We could not recommend Oak Ridge Country Club more to host your wedding, or really any event. Not only is the event space stunning with the beautiful floor to ceiling windows and timeless design, James (the coordinator) made all of our dreams come true. He really is the reason our wedding was as great as it was. He was so flexible, accommodating, and wonderful to work with. The food is top tier, everyone was talking about the appetizers we had during cocktail hour and the steak/walleye/pasta we had for dinner. The waiters and bartenders were so kind to our guests and moved quickly in getting everything out so our guests were always happy. The location is also so great, just outside of the cities. We could not say better things about this venue and the people that work there. I will be recommending this place for the rest of my life!

I can't even begin to describe how amazing Oak Ridge was! The venue is in excellent condition and was perfect for the type of wedding we wanted. From the hardwood floors to the gorgeous chandeliers, and the incredible view of the golf course this venue has everything and more! James Wagner, the event coordinator was so amazing and attentive to all of our needs. He was quick to respond with any questions or concerns and made sure our day was exactly how we wanted it! When it was time for our sunset pictures he knew exactly where we should go! He even took the time to take us to the locations where he knew we would get the best pictures! His attention to detail and kindness is unmatched!!! The food was incredible! We've had so many of our guests tell us that this was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, which is exactly what we wanted!! We couldn't have asked for better! I would recommend Oak Ridge over and over again!!! Thank you for helping to make our wedding day perfect!!!!!

I recently had my wedding cocktail hour and reception at Oak Ridge Country Club, and I cannot say enough about what an incredible experience it was! From the initial contact and tour to the end of the wedding night, everything exceeded our expectations!

The Country Club itself has the perfect layout for an event with a spacious cocktail hour area, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course letting in lots of natural light (our favorite part) and a nice outdoor patio overlooking the course for guests to get some fresh air. Additionally, the reception hall is beautiful with all wood floors and high ceilings giving the space an updated and clean look. We took our couple pictures and wedding party pictures at Oak Ridge golf course, and the pictures turned out phenomenal! The rolling hills and tall trees on the course are picture perfect!

The food was delicious as well! The Oak Ridge chef and service staff hosted a private taste testing evening where we were able to sample all of our selections and feel confident about the choices we made for food. The quality of the food that night carried over to the Wedding evening x 225 plates as I have only heard positive compliments of the Hors d’oeuvres and plated dinner that were served! The bar service was also top-notch with a wide selection of drinks as well as accommodating a signature drink. The line was never too long as the bartenders worked quickly and accurately to keep everyone’s glasses full!

The event coordinator, James Wagner was absolutely wonderful to work with! He is clearly an expert in his field. He responded to all of our endless emails, phone calls and questions promptly giving us a peace of mind throughout the whole planning process. I did not have a wedding coordinator, but working with James made it easy! He was extremely flexible with last minute changes, offered valuable advice where needed and really put our dream into a reality! Along with James, the service staff the day of the wedding was extremely attentive to all of our guests, professional and worked expertly around food allergies and special requests and needs of the day. The whole Oak Ridge crew worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly the day of, allowing us to relax and enjoy our celebration!

Choosing Oak Ridge as our cocktail hour and reception venue was one of the best decisions we made! The venue is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, the staff is phenomenal, and the food was outstanding! I highly recommend booking them for your future event or wedding!

As an event planner I recently planned my first wedding at Oak Ridge. From the beginning I was very impressed by the attentiveness and flexibility of their venue coordinator, James. At many venues, I help clients work through countless restrictions, so it was a breath of fresh air collaborating with a venue who put the client first. I could tell they prioritized the couples' experience during the planning process. With over 250 guests this was no small event, and I felt support from the entire staff all night. Their food was excellent as well! I definitely recommend Oak Ridge for any type of special event.

