with a second photographer (also amazing!) Jason stays with you the whole time and some how manages to capture the little details and the feel of the whole day and you hardly realize hes there. He was so thorough and asked ahead of time what specific pictures we desired as well as what the plan was to keep in time with the whole day. He even did a day after shoot with us and we LOVED them even more than the wedding! If that is even possible! My husband and I want to have him do all our pictures. If only he was available for school picture days! You wont find a better deal for the professional and irreplaceable photos you'll get. Bottom line, you wont look so over filtered like other amateurs. He uses his talent and the environment to make you look your best without taking away anything in the process. Totally worth it. Start to finish!

Our day would not have been the same without Jason. He was absolutely incredible and everyone who saw our wedding photos comments on how unbelievably stunning they are. He is more than just a photographer, he is an artist. Some of our photos are so beautifully set that I would hang them on our wall even if we weren't in them! He got shots of everything but my family kept commenting on how he was invisible- everywhere he needed to be in that moment, but never in the way. We have shot with Jason several times now and we absolutely love him as a photographer and a person. To me, personality is very important because you want to be comfortable with the person taking pictures of you otherwise you will feel and look tense. Jason is so kind and thoughtful and unbelievably talented. He can't be beat- you will not be disappointed!

I would give 500 stars if possible.. AMAZING doesn't even begin to describe our photographs and whole experience with Jason!!! He is an unbelievably talented photographer! After our quick initial meeting, we first met him in Palm Springs for our engagement session. Palm Springs is kind of a special place for us so we were grateful that he would drive all the way out there to do it. He got some incredible shots with the windmills and all of these cool textured backgrounds which I love. After receiving these we knew we made the right choice.

Then came the wedding... from the moment Jason got there him and his team were going above and beyond. In addition to being there to photograph getting ready Jason was also extremely helpful with little things like how to button something correctly. I was so appreciative. I imagine since he's done so many weddings he's got this stuff down.. All day Jason and his team captured what they needed to, but you barely realized they were even there. He knew just where to go for the best light and creative angles we just trusted and followed. Our photos came out INCREDIBLE!!! They are all so gorgeous!! I have had complete strangers, who somehow saw a shared photo.. or people I work with but never spoke to who saw the photo that they sent out, seek me out to and tell me how beautiful our pictures are. There are always two words that every single person has said.. beautiful and stunning. Words honestly cannot even describe how incredible they are. Our families have just been blown away. We can't pick favorites to print because there are just too many great ones!!! Jason is worth about 100x more than what he charges. I have been recommending him to everyone I know who's getting married.. and even strangers! Not only are people commenting on how talented Jason is, but also how nice he is. He is super nice and friendly! We cannot recommend Jason enough. Jason, thank you so so very much for everything. Our photos are absolutely perfect!

Jason has an amazing eye for beautiful shots. The picture he took of the engagement ring and the 2 wedding rings was so clever and artfully done. He is very easy to work with and I felt instantly comfortable during the shoots. I feel a little guilty that I had such a quality photographer at the price he gave us. Everything from the engagement photos, to his timeline suggestion (after I had asked him for one) for the wedding, to the actual event, he was very organized, punctual, professional and kind. He even pinned my husband's boutonniere on! My wedding was better in every way because of Jason and his team.

Jason Burns came highly recommended, and I must say that he lived up to his reputation and far exceeded it. I actually used him for my proposal at a private Malibu beach. Needless to say, my main concern was to hire a photographer that understood the predicament in my situation. I need someone that would operate sort of like a paparazzi, given the element of surprise. Jason Burns thoroughly understood his responsibility.

When my and my now fiancee arrived at the private beach, she had no idea that Jason was actually photographing our event as a keep sake memory. He had a high power lens that would allow him to capture the intimacy of the movement from a distance. After I popped the question, he captured amazing pictures of us that we are now using as engagement photos for our wedding invitations.

Jason was able to capture the love, surprise and enjoyment on my fiancees face. I can't find the words to explain how professional and uniquely gifted Jason is. I would recommend Jason to anyone who is currently in the search for a gifted, understanding and customer driven photographer.

