Tommy was a consummate professional, a joy to work with, and an all around great guy. His Music Planning Document (an in-depth and thoughtful questionnaire) was an excellent way of getting all our dos and don'ts down in writing, as well as giving him a sense of exactly what we wanted (which he matched to a t!). Our guests had a blast, the song selection catered to our interests as well as theirs - excellent dance-able hits and oldies at the top of the night for the entire wedding, and some more modern bops as the evening went along. A DJ is such an integral part of the wedding day, and with Tommy, you can set your worries aside and let the master run the show! We cannot recommend him highly enough. -Ed and Imogen

Tommy was so wonderful to work with! Let me tell you that I already knew he was going to be so fun just by our first call. Music was such an important piece to us and all of our guest made a point to tell us how good the music was and our dance floor was packed the whole night. Not only that, he kept the flow of the day and even snuck in a surprise flash mob without me knowing it. I could not recommend him more if you want a seamless and fun wedding reception! You won’t regret hiring Tommy to do any type of party. 10/10 would book him again!

Tommy did an amazing job on our wedding! He was great both on the day of and during all the preparations in the lead-up. He always brought a great energy to meetings. He listened to our ideas and was very detailed about understanding our taste in music and song ideas, but he also had suggestions and playlists of his own as options. He even spliced together a few songs into a medley for us for our first dance! Tommy was so thorough and professional and enthusiastic that we never worried for a single second about how the night would go, and we were right because the night of went perfectly. Everything ran smoothly, and we got SO MANY compliments from our guests on the music. We could not recommend Tommy more!

Tommy is wonderful. He is an open and honest communicator. He is able to acquiesce to anything you want, or he can take command and handle everything as a one-man army. For the music, we had some highly specific areas of request that he easily fulfilled, and then when we had gaps to fill he knew exactly how to bridge them seamlessly. He comes prepared with enough equipment and knows how it should all be used best. Best of all, he's just a great person in general, so you'll get along while you work together to craft your perfect wedding vibe.

DJ Tommy was hands down our best vendor. He is so fun to talk to and sure to put you at ease. Right from the start, Tommy let us know what to expect, and he proactively communicated throughout. When you’re planning a wedding and feel like you’re constantly the one to reach out - getting a break is a big relief. He also gave us the time and space to work through all the details of the wedding together. The entire process matched Tommy’s vibe: prepared, enthusiastic, fun, but also calm. His planning document is immaculate and thorough - you can tell he’s put a lot of thought into it! It goes through the flow of the wedding as a whole and the vibe of each different portion. He also provides different playlists to choose from if you don’t already have your own. Then on the day-of everything went so smoothly! Tommy was our MC as well as DJ, and did a phenomenal job. He knows how to read the room and would adjust the music accordingly. We didn’t want the music to overpower the whole evening, and he struck the perfect balance. DJ Tommy came recommended by another DJ who we had seen perform at a friends wedding. My husband's name is Tommy D'Orazio, so it felt like fate that we found another Tommy + Apostrophe Last name.

We knew he was the one from our first meeting. Tommy was immediately generous with his time and expertise. He was super communicative and organized throughout the entire process: we loved his pre-wedding planning document that helped us give direction on what types of "vibes" we wanted for each part of the night. That way we could have a say in how the music *felt* throughout the evening, without having to put too much thought into the playlist or prescribe specific songs.

He was also an excellent MC: spoke when he needed to to help direct the flow of the night, without hogging the mike and making himself the star of the show like we see other DJs do at many other weddings. He facilitated the PERFECT transition from parent dances to guest dancing time: because of his orchestration and fantastic DJing, our dance floor was stuffed the entire night. Our guests still talk about how great the dancing was, and we contribute that all to DJ Tommy.

He also became the Father of the Bride's best friend when he helped coordinate the sweetest moment during my dad's speech: my dad wanted to surprise us with a song woven into his speech. Tommy worked with my dad a few weeks before, and on the day, executed the surprise perfectly.
