Allen was set to DJ my wedding in June 2011. He was a wonderful person who was my go-to for everything related to my destination wedding. I received a phone call today informing me that Allen was killed in a tragic plane accident. While he cannot share my special day with me any longer, he will absolutely be on my mind the entire time.

Rest in peace, Allen.

Allen was our DJ on 2/19/11. He did such a great job, the guests really enjoyed. He really took the initiative to make my wedding flow and keep us on top of schedule. He was like a wedding planner at heart! I still get positive comments from my guests wondering who was the DJ and if I can refer him to them. However, we were told that Allen's last wedding was our wedding. Due to a horrific personal plane crash, he was killed. RIP Allen! You were such a great DJ, and I'm so glad that you were able to be at our wedding!

Allen with AAA DJ is wonderful! He knows so much and made my reception run so smoothly. We gave him freedom to choose the music and everything was amazing! He has an awesome speaking voice and is the perfect reception choice! He even accommodated our day of changes with no problem. You can't go wrong with AAA DJ!

If anyone could be less prepared than us I would be shocked. Allen did an amazing job given the circumstances he was in. Many guest complimented me on how professional, courteous, and fun he was...I would recommend him to anyone.

What can i say about this DJ besides, Allen Layton is the man. Allen is so knowledgable at making a wedding run as smooth as ice. I met Allen about 8 year ago at the gym, but i never knew the skills he had when it came to being a DJ. He totally knows how to read a crowd and get them on the dance floor. All of my guess said, "Who's the DJ, he has a great voice". Allen's range is great, He's able to do anything from dirty dance to a moderate christian wedding and everything inbetween. Allen's professionalism is the best i've ever seen. He was on time, all his gear looked professional, and he worked great with everyone involved with the wedding. Anyone considering Allen as a DJ will be well pleased with his services.

Allen was great to work with from beginning to end. Very responsive to emails and questions and had lots of experience to share. In addition to the great music, the thing we're most grateful for is his excellent job as an MC for our reception. The whole evening went smoothly and we didnt have to worry about anything.

Allen is an amazing vendor to work with. We met him and we knew our search for the perfect DJ for our wedding was over. Allen is highly professional, very knowledgeable and just gives the bride that feeling that everything will be taken cared of. He gave us important tips and advice all throughout the planning process. And on the day of the wedding, he handled everything that needed to be handled...He's the best! To all the brides out there, he's the one! Grab on to him fast!

Alan was great at our wedding. In addition to setting the tone for the various phases of the wedding, he was always there as a mini-wedding coordinator at the event to let us know how much time we had and what we should be doing next. I'm sure things would not have gone as smoothly without him.

We could not be happier with the job Allen did for our wedding and he helped make it a day that neither we nor our guests will forget.
Our search for a DJ was mostly through the web and Allen was one of three that we narrowed it down to for interviews. From the start, he came to our apartment with a presentation and paperwork showing all he could do. The most impressive for us was that he had a pile of customer reviews and actually shows you the worst ones first! He does this because those aren't even bad and then he follows it up with a huge stack of positive reviews, so it was comforting to know it wasn't just Allen telling us he could do the job, there was a ton of people writing that he could do the job.
We had a big wedding of about 200 people and there was a lot going on for the day. Allen helped us keep everything running smoothly. He was available from the moment we told him we were going with him. There was no phone call or e-mail that would go un-returned. Additionally, he even contacted us on Thanksgiving day to make sure everything was falling into place (our wedding was the Saturday after Thanksgiving).
He was flexible with everything we were doing - we had a combination of Jewish elements and Thai elements and there was nothing Allen couldn't handle or give his input on as to how to make it work. We had slideshows requiring two projectors and he helped make it work.
One of our favorite aspects was his meeting with us about 2-3 weeks prior at the venue with our wedding coordinator so we all could meet in the actual room and make sure everyone knew what was expected and where everything would go.
In fact, he was able to help out with the lighting, as well. His pricing for that was better than we could get from the lighting teams, and his ideas on colors and the gobo lights were great.
Plus, he offered the idea for the cameras on the table for pictures to be showed real-time which our guests loved! It made everyone a part of the wedding!
For the day itself, he did a great job, both him and his partner Dean. For the ceremony, they found a perfect spot that you wouldn't even know they were there, it was like the music was playing in the air just for us.
For the reception, Allen did a masterful job of keeping everything on track. The introductions were great and he led a hora that got everyone onto the dance floor to set the tone for the party we wanted our wedding to be! Additionally, with a relatively busy wedding where we had to keep somewhat to a time schedule, we never felt rushed. And any changes that were made were done only after Allen came over to us and explained what the situation was and what his recommendation would be. He would not do anything major without our approval. In fact, if people requested songs that didn't seem like they were in our desired genre, he made sure with us that it was okay.
From our initial meeting with him months before the date to the final dance, Allen was the penultimate professional and we would recommend him to anyone who is looking for the best.

Allen is very knowledgeable at what he does. He is very accomodating and very considerate. I would definitely recommend him to be a DJ/host.

From the moment we met with Allen, you could tell he was a true professional, and we felt very comfortable that he would do an excellent job for our wedding.

We were so pleased to be able to find a DJ with extensive multicultural wedding experience! Our very first meeting with Allen lasted over an hour and within the first 10 min of him asking us all the tough questions, we were ready to book. We never thought of all the little details, like how long each of our 10 courses would take in coordination with speeches and dress changes. There was so much timing involved! He even knew exactly how our Chinese lion dancers should precede the grand entrance and had plenty of experience with table to table tea toasting. Our wedding was ahead of schedule and everyone said the music was amazing. He was able to say no (nicely) to all my relatives that wanted the horrid YMCA (which I hate). He was so professional and on-point every step of planning. Allen was the PERFECT CHOICE for us for our wedding reception! While I'm confident he could have delivered a traditional reception with flair, we asked him for a unique experience and he over delivered. Allen provided music for our ceremony and reception. He always returns phone calls and e-mail promptly. He is very organized and attention to detail. He even helped us to put together an itinerary for the reception, he is like a wedding planner cuz he knows so much about what is going on at the wedding and he will give you an honest opinion if you asked him. At our reception, he did a great job keeping the evening flowing and guests on the dance floor. He also provides LED lights and they make a huge difference in the ballroom. We highly recommend his service.
