From intimate gatherings to elegant celebrations, Bellwether Beach Resort has romantic ceremony sites, beautifully redesigned ballrooms, stunning views, and unique indoor/ outdoor venues. Retreat to one of their indoor venues perfect for hosting any part of your wedding day celebration. The elegant and spacious venues are perfect for receptions, cocktail hour, brunch, and indoor ceremonies. The Oceans Edge Ballroom can accommodate up to 140 guests, and is located within steps from the beach. Featuring a wraparound outdoor terrace, it's the ideal space to host your cocktail reception, and allow for a great flow of indoor and outdoor space for your reception. The Gulf Vista Ballroom can accommodate up to 110 guests. The Gulf Vista Ballroom is located on the 10th floor and penthouse level of Bellwether Beach Resort. This elegant ballroom overlooks the stunning St. Pete Beach views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Your forever moment awaits here. The only thing missing are those two precious words everyone is waiting to hear.
Services Offered
Bellwether Beach Resort has on-site coordinators to help plan your wedding with everything from the ceremony and reception location, to the decor and the menu. Their experienced wedding professionals will help make your dream wedding a reality. Catering services are available on-site and you have the opportunity to tastes dishes before selecting them to be served as a buffet, plated dinner, stations, or cocktail reception with hors d'oeuvres. AMAZING Wedding venue!!!!
We had the most magical and perfect wedding here!!! We are based in New Jersey and we took a leap of faith in booking the Gulf Vista Ballroom for our dream beach destination wedding without seeing it in person. We did everything remote up until 2 months before our wedding. We fell in love with the photos of the venue online because of its unique ocean view reception! And honestly the photos actually don’t do it justice as we were blown away by how beautiful this hotel is when we first saw it in person!!
From being right on the beachfront to the amazing ocean views from our room and the reception, we couldn’t be happier with our experience!! We are so glad we chose Bellwether for our wedding!!!
From the moment we booked the venue and up until we checked out, the service was absolutely phenomenal and the staff were all professional, friendly and attentive! The staff at Bongos and level 11 made our visit extra special. I don’t think we met anyone who was not friendly and helpful!
Our wedding event manager Amalfi Lopez was top notch and helped us every step of the way with wedding planning and beyond. We would give her 10 star out 5!! She went above and beyond. We couldn’t have pulled off a the most magical destination wedding without her help!
Our families and friends who all flew in from different parts of the country had an absolute great time!! The food from the reception to all their restaurants were all so goood! Got plenty of compliments from our guests!! We even hosted our wedding guests for brunch at Bongos after the wedding and everything was delicious! We all had a great time.
Thanks Bellwether for making our dream wedding come true! It was truly a wedding in paradise!!! We created priceless memories here with our families and friends!! We will be back for our first year wedding anniversary April 2025!!!!

Courtney Blount-Mannix is the Director of Catering Sales at Bellwether Beach Resort. She is a true Floridian having grown up in Brandon, Florida. Courtney has worked at many iconic resorts in the state and personally planned hundreds of Weddings and Events on St Pete Beach over the past 13 years. Courtney loves running, lounging by the pool and spending time with her husband, Josh, and their three dogs, Charlotte, Oscar and Penelope.

Stunning venue and beach site, catering staff is great to work with!!
We have worked with the Grand Plaza Resort for over 17 years. The banquet rooms are Awesome! Be sure to check out the Presidential Ballroom - best on the beach. All employees are hospitable - they know how to treat their guests. The sales staff is attentive to brides' and grooms' needs and make their wedding experience perfect! You will be happy you chose the Grand Plaza for your wedding and reception location.
The Grandplaza has the most spectacular view on St. Pete Beach from the Presidential Balllroom. I recommend this room for weddings less than 80 guests, however if you are having a larger wedding, the imperial ballroom is elegant and will wow your guests. The food is unmatched and the catering staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. I give them five stars and highly recommend the Grandplaza to my future clients.
