Setting an appointment to meet with a baker was easy. I even brought a picture (that they can keep on file with them) of how i wanted my wedding cake to be designed. They had my cake delivered on time. My only compliant was that the could have done the design neater. When i compared the picture to their work, it didn't compare. I was a little disappointed. Other than that, it was moist and tasted good.
The cake was UM UM GOOD! I came in at 3 weeks before my wedding to order the cake and paid for the cake the day before and the cake was ready when they said it would be and it was yummy! Thank you Gambino's!
Gambinos ruined my brothers wedding! The cake was 2 1/2 hours late because they didn't start working on it until that morning. They put the fondant on while the cake was still warm so it bubbled off. They were so rude and never apologized. We asked to speak to the owner and he hung up on us. PLEASE do not use Gambinos for your wedding cake! I do not want anyone to ever go through what my family went through!!
So nice to work with. She sat down with us and went over what we wanted, making suggestions when needed. The cakes went over so well and guests are still talking about how good it was.
I waited until the last minute to put in an order for my cake, about a week before the wedding, and they were able to make it in time. The price was very good and the cake was beautiful and it was the best cake i had ever eaten.
When we ordered our wedding cake from Gambino's, we had something special in mind. We did not have a lot of extra funds, but we were able to get our favorite comics (Calvin and Hobbes) printed all over both tiers, and supply our own action figures for the top. They were so helpful, professional, and flexible, which helped at that hectic time. Also, my husband was so impressed with how delicious the cake was, he wants to get another one for our anniversary.
