I do not know where to begin with my review as I have so many great things to say about Cheryl Lynn, Jimi and Nicki. I will first start by saying that Cheryl Lynn and her team are the hardest workers I have ever met. They are so kind and down to earth and working with them was an absolute pleasure. They came to Colorado Springs from Denver on their day off to pack up all of my wedding day decor and took it back up to Denver to store until my wedding day. On the wedding day they set everything up, coordinated everything and made sure everybody was taken care of. After the event, the cleaned everything up and offered to take anything with them for us to pick up at a later date. In addition, my wedding was supposed to be outdoors but on my wedding day we got tons and tons of snow and Cheryl Lynn and her team adjusted perfectly and made my indoor wedding just as beautiful. Cheryl Lynn also returns e-mails promptly and answered any questions with zero hesitation. How can it get any better? It's hard for me to believe that the hardest workers at my wedding were also the most affordable. I will absolutely recommend them to any couple I know getting married in the future. I couldn't have done it without them. Thanks guys!

Cheryl Lynn was very helpful in putting together the perfect ceremony for us! We went back and forth a few times to make minor changes and she was so patient and friendly!

Our wedding ceremony was pretty short and sweet with just a few personal touches and Cheryl Lynn was able to provide us exactly what we were looking for, with many helpful suggestions and guidelines along the way.

Cheryl was an outstanding officiant for our recent wedding! We planned a wedding with very short notice and contacted her only a month or so in advance. She came from Denver all the way to the western slope of Colorado to perform the ceremony and was still by FAR cheaper than the other officiants we were looking at. On the day of the wedding she was very proffesional and had prepared a beautiful ceremony for us. Couldn't have been happier with the wedding and I would recommend her services to anyone in Colorado or the area.

I had a few ideas of what we wanted to say to each other and she put it together beautifully. We also had some last minute changes (my family couldnt make the 1400 mile trip to see our big day) and she adapted to it wonderfully. It was more than I could have asked for. She truely went above and beyond my expectations and I would recommend her to everyone I know. TWO HUGE THUMBS UP!!!!

I was planning my wedding on a budget & just assumed I wouldn't be able to afford to hire a wedding planner. My friend started talking Cheryl Lynn Foster-Gerton via Craigslist because she had the table cloths I needed for my reception. Upon speaking to her, she told me that she offered "Day Of" Services at a VERY reasonable price. I decided her services would be well worth expanding my budget slightly.

Even thought I only paid for the "Day Of" services, I emailed Cheryl Lynn several times throughout the planning process of the wedding to get her advice. She always responded quickly with great ideas. Having her on "my team"-so to speak-put my mind at ease.

The day of the wedding came & everything was chaos--which I believe is pretty normal. There is no way I would have been able to deal with everything without Cheryl Lynn and her team. They set everything up and dealt with the mini crises that kept popping up. Meanwhile, I was able to relax and enjoy MY day.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Cheryl Lynn & An Essential Event. She understands how important the event is and helps in anyway she can. The whole team went above & beyond for us. Everyone at the wedding was so impressed with the team & couldn't believe that I didn't pay thousands of dollars to have them there! I have recommended An Essential Event to several people and I will continue to do so.

Working with Cheryl was WONDERFUL!! Being an older bride it was nice to have the knowledge that she had. I had know clue as to what I needed or where I needed to go. Cheryl held my hand and took me right to the alter..Her price is the best in Colorado and she was worth every penny and more.. I nervous about getting married without a wedding planner. I had seen a wedding where the bride and her family did EVERYTHING but enjoy the wedding. So I looked around. Essential Event had incredible prices compared to others. I got 3 people to service that day and they were wonderful. I recommend Essential Event to anyone. They made it so I enjoyed my day. I have never been married before or been part of a wedding so I had no idea what I was getting myself into. They helped me so much. Thank you Essential Event!