THE BEST VENUE EVER! Our entire wedding experience with Oak Ridge Country Club was far an above anything we could have hoped for. James Wagner the banquet manager and his entire staff made not only our wedding day, but months of planning up to such a great experience!! James and his staff literally DID NOT say no to anything we requested, desired, or dreamed - moved furniture, multiple layouts, allowed us to setup/takedown when worked best for us, accommodated our pasta action station dinner style, special desserts, allergy consideration, additional tastings, allowed us to take a golf cart out for photos, even allowing us a foursome at on the country club the day before!!! The scenery for our October Wedding at the Country Club was beyond beautiful with colors, club grounds keeping, and fall decorations. The ballroom is stunning with all wood flooring and views of the course. Food was outstanding - the compliments from guests were endless. We even had some people go through the line more than once!!

Truly can't thank James and his entire Oak Ridge staff enough for accommodating us in every way and making our Wedding day truly the best day of our lives. If you're considering Oak Ridge Country Club, you're crazy to look anywhere else!!!!!!!

Oak Ridge was such an incredible place to have our wedding. The location, views, set-up, staff, food, flexibility, size, price and countless other things were unlike any other location we inquired with. Their food is incredible, our guests are still complimenting how great it was. James was so great to work with and help make our day perfect! Thank you Oak Ridge!

We chose Oak Ridge Country Club as the venue for our wedding due to its beautiful interior and exterior and great location to where we live and Minneapolis. Kim was wonderful to work with. She was quick to respond to email and very accommodating throughout the process. She had great ideas and was willing to work with our unique requests. We had our ceremony in the upper foyer overlooking the golf course, which was absolutely beautiful. Our reception took up the entire ballroom, which, similarly, was beautiful. The venue has dark wood everywhere and is very classy. The staff were wonderful. The food was amazing. They allowed us to make up our own dishes and did them extremely well. All of our guests loved the food. We were married April 12th, which we were hoping would be lovely and green; however, we had a blizzard instead, but it was equally beautiful and we now think we lucked out with how it looked. I would highly recommend this venue. You won’t regret it.

They were great and always willing to meet up to chat and work through details! It’s an elegant venue and has a big ballroom which is something I had a hard time coming across. It’s very spacious, food is delicious, and you get use of both outside and inside space which is perfect for warm weather weddings.

Fantastic. This venue is GORGEOUS and the wedding planning with catering director Kim Trzpuc runs like a well-oiled machine. The price is excellent for what they provide. The food portions are large and they have brand new wood floors that make the venue even more beautiful. We had both our ceremony and reception there which went as smooth as possible given an unbelievable snowstorm that was sent our way. Because of the windows and snow, it looked like we were in a snow globe through the duration of the night. The locker rooms provide a posh and pampering getting ready space for both the women and men. I had about 15 people getting ready in the women’s locker room and we were not cramped for space.
After our shuttle we hired dropped off our guests for the ceremony, they advised it was too dangerous to return guests because of the blizzard. Oak Ridge quickly stepped in to help find alternative transportation home, which they found, but then that bus got stuck, so they troubleshot that issue as well. They were short-staffed because many of their staff could not get in because of the storm, but we could not feel it. Their staff stayed even though the roads were only getting worse. We are so thankful they handled this so gracefully, I highly recommend this venue to anyone considering it.

Selecting Oak Ridge for our reception venue was the GREATEST decision! Everyone who attended the wedding was SO complimentary of the service, the food, and the ballroom! My husband and I fell in love with the venue when we toured it. Kim is a total gem and an absolute joy to work with! She was so patient and helpful, both on the day of our wedding, and the entire year we were planning! She is so professional and offered great advice for scheduling events during the reception. When trying to decide what we wanted to serve for dinner, Kim was so flexible! We asked her to pull pricing information for a variety of different styles and servings, but never blinked an eye at the added work this likely caused her. I've said it already, but it is worth it to mention again - the food was FANTASTIC! The ballroom is stunning, especially now that they have installed wood floors! The windows facing outside to the golf course provided great natural light until the sun went down. Once it was dark, the lighting in the ballroom was romantic - not too dim and not overly bright. We opted to serve a plated dinner to our guests, and the staff served everyone effortlessly. Additionally, at the end of the night, the staff stayed to help clean up and pack up our decorations - they were a huge help! Having Kim in charge of the reception left us totally at ease that everything would proceed as planned! If you're considering Oak Ridge for your wedding or reception, do it! It's a great decision and everything will be perfect!
