Wedding Venues in Orange

This venue had everything i hoped for an more. The location was prime, near aiports as my family was traveling from far. The food was amazing, they also included a hosted bar for 1 hour Free. Everything i asked for an then some. Thanks Laura

Our wedding experience through the Chapel of Orange (thanks to Melissa & Cheryl) from our very first consult visit through to its conclusion was enjoyable, positively memorable, and most importantly - SO EASY!!! Initially, my wife and I didn’t believe we would be able to locate a wedding venue to move forward with our vision for an intimate and whimsical wedding aesthetic. So much so that we were a hair trigger away from eloping. Thankfully, as a final measure, we decided to create a checklist of required items that a wedding venue had to have for us to consider moving forward with a wedding including but not limited to; 1) an organic set of barebones / overall aesthetic that would pair well with a playful and lighthearted whimsical evening themed wedding aesthetic that in no way resembled the typical cookie cutter wedding 2) efficiently organized with strong vendor relations and/or recommendations, and 3) cost effective in the context of a smaller guest list of about 70. From the thoughtfully salvaged bricks from a to-be torn down structure in Europe that made up the archways of the reception area to the beautiful garden area rich with lush plants flowers nestled cozily between the ceremony and reception areas, the Chapel of Orange had checked off every box we had without us having to compromise. The well oiled machine that was Melissa and Cheryl far fostered a positive wedding planning experience as they handled EVERYTHING in such an unflappable manner. In addition to coordinating and scheduling design appointments, Melissa coordinated the vendors running their part correctly from the florist, to the videographer, to the Photo Booth, to the DJ, to the caterer, to the cake designer, and all the way down the list to the highly talented photographer Ashley Paige. Melissa also gave us a month by month wedding checklist to follow along to at the very start which made the ongoing planning process easy to follow while also simultaneously reducing any wedding related anxiety stemming from the feeling that we had forgotten some important detail along the way. Melissa’s incredibly consistent and reliable communication as well as clear direction cut any unnecessary internal and external noise that went into the wedding process. Dates for big decisions such as our food tasting, table design, and final rehearsal were planned well in advance, allowing us to do nothing more than be present and direct the final decisions. Additionally, Melissa facilitated for the florist consult date and the DJ online phone meeting to verify lighting and song choices. The day of rehearsal, we dropped off all our supplemental DIY designs for our themed wedding and Melissa handled the rest of set-up. The day of the wedding was smooth like butter; Melissa had… 1) our parking spaces reserved with bright orange cones for us as well members of the wedding party, 2) boutonnieres ready and pinned members of the wedding party as they arrived 3) both the groom and bride’s prep rooms staged and ready to go, 4) and all vendors on standby and ready for instruction. I have no doubt that Melissa handled so many more fires behind the scenes as my wife and I didn’t have a single hiccup or moment where we had to step away to address a concern. It was marvelous, and the best day of our lives. TLDR: The Chapel of Orange runs like a well cared for and harmonious machine headed by Melissa and Cheryl. At each step of the way, they took the feedback we had the day of our wedding, executed the upper limit of potential we had for our whimsical garden wedding.

We're glad we went with this venue overall- it was great for what we wanted, which was a backyard-style wedding with a garden type of aesthetic. It was a little hard to communicate with them in the beginning but that changed when we were closer to the wedding date. They also changed ownership during that time so that might have something to do with it. Our coordinator, Alyssa, was wonderful! Once we were put in touch with her, things went really smoothly. They were flexible with the setup- for instance, we wanted to do the ceremony in the backyard to limit street noise, and it wasn't a problem. Their microphones/sound system could be a bit louder- it was sometimes hard to hear people. We appreciated that they were able to hire a bartender and service staff as well as handle the linens- it was helpful to have some of those options taken off our hands! The rooms for getting ready were great, and of course the venue overall is very pretty and charming! We love our photos- overall, this venue was a great pick for us!