I am beyond thankful that we found Jason for our wedding photographer... A friend of ours had been following him on Facebook for over a year when she found out that I was on the hunt for a photographer, she recommended him to us by saying "All of the pictures are absolutely stunning, his creative eye is just remarkable!"

He was the first and only photographer I had ever met with because I was just in love with his work after checking him out online on several sites and then meeting with him in person. Jason is the sweetest guy and its obvious he loves what he does because every wedding just has its own uniqueness about it... always different poses & creative shots that make you wonder how he even caught that or thought hey that would make a beautiful photo... His talent will amaze you!!

What I loved most about his packages, is that he offers an engagement session before the wedding so he can get to know the couples he works with better and just make everyone feel much more comfortable come the big day. Our engagement photos were so much fun and absolutely gorgeous. I feel lucky to have photos from two different sessions with Jason, I treasure both so much!!!

You can depend on Jason 110% to be everything you hoped for in your wedding photographer. We had a little hiccup in the schedule on the day of our wedding, making us feel a bit rushed to beat the sunset but Jason was so on top of it. He captured everything I wanted and more... A friend of mine recommended Jason to me after our first photographer disappeared on us. He was already booked for the day of the wedding but luckily the other couple decided to get married on the east coast. I am SO thankful they did. I could not have imagined anyone else as our photographer. My husband and I are kind of shy and we felt the whole engagement and wedding photos were going to be awkward, but Jason is so nice and friendly and such a professional he helped us to relax and enjoy ourselves. We were so blown away when we got our engagement photos back (which came free with our wedding package!) I don't even know how he made us look so good!

With our engagement photos being so spectacular I could not wait to see how our wedding photos came out either! I even decided that I wanted a second photographer and 2 additional hours with him kind of last minute and he set it up right away with no problems. And again he blew us away. He is so quick on getting the pictures back to you and he sent us over 1,000!! They are all stunning.

Our package came with some prints which were sent to me within a couple of days of choosing them. We also are getting a photo album which I have been working with him on and should receive shortly.

I would recommend him to anyone I can, and have, he is photographing our Best Man's wedding also!

It was an honor to work with Jason Burns for our engagement and wedding photography! After looking over 21 different photographers in varied prices we ended up choosing Jason Burns. I was blown away with his images, creative eye and his affordability. Being a graphic designer I know right away when I see images I could design with. So I knew that he was our guy. It also didn’t hurt that he was within our price range, which I was very surprised by given the sophistication of his images.

Jason is such a down to earth and easy going kind of guy. He makes you feel at ease and helps you to have fun through the whole picture process.

If I can suggest anything to any future bride it would be to have a good idea of everything you want captured. I had a D.I.Y. wedding and did basically everything and was spread so thin that I missed some things. Some of the shots I didn’t get I wished I would have remembered to voice before hand.

I never got a picture with my pastor or uncle who's like a grandfather to me. I also thought that it was pretty standard that a photographer would take table shots of all the guests. Not candids but actual shots of everyone smiling at the camera so you get a representation of all of your guests. We didn’t get those either, nor did we get them of our family tables so we were bummed about that as well.

Some of the detailed shots of the reception I didn't get either like the table numbers, my save the dates, invitations, guest book, these were things I created and wanted documented beautifully too.

I really was blown away with his creativity, artistry and style of his bride and groom shots. That's why we chose him and that’s what you look for, but be sure if there are other shots that are just important to voice those beforehand. You can’t redo that day and everything is so scheduled that you won’t be thinking of everything. You’re so caught up in the moment and enjoying it all. But if you voice all of your concerns, wants and desires beforehand Jason will get it all. Unfortunately hindsight is always 20/20.

There’s not much I can say that hasn’t already been said, but I’ll add to the chorus… Jason Burns Photography is simply fantastic! Worth every penny we spent (we did a Short & Sweet package)—but also very reasonably priced, especially considering the beautiful, high-quality photos you’ll have for the rest of your life! Jason and his assistant were wonderful to work with from day one—his easygoing, pleasant demeanor and total professionalism kept things relaxed and moving along easily on the big day.

I got married at the Disneyland Hotel in July 2013. Disney had given me a list of suggested photographers when I booked the venue, but their recommendations were all priced far above my range. That, and their styles were not really in sync with my own, and my vision for the day. So I did a Google search for photographers here in SoCal who have previously photographed Disney weddings…and that’s how I found Jason Burns.

