Rolf's Patisserie was the vendor that was provided to us in our package at the Congress Plaza Hotel. My husband and I loved the cake flavors. The cake was moist and the fillings were so delicious. I loved the end product. My cake was so beautiful.

Our 5 tier wedding cake was spectacular! It was very elegant and timeless. Sarah was great to work with! She was able to help bring our vision to life!

Rolf's came with our venue package so we went with them. They're pros at catering so had it down to a science. Our tasting lasted all of 15 minutes, which was great for us. the only thing is that all the extras were more money. For our package, we didn't have too many choices, but that was ok for us. Still, our cake came out beautifully. Our only minor surprise was that our color didn't quite match. We asked for purple and got more of a brown. I think it had to do with the low lighting at the ceremony, but the cake looking beautiful nonetheless. Also, it was a lot richer than what we remembered at the tasting, but that was just fine as well. I'd probably use them again. They made a lot of specialty and character cakes so will keep them in mind next time we need one!

Our wedding cake was beautiful and tasted so good! Many people called us the next day and said it was the best wedding cake they've ever had. It was tiramisu flavored filling and frosting over vanilla bean and chocolate decadance cake. They were so nice at our tasting too. All of the cakes were cut into hearts. When people are so nice, it makes the wedding planning experience a lot of fun and memorable. There were so many compliments that I ordered a smaller version of our cake for our one month anniversary.

From start to finish I’m glad our caterer picked Rolf’s Patisserie to bake our wedding cake.

Early on, it was hard to schedule a meeting with Sarah since my fiancé only has off Sunday and Mondays and she has off those days as well, but that’s how it is if you’re in the service industry. There were not many Saturday appointments so I advise to plan ahead if you’re looking for a Saturday.

Once we arrived at our cake testing they were a little behind schedule so we had to wait another 15-20 minutes. You are only allowed to bring up to four people to your taste testing and extras would be an extra charge. I must say my mother, FMIL, fiancé and I were quite shocked as to how little the cakes were. We thought we would be getting an actual piece of cake, but I suppose we were wrong. The cakes we had to try were little hearts, first to taste on its own and then whichever filling you choose. A bit disappointed, but not a huge deal.

On the day of our wedding Rolf’s delivered. Everyone complimented on how great the cake was: moist, delicious. Unfortunately, my now husband and I, didn’t even get to eat our own wedding cake because we got so busy taking pictures.

I think the most unique and best feature about this bakery is you’re given a certificate. With that certificate on your first-year anniversary they recreate your wedding cake exactly how it was on your wedding day. This way you don’t have to find room in the freezer and eat stale cake on your anniversary.

We had such a great experience with Rolf's. Our cake was part of our catering package so I was concerned about being limited in our options. The staff at Rolf's helped us to modify one of their fanciest cakes to fit our package. We received so many compliments on our cake. Bonus: it tasted as good as it looked!

A week after our wedding, we are still receiving compliments on our cake from our guests. The site of the paisserie was very nice, and we had a blast during our cake testing. We had a smaller wedding, and the flexibility of Rolfe's was very much appreciated. The cake tasted fabulous, and we are very happy with our choice.

We enjoyed working with Rolf's for our wedding. The original consultation meeting was great. We were given a number of ideas for the design of the wedding cake. We were also given the opportunity to try various flavors as well as cake samples to pick the right one. On our wedding day, the cake looked beautiful. It also tasted great! So many guests were pleased with the cake and most people had second or third slices! I would recommend Rolf's to anyone for their wedding!

The cake came with our reception. It was beautiful. Exactly what I asked for. They were very friendly. The cake was delicious.

We've ordered cakes from Rolf's for birthdays and other special occasions. Their cake is lighter and not overly sweet. The variety of flavors is very wide. We ended up with a four tier cake with two flavors and side cakes with two other flavors. The design we picked was very clean and simple, but looked stunning. The side cakes were also nicely decorated. Everyone loved the lightness and flavor of the cakes. We will definitely be coming back to Rolf's for an anniversary cake.

Our cake from Rolf's was included in our package for our reception. We took in a couple photos and discussed what could be done within the package price (more intricate designs would have cost us more money because it was not included in the package, so we went a bit more basic.) The tasting was a little overwhelming with lots of choices, all good. When we actually ate the cake on our wedding day, I must say it tasted better than at the tasting. Overall, we were happy with Rolf's.

Our venue collaborates with Rolf's, so we didn't really have a choice as to where our cake would come from. We were a little nervous at first, but then we went for our tasting. Sarah was very flexible in her scheduling, and when we arrived at the bakery, they were ready for us. They have a great set up for brides and grooms to do their tastings. We got to try nearly 20 fillings and like 6 different types of cake. Everyone of them was so delicious that we had trouble selecting. We brought in a picture of a cake we liked that we found on-line, and Rolf's re-created it perfectly. Our guests loved the cake so much that people were searching for a 2nd slice and wanted to try both of the flavors we had selected. We were very happy with them. I don't think we'll be able to wait a whole year to have more of our wedding cake. The only reason I didn't give them a perfect score was that they were unable to make us a 2nd nut-free, vegan cake for some of our guests with specific dietary needs. We ended up having to get that cake elsewhere.

Our venue uses Rolf's so we did not get to choose our bakery. After the tasting, we did not mind at all. We did a five layer cake with alternating layers of Vanilla Chiffon cake with Strawberry Moose and Double Devil's Food cake with Hazelnut Buttercream. After attending wedding that used Rolf's I decided to order a groom's cake through Rolf's. I did a Chicago White Sox baseball hat made of Carrot Cake. I tried a piece of each cake the day of the wedding and was extremely happy with the results!

OMG!! Our cake was fantastic. I had people trying to hunt down other pieces to eat. We're not sure if we'll be able to wait another year to taste it again!
