About this venue
Located in Maple Grove, MN, Rush Creek Golf Club is a wedding and banquet center situated just 20 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. The golf course offers the convenience of an urban metropolis and the seclusion of a countryside estate. Opened in 1996, the property was designed to exude an exclusive ambiance while remaining open to the public. Over the years, it has been expanded to include a luxurious clubhouse and banquet space.
Abounding with lush greens and picturesque wetlands, Rush Creek Golf Club provides a breathtaking backdrop for your celebration. Receptions are held in the MacMillan Ballroom, a cavernous space that features floor-to-ceiling windows that bathe the floor in natural light. The ballroom also includes vaulted ceilings, two stone fireplaces, and elegant lighting fixtures. The Talisker Terrace is located directly off the MacMillan Ballroom and is shared with the clubs restaurant. Draped with romantic bistro lighting, the terrace is a picturesque location to hold your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, or take a break from the dance floor under the stars. Rush Creek also features a smaller banquet room, located on the buildings second level. The Skye Room offers the same feel as the MacMillan Ballroom, but on a junior scale. The views are spectacular, and the stone fireplace completes the astonishing atmosphere of the room. Down the large grand staircase illuminated by a wrought iron chandelier are two get-ready suites. These suites are great for preparing with your wedding party and sipping cocktails ahead of the festivities.
