Ceremony DJs

Working with Ceremony DJs was a great experience. These folks really know and love music. They seemed to have as much fun as we did discussing our musical tastes in depth during the planning process, and they really cared about making the experience great for the bride and groom as well as all of the guests. They asked us great questions during the planning process, and were able to accommodate a venue that required 4 different music set-ups.

Our specific DJ Benji/Mophono was organized, on-time, played great music and basicially made the experience seamless for us. Feedback from the out of towners was that they had never been to a wedding where so many guests were dancing for so long. Would highly recommend!

Benji was hands down the BEST wedding DJ we could have asked for! His transitions were incredible, he read the room perfectly, and he was constantly adjusting the vibe based on who was out on the dance floor. What made it even more special was how thoughtfully he curated the music around us and our family and friends — somehow blending our Florida/Jimmy Buffett roots, our Nashville country side, and a wedding in Napa into a night that felt so personal and completely us. He had our younger friends AND our parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents all out on the dance floor!

Our venue had a slightly tricky setup with the dance floor in a separate area, but you would have never known it. Benji absolutely made the night and kept everyone dancing until the very last song. We had so many guests tell us how incredible the music was, and we truly could not recommend him enough!

Highly recommend, everyone at our wedding absolutely raved about the music!!! Jamie masterfully mixed all of our favorites and crowd-pleasers. Our dance floor was jam-packed all night. Hire them!!!

James and Aaron were instrumental to the success of our wedding day. From the large playlist we shared, they quickly understood our taste and curated music that made the day feel personal for us and meaningful for our guests. We especially appreciated the time they took to get to know us during our initial conversation, along with the thoughtful guidance they offered on details that ultimately elevated the overall experience. James is a total professional and a master of their craft! We loved the aesthetic and sound of the vinyl sets; it felt so much more personal and intentional than a standard wedding DJ. When planning our wedding, great music was one of the most important things and we specifically wanted someone who spun vinyl, James absolutely delivered. He created an incredible atmosphere during dinner and then transitioned into a full-on dance party. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last, and we had multiple guests tell us they loved the music. James was easy to work with, understood our 'must-plays,' and made the night unforgettable, we are so happy we picked him!

True music lovers and kind people! They were very involved from the beginning and helped us tailor our playlists so our wedding felt bespoke to us.

The team took several hours to meet with us, carefully combed our playlist, coordinated flawless timing of music in our ceremony, and made our wedding dance floor the only place to be! No one sat down all night, thank you!

PSA: you should only hire Ceremony DJs if you want the music to be the highlight of your wedding. So many of our friends and family told us that the music blew them away. From the beginning of our cocktail hour to the last song, Benji threw down... all while staying within the parameters of the music that we like and providing a ton of variety along the way. He would also chatting with some of our drunk friends that just wanted to nerd out about music and vinyl; truly a great emcee and entertainer. He did a great job of reading the room and keeping the energy high -- exactly what we wanted.

Working with Benji and Jamie leading up to the wedding was both enjoyable and easy. They didn't put too much pressure on us to curate a perfect playlist or anything like that. They made it clear from the beginning that you can really give them as much direction as you want. Trust them; they are true professionals who know what they're doing. I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding where the music is truly a point of emphasis.

James was literally the best DJ we could have asked for. He met with me and my husband multiple times to talk through music, how the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc would flow, curated playlists with us, and best of all - spun vinyl. We wanted so many different types of music (literally nothing mainstream or basic), and he made it flow so easily. Our friends still talk about how he was the best music dj at any wedding hands down. We cannot recommend him enough.