I loved the Disney weddings he had shot in years past (Disney even uses some of his photos in their one-on-one client sessions), but more than that, I loved his photography style. He makes wonderful use of the ambient light—in our case, everything looked bright and wonderfully Technicolor! His style also captures the colors of your special day—mine were bright, vivid turquoise, red, and purple, and they came out beautifully in the photos. I highly recommend looking through his portfolio; what you see there is an excellent representation of the kinds of pictures you’ll get from him.

From our engagement session to the big day itself, Jason Burns Photography was absolutely the right choice for capturing the memories that will last us a lifetime! Thank you again, so very much!

Words cannot express how much I love Jason and the photographs he took of both our engagement session and of our wedding day. I am someone who rarely sees a picture of myself that I truly like and approve of. Well Jason must have some special magic, because I LOVE all of the images he took of us (me included in them!), and lucky for me these are my wedding pics and I get to treasure them forever. :-)

Jason is really great at making you comfortable in front of the camera. In fact, he's more like a cool, funny, honest friend, that just wants to bring out the best in you and capture your prettiest/handsomest self and truest emotion. You seriously forget that he has that camera attached to him! He also found some REALLY cool locations for our photo shoots (engagement session and wedding day), and I love how they represent who we are as a couple - slightly off the beaten path. ;-)

Jason (and Jennifer!) gave us beautiful photos that perfectly captured the events of our happiest day. I am honestly a little sad that our work with him has finished!

BTW - I probably shouldn't say this, but we would have happily paid DOUBLE for the service, experience, and product Jason gave us. Honestly!!

Every bride goes through the same stresses. What photographer should i use? How much can i afford? Can i trust this person? What if they screw up!?!??!?! I can tell you right now, the BEST decision i made (next to marrying my best friend) was going with Jason Burns as my photographer for my wedding.

He was simply OUTSTANDING. He was punctual, professional, polite, and knowledgable. Friends who were at my wedding were so impressed with the photos, several of them have already commissioned him to work on theirs. He is someone that i would recommend to anyone. I loved my photos. The editing was so flattering, the lighting was soft and romantic--it was EXACTLY what i wanted. If you have any doubts look at his website and meet with him. But honestly rest assured. If you go with Jason...you will NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR PHOTOS-- AT ALL!

On my wedding day when my make up artist was late, the chair rental company was 2.5 hours late, the only thing going right was Jason! Jason was EARLY! Getting all the shots setting things up. Not getting in the way, and yet he captured all my amazing moments. Also, communicating with Jason throughout the whole engagement period was a breeze. Unlike many people who never (or took forever) to get back to my emails, Jason was soooooo quick to respond. His turn over on the photos was fast too. In addition to all of that, his prices are extremely fair and he knows it. He could raise his prices (he has been doing this for over 7 years) but he doesn't. Because he loves his job, and he likes to stay busy. In the crazy world of weddings, where it seems like everyone is just after your money, it's refreshing to meet people like Jason. A genuinely talented man, who captured my wedding day perfectly!

I was lucky enough to see Jason in action at my dear friend's weddng. He was SO personable and professional. Jason Burns is the most professional, creative, and personable photographer I have ever worked with. He is worth every penny, and my husband and I are forever customers of his.

Jason is an amazing person to work with. We hired him to take our engagement and wedding pictures and he was the best. The quality of his work is awesome and very unique. We feel very happy we hired him to take or wedding pictures and for sure we will hire him again for all of our special events. He also gave us our wedding pictures very fast (in one week). Jason is amazing. He not only takes beautiful pictures but is extremely easy going and great to work with. He is a true artist and really captured our whole day. I would recommended him to anyone. I can't wait to use him as a photographer again!

