As a florist - I love working at JX Event Venue in Stillwater, MN. It is a beautiful, simple, elegant space and a perfect backdrop for a wedding (and our flowers.) The rooms are beautiful. Exposed brick and crystal chandleiers have transformed the the old factory into an elegant beautiful setting.The staff is so professional and willing to help - working there is a pleasure! The spaces decorate beautifully or look beautiful just as they are. As a florist, JX is a great backdrop for whatever the Bride's vision is for flowers. As a wedding DJ I travel a lot around MN and have been to lots of venues and the JX is one of my favorites for these reasons:
-Venue aesthetics- it just looks great all around
-Bar near the dance floor
-The staff- from the planners, bartenders and caterers, you are in for 5 star treatment
-Sound- great acoustics for speeches and dancing

You are going to have a great wedding at the JX!

The moment we toured JX we knew we had to book it for our wedding. Downtown Stillwater is quaint and JX so elegant. The natural brick, tons of natural lighting through the windows, and chandeliers that make this place so unique and unlike any other venue we toured.

We opted for the VIP package with JX and it was worth every penny. We had no clue where to start with the wedding planning process and we truly thought at times that we didn’t know how we’d pull it off. However, having Emily as our expert planner made the planning process so seamless for us. We booked almost all of their preferred vendors, which made our day come together flawlessly. Emily is used to working with their preferred vendors and we truly didn’t worry for a minute that things wouldn’t work out. We trusted Emily with every aspect of our day and it turned out perfectly. Even the couple vendors we booked that weren’t preferred, they worked seamlessly together.

I’m a very indecisive person, struggle with making decisions and Emily was alway so flexible with us.

We aren’t from the Stillwater area or had much of a connection to it before our wedding, but we certainly do now. We have returned multiple times since our wedding to visit restaurants, or even events that JX has hosted. Emily and team truly make you feel like you’re a part of their JX family every time you return.

We could not recommend JX venue and the VIP experience enough. It made our wedding truly perfect, and we wouldn’t change a thing. 10/10 recommend!

JX is amazing!! The venue is gorgeous and the staff, especially Emily, are incredible to work with. They are so professional and communicative. They want your day to be stress-free and everything you want it to be. I would highly recommend!!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at JX! We got so many compliments on the venue. Everyone there was incredible to work with and very professional and knowledgeable. I loved having the getting ready rooms, and there are so many great places for pictures!

JX was the BEST venue to work with for our wedding. So professional and really know what they are doing. Our entire day went off without a hitch. They really made our vision come to life, and had great vendor recommendations as well. Our guests LOVED the venue and had an absolute blast. Corey was our day of coordinator and was wonderful! We worked with Emily Tweed leading up to the event and she could not have been more helpful, and put our minds at ease about everything. You really do get what you pay for with this place.

The best venue I’ve seen/been at for a wedding. Layout is perfect, building is beautiful so all pictures have a great background, staff is great, their recommended vendors are great. It is on the pricier side but worth it! They do charge a lot per hour to get in early so we ended up getting hair and make up at a VRBO but then we’re still able to take pictures in the getting ready suite.

JX Event Venue was the perfect wedding venue for our big day! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and everyone that we worked with was SO helpful. We worked with Emily for day of coordinating and she was incredible to work with- she made the day run SO smoothly.

What an amazing venue-I truly cannot recommend JX Venue enough! The team was so easy to work with, the process was seamless and stress-free, and they are true professionals who know what they're doing! We had such a blast planning our wedding here, and even more fun on our wedding day!! The perfect venue, the perfect planning team, and we cannot thank JX enough for everything they did for us to make our wedding day so special!

My wife and I got married at the JX Event Venue, and we couldn't have been happier! The staff was amazing, the venue was BEAUTIFUL, and the food was great. Everyone at JX was super accommodating to our individual needs, and we felt like we were really being taken care of. If you want your special day to go off without a hitch, choose JX :)

JX is a spectacular venue for a wedding. Emily was easy to talk to and professional throughout the entire process. The venue is beautiful, there is plenty of space, and we were given the opportunity to make our wedding personal and fun. We highly recommend JX.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I wanted a large wedding with lots of flowers, twinkle lights, great food and a great atmosphere. The JX helped me exceed my hopes and expectations. I had the best experience planning my wedding of 250+ people and would recommend the JX to anyone!

We moved our wedding in December from another one23 venue to the JX and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The venue is beautiful and the staff was fantastic to work with, they made everything super easy after rescheduling our wedding. Would highly recommend working with them.

We recently got married at the JX and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! What initially caught my eye about the space was how elegant it was without needing much decorating. We got so many compliments on the space from our guests!

Not only was the space beautiful, but the JX team was awesome to work with! We got married during Covid and Emily did such a great job of rolling with the punches and easing all of our nerves. Because of their planning and attention to detail, the day went off without a hitch and we had a perfect day!

Emily, thank you for a wonderful experience. The JX Event Venue is everything and more of what my Bride and Groom hope for. When I got in my car to go home I kept saying "Amazing", "Amazing". We had our ceremony and reception at the JX event venue this fall and it was the best decision we could have made for our wedding! We also added Emily's day of coordination to our package and she made the day go so smoothly. The space is beautiful and spacious, great for a large group and for live music. Our guests LOVED the photo booth and huge dance floor. I would not have changed a thing about our experience with the JX, we had an amazing wedding and are still receiving compliments on our amazing venue!

I was able to work an event at JX Venue and it was such a beautiful space! One of my favorite things about this space was the afternoon sun peeking through the windows and bringing in a warm glow into the atmosphere. The space is so perfect for intimate events and big ones too! I can't want to go back to work another event there! Highly recommend checking them out.