Great officiant. Very well organized. Arrived well ahead of schedule and was prepared. Included items in our package was as promised but actually exceeded expectations. Great value for your hard earned money.

Everything was absolutely perfect. All of my guests couldn't stop talking a out how delicious the food was and how friendly the staff was. It was a great experience

We are so grateful for Laurie and the whole team at Fletcher Courtyards! We had a super short timeline and they were able to be flexible with our crazy schedules. Laurie helped us every step of the way with expert guidance and suggestions. They offer an in-house wedding coordinator which is super helpful! The day of our wedding Laurie was on top of everything that needed to be in place including our vendors. The whole team went above and beyond to make our dreams of our special day come true! The venue is a beautiful space with great places inside the home and outside for photos! If you’re looking for a great venue with a team who really cares Fletcher Courtyards is the place to go!

Working with the owner, Tim, made choosing The Villa by Villa Park Catering an easy decision for our Jan. 2017 wedding. I highly recommend this venue for any bride (or any party-planner for that matter) who wants a stress-free event that is beautifully decorated with food your guests will be sure to enjoy. We met with Tim many times to secure the perfect package (with awesome selections) for our wedding. His prices are great for the peace of mind you get with working with him. Tim took care of the cake, food, bar, the atmosphere, the table/chair/linen set-up and take down, and much more. There were never any surprise charges and he was very transparent about what was and was not available or permitted. He allowed us to enter the day before to set up since there wasn't another party booked the Friday before our wedding. The space was very clean and elegant and housed our 160-guests with plenty of space to spare. He responded to emails quickly and was easily reached on the phone. He even set up a tasting for me and my fiance to choose between 2 different main courses. The only setback was the company's inability to accommodate guests with gluten intolerance. However, he did suggest that we could provide our own meal for them and he could serve it but that was my only complaint! I am still having guests ask me "What is that man's mashed potato recipe?!" and share that "The chicken chateau was moist and flavorful throughout every single bite! Amazing!". Overall, 5 stars. Highly recommend.

We booked the Woman's Club for our wedding in 2016. The price is reasonable and you're able to use your own caterer which can be hard to come by. Pricing included a couple of bartenders as well as two security guards for the evening. The Woman's Club is a little more mom & pop but you'll still get a quick response to any questions. Emily helped us out at the time and she was very accommodating. The building is 100+ years old but well maintained and has a lot of charm. It's located walking distance from the Orange Circle, and there is a parking lot right across the street at the Orange City Hall. It can accommodate up to 250 guests (presumably without a dance floor) however we had a setup for 150 with plenty of room for partying. The place includes tables & chairs set-up, however you would need to recruit some folks to tear it all down. There's a nice stage & huge screen/projector as well. There's also an outdoor area/garden where outdoor festivities can take place. The kitchen is small, not intended for cooking but can be used by caterers for heating and setting-up. The place is very straight-forward, a room with a stage, small foyer (with restrooms), and outdoor space, but very charming.

La Petite Rose was everything we could have ever asked for in a venue. The decorations were beautifully laid out, the food was spectacular, the staff was attentive and caring, and to top it all off, Lily saved the day when the cake that we had ordered was nothing like what we had initially been shown. When our cake arrived, it was not at all what we had hoped for, but Lily took it upon herself to have the staff redecorate it and made it look beautiful. Aside from saving our cake, she was so on top of everything. From making sure our guests were well taken care of, coordinating each part of the night, to ensuring that we were also able to enjoy the food and drinks. DJ Master Larry was amazing as well. We met with him a month before the wedding, but he was spot on with the music and slide show. He made sure to pay special attention to everything we communicated with him in our previous zoom meetings. He also took great care in putting together not only the playlist for the night, but also the slideshow. To whomever is looking for a venue to host an event, I would not hesitate to recommend La Petite Rose, or any of the other venues they oversee. They provide such a comprehensive package with such attention to detail to surely make your event special and stress free.
