    I'm speechless! Marcea helped me put together the wedding of my dreams! We used her to help with the upfront planning and day of planning, for the entire wedding! I knew that it would be a lot of stress to take on while working full time, and buying a new house! She was worth EVERY penny! The day of turned out to be beyond every expectation, and my husband and I couldn't be happier! I would highly recommend her for your every need when it comes to wedding planning.

    Since day one, she has been up front and honest in helping us create our wedding while sticking to our budget! She has a wonderful list of vendors she has used and that she recommends, all of which were wonderful to work with! She helped make planning fun and stress free!

    When it came to the day of, she took care of EVERYTHING! I didn't put anything together, and she knew exactly how I wanted everything! And not one thing turned out unlike I would have dreamed. I'm so impressed by her professionalism and wonderful wedding planning! Marcea, thank you for all your help! You truly made our day one that we will all remember!

    Marcea has been a long time friend/volunteer for me over the years. Her dependability in every task has been excellent. When I married my long time boy friend, who she had also volunteered with, one of my first calls was to Marcea.
    She made planning my mountain wedding in Tabernash so much fun. She recommended flower vendors and special touches for my rustic chic wedding at Devils Thumb.
    She made everything easy and stress less

    We hired Marcea with Something Blue Colorado as our day-of-coordinator for our wedding.

    She met with us on three different occasions prior to the wedding, including a walkthrough of our venue about six weeks prior to our ceremony.

    She was very helpful and decorated the ceremony and reception site exactly as we asked.

    We had no idea how much goes into coordinating or running a wedding, and we were glad we could sit back and enjoy our special day while Marcea and her assistant made sure everything ran seamlessly!

    Marcea did a wonderful job on the short notice I gave her. Having her on the day of my wedding took so much pressure of me, I was able to relax and enjoy my special day!

    Marcea was absolutely wonderful to work with, incredibly helpful and organized and the best decision we made about our wedding! We really couldn't have done it without her! She helped us organize a destination wedding with ease---everything was very organized, clear and perfectly executed. Marcea was extraordinarily patient with us (we are both procrastinators..) and was great about sending a gentle reminder email if something had gone unnoticed. I am incredibly grateful to Marcea and would recommend her to anyone getting married in the Colorado area! Great value too!

    Excellent! Would recommend her to anyone! Marcia was super refreshing and perfessional! She exceeded all our expectations and didn't try to push any other products or services. She helped with suggestions and help me and my untraditional husband come up with a wedding both creative, reflecting our style and some what traditional to satisfy our family. We live working with her and she was worth every penny!

    Marcea managed the day of my wedding with tact and professionalism. We had about 175 people at our formal wedding and Marcea oversaw all the arrival and coordination of our vendors and ensured that we received value from every vendor. I have already recommended Marcea to my engaged friends and will continue to promote her exceptional services.

    After interviewing several wedding planners, I decided on Marcea because I felt that her happy and bright personality would also be a great asset on my wedding day. Marcea treated our wedding guests with the professionalism and respect that I expected from a wedding planner. Her fees are very fair and her help and advice were indispensable to us. She took the time to get to know our wedding vendors and to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

    Something Blue was a god-send. We live in Texas but got married in Colorado. If it weren't for her, I don't think everything would have gone as smoothly and perfect as they did. She is professional and fun. If you're looking for a planner, I definitely reccommend Something Blue!

    I've seen a lot of friends get married this year, and like me, most of them hired a day-of coordinator. Let me tell you, I scored with Marcea. She was the most valuable part of our wedding--- she totally helped me leading up to the wedding and the day of, I felt totally relaxed and confident that she had everything under control and I had nothing to worry about. She handled little hiccups without worrying me or my wedding party, and everything turned out wonderfully. I would highly recommend Marcea to anyone, whether you're planning a wedding yourself, or need her creative ideas. Great person, great value, very professional and high quality.!

