We had a wonderful experience at the Boat Club! It was beautiful from top to bottom, inside and out. We loved that it was a small natural oasis in the middle of the city with a beautiful view. We heard nothing but positive feedback from our guests and HIGHLY recommend this venue!

I would highly recommend Mintahoe and the Minnesota Boat Club to anyone looking for a more intimate event. We ended up with around 100 guests and the space was a perfect fit. We had so many compliments on the food and questions about how we found such a beautiful venue. Katie was our coordinator, and I can’t say enough good things about her! She was very patient and happy to help with all of my last minute questions. I only saw her a few times during our wedding day but I know she was there during setup and stayed through dessert, and she had some very sweet comments for us after our wedding. They made the venue and catering part of planning very easy!

My husband and I had our ceremony on Raspberry Island and the reception at the Minnesota Boat Club. It was everything we wanted--nature, city, and water. Mintahoe Catering was also excellent.

The Minnesota Boat Club was hands down the perfect venue for our wedding! My husband and I met on rowing team, so it was very fitting that we got married at a boathouse! Such a beautiful space, and everyone we worked with was wonderful! I couldn't be happier with our experience, our wedding was absolutely amazing!

We had our wedding at the Minnesota Boat Club in July 2016. The Boat Club as a wedding venue is managed by Mintahoe Catering. We loved our experience with the Boat Club and Mintahoe! It could not have went more smoothly. We received great service from Mintahoe from start to finish. Lindsey was our main point of contact from Mintahoe and was an amazing customer service professional. She answered all our questions in a timely manner, and accommodated all of our requests, including dietary restrictions, customizing our alcohol package to fit our group, special dessert requests, and allowing us to bring lawn games on site. We loved working with Lindsey! Also, the staff Mintahoe brought in for the day of the wedding were equally great. All of the event staff were friendly and very helpful. We received a lot of compliments on the event staff, especially the bartender. Mintahoe catered the food and cake, all of which was tasty on the wedding day (especially the gluten free cake)! We had a buffet and there was plenty of food available. We received compliments on the food. Mintahoe offers a nice selection of healthy options. And last but not least, the Boat Club is a great place to get married. It was the perfect size for our smaller wedding. We loved getting married outside on the lawn, and it is also a beautiful setting for pictures afterward. The Boat Club building itself is very charming and did not need decorations, even though we had a few. Our guests loved hanging out on the outdoor balconies. It is also a very convenient location to get married, as you can have your ceremony and reception on site, and Mintahoe is capable of taking care of almost everything for you, including food, dessert, alcohol, linens, tables, and some decor. You do pay more for these services, but it made the planning process so easy for us, which is what we were looking for and was worth it to us. Thanks to the Boat Club and Mintahoe for a fabulous wedding day!

Not only was the venue amazing, the staff was fantastic as well. People raved all night about the beautiful site both inside and out. We loved it! Fairy-tale wedding.

The Minnesota Boat Club, managed by Mintahoe Catering, was the most unbelievable venue. The water, the cityscape behind us, and the evening was magical. I would highly recommend this space for anyone wanting to get married outside and still have that feel during the reception. Loved it!

The venue was perfect for our wedding. As soon as we toured the space, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. The venue requires that you use Minntahoe catering, and they were fantastic! We worked with Joy and she helped guide our planning and organize our vendors. We went back and forth with meal options as everything we tried at the tasting was delicious. We had to make a few adjustments here and there, but Joy was very responsive and flexible. On the day of the ceremony we had rain, but we were able to make some adjustments inside to make it work. Our day was perfect! Beautiful venue.

We LOVED our experience at the Boat Club. We worked with Joy, who was professional, on top of everything and super helpful when it came to making everything fit in our budget. We did the ceremony and reception there (for 70 guests) and it was fantastic! We were in the winter with the fire lit and cozy candles everywhere but it would be just as beautiful in the summer with the doors open and the balcony space. :)

Lovely venue and catering

We still gush over how lovely the boat club was for our wedding. The backdrop to our wedding ceremony was beautiful and the space for the party was just the right size and amount of unique charm. Our guests loved it and we got some many compliments.

The service was also spectacular from start to finish. Katie was always very responsive and eager to answer any questions. The day of service was just as great too.

The catering was delicous and we really enjoyed being able to go to a tasting beforehand to pick just what we wanted.
