Award-wining DJ and club promoter Jamie Jams has been making people dance to obscure rock genres for over 15 years. He's humbly shared the stage with shoegaze gods like Ride, The Telescopes and Medicine, and more contemporary acts like Animal Collective, Passion Pit, Geographer and Andrew W.K. He's got an SF Bay Guardian 'Best of the Bay' and an SF Weekly 'Best of SF' on the wall and can be found every 1st Friday at The Knockout and intermittent weeknights on KALX 90.7 FM Berkeley. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and DJ partner Rocky, their son Diego and their cat Philbert.