Jason was amazing all of the categories mentioned above. He was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the process. He was very timely in terms of receiving photos back (within 2 weeks) and did a great job! His assistant was very helpful and did an amazing job throughout the day. Jason was such an amazing photographer to work with. From our engagement photos at Huntington Beach where we met to our wedding photos in Laguna Beach and Newport, he made us feel special and happy and we completely forgot ourselves in the moment and just had a blast! Jason was amazing! We can't say enough great things about him and his pictures definitely speak for themselves. Jason had never been to our venue location so he went there the week before to scope out different spots for our pictures. On the day of, he was prepared and knew exactly where to take the best pictures. We are pretty laid back so we wanted a great photographer who knew what he was doing so he could take charge and just tell us what to do. I'm so happy we trusted his artistic eye! He was so professional throughout the whole process and he went above and beyond our expectations. He would always respond to my emails promptly, either the day of or the next day. He also took the time to make an individualized cd cover with our pictures printed on it and wrapped it! Even after we received the cd with our pictures, he was happy to do me a favor and tweak one of my pictures. We really lucked out with how affordable he was too because we were working with a pretty tight budget. We have received so many compliments on our wedding pictures and we are so happy with the way they turned out.

Jason is an amazing photographer! He caught every essential moment and pictures we wanted for both our engagement and wedding. We could not have trusted another photographer with such a special and unforgettable day he is above #1 as a photographer for any special occasion and he is the only one I recommend! And I am not over exaggerating I was somewhat of a bridezilla so this was something that could not be messed up. There was one chance and one chance only, there are no regales of your wedding, and when I saw jason's work and he blew me away with our engagement photos I was nothing but excited and very comfortable with what the outcome of our wedding would be. He caught every amazing moment perfectly! I still get choked up and tear up when we look at them one a slideshow, he did such an outstanding job that I kid you not, I still get chills when I see the picture of my husband giving me a kiss on my neck as we dance to our first song, it's like I can feel that moment all over again:) trust me future brides you WILL be making an outstanding and amazing choice with Jason:).

Jason Burns and his photography team are PHENOMENAL!!! Jason is very responsive, professional and accomadating. I even referred him to a friend before we even did our engagement photos with him. Our number one priority for our wedding was to have great photos and I can say that Jason has fullfilled our wish above and beyond. Jason truly captured our personality in every shot he took. He is truly a master of his art! I have gotten so many comments from friends and family about how great our pictures came out, and the great comments are still flowing two weeks after our wedding. Jason Burns is the coolest wedding photographer in Southern California. He is so considerate and understanding. We were running late for our engagement session and he did not mind waiting nor did he complain.

We had a fun time in all of our sessions with Jason. He and his assistant Kelley, take wonderful and amazing pictures.

After the wedding, Jason follows up with you and lets you know the progress of the wedding pictures.

Jason and his staff are so great! We found Jason on weddingwire.com and felt very comfortable with him after meeting him. His photographs are flawless, and beautiful. He is so prompt at getting your pictures back, as well as answering any questions and concerns. He truly wants to make the client happy, and does such a great job for such a reasonable fee. We are from Las Vegas and got marry in Temecula, CA. When I found Jason, I felt like the luckiest person in the world. It was very easy to communicate with him through email. When we met to do the engagement pictures in Laguna Beach, we were so happy because he was very easygoing and we felt very comfortable. We received lots of complements from the save the date cards. Then my guest book was to dream of. The wedding was great, he caught so many special details and the photos are wonderful. We still working with him on our latest photos and everything is wonderful. Jason was amazing to work with. I was an out-of-town bride and did not have much face-to-face time with Jason to plan out all the details. Instead we conversed through email, and I gave Jason a few places we wanted to shoot the bridal party photos and the times. Jason was right on mark and very professional, not dull, boring or even creepy. He has a great personality, a great eye, and is easy to work with because he wasn't too demanding or giving out too many directions. His style is more like catching the natural moment and not setting up too many posses. He creates the environments and lets the couple do their own thing while he snaps the pictures. This makes very natural journalistic looking photos that tell more of a story about the day than standing, posing and smiling at the camera. He never stopped working either. I offered him dinner several times, but he was constantly doing something. Lastly, he gets awesome sunset pictures. I love ours so much!

I also love the fact that he shoots real brides and displays these brides on his website to market himself. Other companies/photographers show how good they are by posting model-like type couples. Jason makes real women look even more beautiful on their big day. I was very self conscious about getting my photo taken for the whole day, but after looking at his work, I saw that he loves to show brides who are enjoying themselves and basking in the moment of their big day. Jason knows his angles and makes couples look good.

