Having our wedding reception at Rudy’s Redeye Grill was the best decision we made in planning our celebration of marriage. My husband and I had a vision of how that evening would look and represent us. Plus we wanted to offer our guests a special and entertaining experience. The vision we had was put into reality by the team at Rudy’s and far exceeded our expectations. We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary and we still get comments from our family and friends about how fun and beautiful the evening was.

I want to specifically recognize April Timp, who led the planning and execution, and was our point person through the whole experience. We shared our vision with April and she provided great suggestions regarding table layout, vendor selection, detail choices (like food, apps, drinks, linens, and more). We wanted more of a cocktail party feel so she helped us design where tables, dancing, the photo booth, the pictures, the bar, etc would go to give us the perfect flow of the evening. On top of that she is an absolute pleasure to work with – very friendly, prompt, and complete when responding to inquiries. The rest of the hotel and event staff also provided top notch service. I highly recommend working with April and the team at Rudy’s / White Bear Country Inn hotel for any event.

My wedding reception could not have been more perfect. The staff was very on top of making sure everything spilled was picked up very quickly. They served our plated dinners in a timely fashion. The food was amazing as always - we had lemon herb chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes. 10/10 food! They had our starters ready to go for cocktail hour and our late night snacks served at the perfect time right when everyone was a little tipsy from the open bar. Our bartender was awesome and did everything and more. The draping on the ceilings was beautiful & the bridal suite was pretty good for about 7-9 people. A little tight but it was nice anyways! Everyone was very friendly & they coordinated everything with me asap. Never any miscommunication, very on top of everything I wanted.

We had a Saturday 6pm Wedding with a plated dinner for 100, all in one, no dance. This location was easily accessible for the Twin Cities area/airport, and parking is plentiful in a nice quiet suburban neighborhood. They provided all the amenities we needed, since they have a on-site hotel, banquet room and restaurant that made the most amazing food for us. We had Prime Rib or Herb Chicken choices; they also provided a vegan option for those few guests as an add-on. Our hotel room blocks were right by the banquets room, which made it easy for dressing and resting. The staff is professional at what they do and served us plated dinner after our short 15-minute wedding among our seated guests. We brought in Costco cake, and they plated and served it for us, but they do also have their own desert options and referrals for decor. They provided fine linen and simple elegant dishes and candles for tables but allowed us to personalize by adding our own centerpieces. We added a staffed open bar dedicated to just for our banquet. We did not have a dance or DJ, but I opted to hook up my laptop to their existing audio and played soft dinner jazz music. The hotel was clean and always courteous. We didn't have time to enjoy the indoor saltwater pool, but many of our guests did, as well as enjoyed walks around the nearby White Bear Lake. We also had a lovely continental breakfast that the hotel provides to all guests the next morning. The best part of our wedding was the food, I can't tell you how many of our guests raved in the following weeks about how good the food is. The cost of everything was incredibly reasonable, so much was included in our costs of the venue and food/service, but we had many options for add-ons to make our event exactly what we envisioned, but never felt like all the options were nickel and diming us. We also had a Friday evening dinner for about a dozen of our guests from out of town, the night before the wedding. Best food, desserts, and drinks, in such a lovely upscale atmosphere in Rudy's Red Eye Grill. We returned almost a year later for Valentine’s dinner and the food again was the best!

Planning this from a great distance was challenging but you made it stress free and so much fun! Everything went off flawlessly and help was always available

We loved this venue! The compliments I was receiving from my guests were that they loved the social hour and the rooftop. The staff was incredibly friendly and so helpful all the time. Molly did an amazing job of making sure everything went smoothly. We also loved the use of doing both the ceremony and reception in one place and this place was perfect for it.

From the beginning of working with Molly, it was fantastic! She was more than willing to meet with us multiple times to ensure all our questions were answered and all things we wanted or expected would and did happen. We felt comfortable from the moment we made the decision of booking the venue. Everything went better than I ever expected and the service and food was amazing. The best part was Molly & team set up everything as I had asked from décor to centerpieces, to cake table, gift table etc. using the stuff I provided and did ALL the cleanup. That alone was worth the price of not having to deal with the stress of decorating before and cleaning up after. I would recommend WBCI and Molly and team to anyone. If I had to do it all over again, I would not even think twice about booking here. Thank you so much for everything and making sure our special day was indeed special and stress free!

The staff at the White Bear in were all very accommodating and helpful in my planning process. They were flexible and had great recommendations to help me. The hotel reservations were very clear and gave us a great group rate. Rudy's Red Eye Grill allowed us to come in and sample the different salads and options. During this time they answered questions and again gave advice on things that have worked and not worked at previous weddings. As the bride I appreciated this very much because I had never planned a wedding before!!

The most helpful person was our wedding coordinator, Sharina. She was very responsive to all the requests we had to personalize our wedding from letting us bring our own popcorn machine in to setting everything up for us the morning of the wedding exactly how we requested. She has a ton of experience and again I used this to help with logistics.

The event went off without any problems! The wait staff was very friendly and even went to my parents during the reception and told them that our group was very pleasant to have and they enjoyed having us there. I cannot even express how good that made my parents feel, THANK YOU! Throughout the night everything was served and cleaned very promptly; we were very impressed! The best part was that when the wedding dance ended at midnight my guests were able to either walk to with hotel room or go to Rudy's bar and roof top bar to continue celebrating. I would recommend this venue to any one looking for a place that will work with you to achieve your dream wedding reception.

The staff at White Bear Country Inn was AMAZING!!! They know how to put on an event and deal with the unexpected issues that arised. I was very impressed!!
