The clubhouse boasts more than 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space, accommodating up to 700 guests. History

In 1914, Golden Valley Country Club was born with the purchase of a 133-acre site bisected by Bassett Creek. Initially, it was all pasture land and corn fields, but a nine-hole golf course was fashioned out of the space north of the railroad tracks, and play commenced shortly after. The club entered the Roaring Twenties with exuberance, and it was then that the golf course expanded to 18 holes. Membership was then strong, and a new clubhouse was constructed. A. W. Tillinghast, a well-known golf course designer, was retained in 1926 and commenced a three-year renovation of the course. Over the years, many changes have been made to both alter the course and bring it back to its original roots, but today, it has proven itself a championship course and taken on other remarkable roles, hosting elegant weddings and social gatherings. In 2024, Golden Valley Country Club was rebranded to The Club at Golden Valley.
