We recently had our wedding reception at the Bridgewood, and had a wonderful experience! We would definitely recommend them to other couples. All the staff were great to work with, and Julie the wedding coordinator was extremely helpful and easy to work with throughout the process. She got back to me quickly about all my questions and worked very well with all our vendors. The room was set up perfectly for our reception, and everything went without a hitch! The chefs Tom and Todd did a fabulous job on all the food, and even picked up apples at an orchard for us because we wanted an apple tasting. We also really liked that there was plenty of free parking for our guests, and the venue is basically right next to the Ramada, so your guests don’t have to worry about driving after the reception. We had a great experience at the Bridgewood!

My experience with Bridgewood was FANTASTIC!!! Me and my husband were doing a wedding renewal cermony 1 year later since we were not able to have the big wedding we wanted. Considering that we were on a budget, Bridgewood was the perfect place for us. Their patio was great, even though we had to decorate it ourselve I had no problem at all (thats what family is for) with that. Plus at night it was nice to have a place were people could smoke if they wanted to and still have view of the reception. Our wedding cermony was perfect, the draping and flowers made it look very nice! Julie was there for me anytime I needed anything. Even when I left my car down there after the wedding rehersal and realized the doors were unlocked, with a expensive wedding necklace I was to wear, she was nice enough to go out and lock my doors for me. She was very patient with me during all the changes we had to make, responded promply to all my emails, her and Tom were very professional. The food was great! Julie was asking me through out my event when would we like to start the next thing, so that people weren't feeling rushed to finish their meal or cake. She even was nice enough to help with putting the wedding favors on the tables for us. They were extremely flexibility and worked very well with the other vendors (DJ, flower lady, videography) etc. She told me when she met me that her job was to make this day go very smoothly for me with no drama, and that is exactly what her and Tom were able to do. I plan on referring all my friends and family to them for all their event needs and I plan on being a return customer as well. Bridgewood's space offers elegance, vary spacious, location is easy to find and can accomadate most events. Plus in the summer, spring the outside makes it very nice to take pictures. Either on the bridge with water beneath or in front of the minneapolis skyline. And last of all....it is a nice place for anyone to use even those on a budget. Brides...you can truly have the wedding of your dreams!

The food turned out different than in the taste testing. They wouldn't decorate their patio at all and I had to have someone else come in and do it. During the evening they didn't offer my guests a choice of cake and they were walking around clearing plates during our video slideshow. Other than that- a nice facility and a great location, and the owners were pleasant to deal with. No food and bev minimum- I liked that.

I really enjoyed having my reception at The Bridgewood. I loved the outdoor terrace, and the shape of the room was cozy yet fit a lot of people. This was a good choice for someone who does not want a VFW hall but can't afford a fancy ballroom or hotel. The food was excellent.
