Wedding Venues in Dana Point

We had a wonderful experience with the Laguna Cliffs Marriott and can't thank Sandy Chiu, Amanda Schirm, and Marissa Heredia enough. They're all very professional and our main contact, Amanda, is an incredibly caring and attentive individual. She responded to emails quickly and thoroughly, and was very patient dealing with a bunch of questions and requests. The staff setting up the reception was also very professional and went out of their way to check in on us throughout the night. Our event lasted a couple of days as we were there for a holiday weekend. The rest of the Marriott staff would congratulate us when we were at lunch/other times they'd see us around the hotel (they even comp'd my lunch!). They're wonderful people at this hotel and we can't recommend them enough. The venue was beautiful -- a stunning night overlooking the water. We were lucky to have had perfect weather that day as the heat wave had subsided and there was no wind on the outdoor Vue Lawn. We were very worried about the weather leading up to the event, so definitely keep this in mind if you're planning an outdoor event. Overall, thank you, Laguna Cliffs. We had the most wonderful and memorable weekend and much of it is thanks to you.

Sanya and her team were truly incredible! She was very attentive and flexible throughout the entire planning process and our wedding day was executed flawlessly. their vendors were all very good and we highly recommend them. It was definitely worth every single penny! Thank you VIP Team for making our dreams come true!!

I just got married here a few days ago and had an amazing time. Melissa helped us coordinate the entire day and was very timely in all her responses throughout the planning process. The views are spectacular and the food was superb. I would highly recommend this venue for weddings.

We used this hotel to stay in the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding. It was perfect! It was so beautiful and has a great view! Also, I recommend the roof bar if you are looking for an evening drink! Also the resturaunt in the lobby is to DIE for! The only downside is the 22 dollars a night just to park! That is on top of a 250$/ night!

The venue and the team were amazing! The location is beautiful and the food was great. The team had great vendor recommendations which made planning very easy. The event went off exactly as we hoped.

I could not have asked for a better venue for my wedding reception!! It was beautiful and the staff were amazing! Highly recommend this place as a venue for your wedding. Just perfect!

I would put this venue up against nearly any venue in the country. Their service, professionalism, beauty, food, and entire grounds are the best in the world. I have been to a significant number of excellent hotels/resorts and this place is at the top of my list. They also were extremely easy to work with from a wedding preparation standpoint. Marissa was our point of contact at the St Regis and she was nothing but professional, courteous, accommodating, and an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire wedding process. They provided excellent service to us and our guests from check in to check out. The rooms were perfect. Our guests constantly raved about the location and the events. You have many options for great wedding venues in Orange County but this is one place I can guarantee will outperform your expectations. I recommend this venue without reservation.

Everyone had a great time at our Rehearsal Dinner at still water. The food was phenomenal and the service was quick and professional. I wouldn't have had our rehearsal dinner anywhere else.

I would highly recommend this place. We had a great experience here and have only good things to say about Michele, the organizer. Waterman's Harbor was a great venue for a rehearsal dinner. It accommodated 34 people very well. The entire experience was great. People loved the food which was a good value. The venue itself was fun with great experience on the water. The restaurant itself was relatively new when we booked the event. Michele, the coordinator, did a great job of making everything run smoothly despite it being pretty new. This was by far the easiest part of our wedding to organize. A big thanks to Michele. The only point of constructive feedback that I have is that it should include a microphone for an event like this. We got around this by speaking loudly, but I would have taken action to solve this ahead of time if I were to do it over. Even a portable speaker would have been okay if the restaurant isn't able to set it up for some reason.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner/welcome party the night before our wedding here. We knew the views would be perfect and the ambiance fantastic, but Steve and his family truly went above and beyond to make the night special. The food was delicious, and all of our guests complimented every detail about the night. We can't recommend Proud Mary's enough, and we look forward to visiting again! Thank you, Steve!