    Marcea was so wonderful as our day-off coordinator, I couldn't be happier about our decision to hire her. She was able to answer all of our questions in a very timely manner throughout the planning process, was VERY detailed in taking notes and pictures with how I wanted the details to look, and everything turned out perfectly! She took the time to meet with us on several occasions to make sure that we were getting everything done that we needed to, and offered some really great suggestions that we incorporated into our wedding.
    On our last meeting, I felt so confident that Marcea had everything under control down to the very last detail that all of my stress and concern disappeared.
    I highly recommend Marcea's services to anyone looking for a full service wedding coordinator to a day-off coordinator. It was one of the best decisions that we made in the wedding planning process.

    Marcea Copeland-Rodden is a fabulous wedding planner! I hired her for the weekend-of-the-wedding package, and couldn't be more pleased with her work. My wedding was entirely DIY, and I took care of all contracting, crafting, and coordinating before the event. However, Marcea was on top if it all, and was seamlessly able to take over for me the weekend of the wedding so that I could enjoy it, rather than me needing running around placing centerpieces or calling the bakery to see where the cake was. I was able to just focus on the day, my friends, and my husband. She helped decorate the venue to my specifications, ran the ceremony and reception, took care of final payments, and I'm sure did a million other things that I (thankfully) am not aware of because I was enjoying my day! If you are a DIY bride, Marcea is the perfect complement to your wedding - you take care of all the details, and let her make sure they're all put together so you can enjoy all the work you've put into it. I'd be happy to answer any questions about Marcea, and I HUGELY recommend her to anyone needing help coordinating the whole thing, or just stage-managing what you've put together already.

    Marcea coordinated my daughter’s wedding and did a truly excellent job; the wedding and reception were executed flawlessly. We were terribly stressed trying to do everything before the wedding, but as soon as Marcea took over, everything flowed beautifully and we were able to relax and enjoy without having to worry or do anything more ourselves. There were a few little problems (in our planning, not Marcea’s), but Marcea handled those problems so that everything was impeccable. She remembered a lot of things that we didn’t!
    My daughter had chosen an outdoor wedding with a rustic theme and Marcea had wonderful ideas to add that helped to keep everything elegant within that theme. She helped to pull together the bride’s ideas to create exactly what the bride was picturing. And her idea for the bride’s entrance to the outdoor chapel was brilliant. The bride’s entrance was stunning, dramatic and exquisitely beautiful.
    Marcea was also able to handle all the members of the wedding party at rehearsal and the wedding and keep us all in the right place at the right time. She was able to gracefully move all the guests to where the bride wanted them for the rehearsal, cocktails after the ceremony and later for a group photo.
    We absolutely could not have planned and executed a wedding this beautiful without Marcea. Her insightful ideas for the little extra touches and calm and professional manner really made the wedding perfect !

    I was living in India when Marcea was helping me plan my wedding. She made a lot of 'Executive Decisions' for us as we were not physically there to do much of the planning. She took away my fears and stress. She was available for every email and Skype session. She is very resourceful and kept me on time for monthly deadlines. On the wedding day she really took on a load of responsibility and everything went smoothly. She was worth every penny we spent!

    I enlisted Marcea's help only for day of, but it was much more than that. We had a couple of meetings face to face ahead of time, and I could email her whenever I needed.
    Marcea was great to have for the day of my wedding, she thought of many things I never would have thought of, she made sure I had all of the pieces and vendors I would need in order for my day to be a success.
    She made it possible for me and my guests to enjoy the wedding and not have to worry about the small details, like making sure everything went off according to plan.
    Best decision I made for my wedding.

    Something Blue was the only mistake we felt we made in choosing out vendor. She was unorganized and as a result I had to plan much of my wedding ourself. She was never able to execute a plan without the necessary baby sitting. When we needed something done, she often would attempt to do it, and then I had to go re do it myself. While she was helpful the day of the wedding, she dress completely unprofessionally, like she was going on a hike in the back woods, and stuck out like a sore thumb. She was also extremely bossy and rude to our respective parties and parents. Additionally, she would consistently get the grooms last name wrong, spelling it incorrectly in important documents. With all this said, we got what we paid for, if you are looking for a mediocre wedding planner because you can't spend a lot of money, Something Blue is your choice!
