About this venue
JX Event Venue is an industrial-modern ballroom wedding venue based in Stillwater, Minnesota. Built in 1905 as the Connolly Shoe Factory, the building was renovated in 2016 to become one of the largest venues in Minnesota. Adjacent to the Lowell Inn, you and your guests who need to spend the night won’t have to travel far after your big day. With its history and first-class atmosphere, it is the perfect place for you to host your special day.

Facilities and Capacities
JX Event Venue can accommodate up to 720 people making it the ideal venue for an extravagant affair. Featuring exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, and a one-of-a-kind theater-style curtain to pull back and reveal a magical dinner setting, this location offers a charming and enchanting setting for the day. The venue is complete with wood beams and steel accents providing the perfect industrial-modern atmosphere for your wedding.

With all-inclusive packages available, JX Event Venue can provide a number of services for your special day that will allow the days leading up to “I do” to be worry-free. Their event planning and event rental services will ensure that the wedding of your dreams is brought to life from start to finish by providing you with preparation assistance and various decor items including drapery and lighting. Furniture, including chairs and tables, is also available. The option of a photo booth is a great addition to your entertainment allowing your guests to bring a keepsake home with them at the end of the night. The venue will setup and cleanup your wedding. Our Dream Wedding Brought to Life
On our first tour of the venue, we quickly noticed how perfect the venue was for our reception; the room is large but set up perfectly to dine on one side and party on the other. A beautiful space with a big rounded bar, dance floor and photo booth! We were already impressed by the space, but Emily sealed the deal for us. We chose the expert planning package and she helped us with every question and recommendation you could think of and made the planning process virtually stress free. With every vendor recommendation there were a few different options to fit any budget. They work with Bella Vida catering (the toughest part of the tasting was choosing the meals we wanted to offer because everything we tried was incredible!) which was very helpful to not have to search around for caterers. The getting ready suites for the bridesmaids and groomsmen were perfectly suited for getting ready the morning of and picturesque in our getting ready photos. Emily was very thorough in seeing our vision, and JX brought that vision to life! Every request we had was easily accommodated and the beautiful space was the cherry on top. We would recommend this venue and its' team to anyone and everyone who is planning a large event of any kind; our expectations were not only met, but exceeded. :)

As a wedding planner/coordinator, we LOVE working at the JX Venue! This is one of our favorite venues to work at. The venue is gorgeous and truly one of a kind. We are excited to be a preferred vendor with the JX Venue and One23 Events. We also recently helped Eliza at JX plan a styled shoot which turned out to be absolutely stunning! Eliza was great to work with as she was professional, friendly and stayed on top of the shoot and organized all of the vendors throughout the process. We can't wait to be back in September and December to work with the JX team again. Looking forward to working even more weddings and events there in the future! JX is the best venue. I don't know what else to say beyond that. It's the best actual venue, has the best staff, and is in the best location. If JX is available, your venue search should stop here. I'd book asap, because it's highly sought after. Highly, highly, highly recommended.