When it came to photo turn-around, we got our first peek at the digitals within the first week while we were on our honeymoon on his blog. The rest of the photos were ready 3 weeks. We opted for just the disc which is why the turn-around was so fast.

If I had to do it again, I'd pick Jason. I know once we start to have a family I'l be calling on him to do our family photos. As I see it, he's our photographer for each stage in our growing lives.

My wife and I chose decided to meet Jason after we saw all the impressive reviews about his work as a wedding photographer. The reviews are all true. We decided to choose him right after we met him for the first time. His personality and his beautiful work convinced us. Everything went smoothly and perfectly. We had a fantatic time during the engagement and wedding session (last Dec.). We felt confortable relaxed in front of Jason. He is very professional, fun, passionate about his work, he has awesome picture ideas, he is patient, opened to any suggestion and he is always available for you. Above all, he makes you look fantastic!
Last but not least, he is extremely affordable. We couldn't believe that he spent so many hours editing the pictures! He also sent us a beautiful guest book that impressed all our guests... Jason never looks at the clock, he just wants to get the best shots.

I'd hire Jason again and again and again. I met him in Nov 09 and booked him he did our engagement session on a cloudy day in Laguna and got so many beautiful shots. On our wedding day 9-19-10 he was early and brought his assistant Kellie who I just adored she was such a pleasure to have there with us. Jason is amazing to work with he's so much fun, makes you totally comfortable. I had an extremly large wedding party of 22 he worked so well with my wild bunch of friends and family. Honestly, I wish I could rate him higher. Jason was/is an awesome photographer. After he did our engagement photos we knew he was going to be an awesome photographer. There is never a moment when Jason has to stop and think about what picture to get next. You can tell right away that he has an amazing eye for photography and takes awesome photos. At the wedding, everyone told us later that they hardly noticed there was a photographer there because he was able to capture all of the moments while still staying out of the way of the fun. He captured every moment perfectly. Jason went above and beyond in every way he could. From taking a little extra time during the engagement photos, to working with us in the time and number of people for the wedding, he was very willing to help. Also, he had the pictures proofed, edited (he added a sunset to our silhouette photo on a cloudy day because it is what we wanted), and online for us to review within days of the engagement shoot/wedding.

There is seriously not enough words to explain how much we recommend Jason. We are convincing everyone we know to get married just to use him as the photographer.

Jason Burns did my weddign photos at the Disneyland Hotel and he was amazing. He worked with me throughout my engagement (also doing those photos) up until the wedding on the shots and styles I wanted and he really came through!

He captured everything I wanted and provided the digital images within a week of the wedding! There was even a preview of them on his blog the day after the wedding!!

The prices are great and also included prints and a book along with his actual services. He was very friendly and professional throughout the entire proccess and I would recommend him to any bride!

Quality of service was exceptional. Jason was very polite, but yet made sure he was doing his job. His detail, unbelievable. Product of serivce, amazing! Couldn't have asked for a more professional, yet very friendly, I could really tell Jason loves his job, its not just a job for him. Can't beat the price, he's worth 10x what he charges. When people say I want the wow in my pictures, I have the wow. My honeymoon was alright, but coming home to those picture made it all worth it.

Jason Burns is amazing. He is very detailed and gets great shots! I was very pleased with his work and he went over and beyond for us, with an awesome price. He even did prints when we didn't ask.

As the mother of the groom, and at a time that I am attending many weddings of sons/daughters of good friends, I have to say our pictures are far superior then all the others I saw.
I must admit we had the perfect weather and venue but what Jason and his team did is amazing and that is why our pictures are so special.
Thanks you Jason Burns Photography for giving us beautiful memories to last a life time.

Jason Burns did a fantastic job – I don’t think the pictures could be any better!
He's just amazing and price is so nice as well.
I definately wanna work with him in my future!

Jason Burns conducted both our Engagement and Wedding photos. We were very happy with the final photos that came out of both occassions. The turnaround on the photos was very quick and the quality was second to none.

The team that Jason brought the day of the wedding was top notch. Each provided a very specific skill to the overall production of what turned out to be a flawless day.

Jason's prices were very competitive with all of the other we compared in advance. We are very pleased that we made the decision to use Jason Burns. We would definitely suggest other couples to use this service.
