I spent my childhood living in the Bay Area, and spent the last 15 years in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  I am very excited to be back in California where sunshine exists more than two months out of the year! I'm currently living in Campbell with my husband, Bob (an amazing landscape photographer) and our two adorable furry "kids", Bella and Bebo. 

 

I've had a camera in my hands since I can remember and it was the greatest moment in 2006 when I decided I wanted to make photography my full time job. For years I trained with an amazing portrait and wedding photographer, Angela Cardas, and also assisted at Polara Studio in Portland. I attended the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in 2009 and started my business full time shortly after that.

 

One of my favorite things is to photograph weddings including all the festivities involved! Every wedding I've been fortunate to be part of has held a very special place in my heart. Each and every time I feel like I'm part of that family, capturing the unique moments that belong to them; memories that are cherished forever.

 

Portrait sessions are like a continuation of a wedding! I'm thrilled to document every special occasion including newborns, first years, families, high school seniors, etc. When it comes to portrait sessions, I'm mainly an on-location photographer but I do have  studio equipment if you prefer a more traditional setting. For many reasons, all of my newborn sessions are done in a studio setting.

 

I believe that when people are having fun, it's easy to get unique, natural-looking pictures. When I'm photographing a wedding or portrait session, I'm in pursuit of capturing priceless moments and the emotions that go along with them. My style includes the essential characteristics of photojournalism, fine art, editorial, and lifestyle photography to create artful photographs that illustrate and inspire. Whether it's your wedding day, engagement session or family portraits, I want to be your photojournalist every step of the way.
