Thumper Pond is the most beautiful spot to have an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. In 2015 they created a new ceremony spot and it is absolutely STUNNING! My pictures have been breath-taking because the pond with the fountain is in the background :) Then move indoors to huge glass windows and wood work all around. I'm telling you pictures are amazing at Thumper and you hardly need to decorate because it is naturally beautiful. Also the staff at Thumper Pond are absolutely AMAZING! Jackie and Brad are were great to work with and they made accommodations to all my needs. The only comments I received related to our grooms dinner in their clubhouse (catering by the bar below). I would recommend going elsewhere as the food was mediocre...

We had our wedding here and we cannot say enough good things. We toured many different places and by far this was the best. From our initial meeting with Aurora to Nikki and her team, they made the entire process so smooth. They were very responsive, answered all of our questions and were there whenever we needed something. The wedding day was absolutely perfect. The ceremony site was beautiful and we got so many compliments from our guests. The reception room was great and accommodated our gets perfectly. 10/10 would absolutely recommend having your wedding here.

The ballroom was stunning — elegant, spacious, and beautifully set up with gorgeous décor that made the entire room feel warm and elevated. The views were incredible and created the perfect backdrop for both photos and the overall atmosphere of the evening. The food deserves special recognition — it was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and our guests are still talking about how good it was. Every course was served seamlessly and right on time. Our coordinator was phenomenal. She was organized, calm, and attentive, making sure every detail was handled so we could fully relax and enjoy our night. The staff overall was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. From a value standpoint, this venue exceeded every expectation. The level of service, quality, and attention to detail we received made the experience feel incredibly worthwhile. Between the beautiful space, amazing food, and seamless coordination, it truly felt like an investment in a stress-free, unforgettable day—and I would choose this venue again in a heartbeat. This venue played such a huge role in making our wedding day unforgettable. If you’re considering hosting your reception here, I cannot recommend it enough — it was truly perfect in every way!! :)🤍

We had our wedding here and can't say enough about how great Creeksbend is! From our very first contact with Rachel, we absolutely loved it. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and made our wedding day so amazing. The food was great, the staff was wonderful, and the venue is beautiful. Bryan, and all the staff, checked in with us multiple times throughout our day to make sure everything was perfect and they were so helpful with anything we needed. We absolutely loved our wedding day and very highly recommend Creeksbend!

The Mendakota Country Club is a beautiful venue and we had the vision for how beautiful the course would be in the early fall for our wedding when we toured in the dead of winter!! Our photos throughout the day in multiple locations throughout the venue are stunning with beautiful greenery and waterfronts. MCC checked every box for what we looked for in a venue, including (but not limited to): the opportunity for an outdoor ceremony and flexibility in having both indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the event including cocktail hour, onsite getting ready spaces, onsite catering with a variety of dinner options and a cohesive, one-level space (helpful and easy for family members with physical mobility issues) Adena was very responsive and by the end of our year and a half engagement, had responded to 200 emails, discussing details and answering questions for our big day! Jessica and Adena in partnership with our Day of Coordinator were able to manage many moving pieces and make our big day come together beautifully, and the waitstaff and barstaff were wonderful to work with. While we had a good experience overall with MCC, there were two day-of notes that did detract from our Big Day: We were told that the staff will “stop golfers” from teeing off at certain holes during the ceremony, however we had numerous golfers walk right behind our officiant during the ceremony and even one golfer approximately 15 feet from us saying our vows yelling to someone in the parking lot. While we understand it is a country club/golf course first and foremost, MCC charges couples a $1,200 onsite ceremony fee that should come with the expectations of no members on the first few holes of the course during the ceremony. During the reception, the temperature was not well maintained and by the time the dance floor was fully opened, all guests were profusely sweating. While there were industrial fans to help keep the room cool, it was not as effective as we would have liked, especially during an unseasonably warm day in mid-September.

We had our wedding here in June and I can't say how well they did. Accommodating before hand for checking set up, meal choice and assuring us an easy day. To the day of, all was set up for our finishing decorations, they had plenty of staff for drinks, dinner and throughout the day and everyone was kind and helpful. The food was delicious and flavorful, so much that our guests were talking about it afterward. While it's not the flashiest place the outside pictures turned out beautifully and everyone had a great time with plenty of space. Plus we used the bags and bocce ball areas and our guests enjoyed having more things to do. Might take a little bit to respond to emails only because they are always going and helping.

The food was absolutely incredible and has been one of the biggest compliments from our guests! I highly recommend the salmon and the butternut squash ravioli—both were perfectly prepared and so flavorful.

We can't say enough good about Rush Creek and their team for making our wedding reception one that was beautiful, delicious, a great time, and EASY for us as a couple. Aimee and her staff allowed us to enjoy our wedding week as we simply dropped decorations off Tuesday and didn't do any other work at the venue until we showed up Saturday night. The service was great, food was delicious and we would most definitely recommend for others to make their day incredible at Rush Creek!
