Southern Charm Weddings & Events

Southern Charm Events is a proud member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and American Association of Wedding Planners.  They have been voted Best of the Knot for 2011 and 2012 and have received WeddingWire's Bride's Choice Award for 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.  They also have recently been voted Best of Jacksonville by the readers' poll for the Jacksonville Bride Magazine.

 They specialize in Southern Style Weddings and bringing that special touch of Southern Hospitality to any event.  This fast moving company has one lead planner and two associate planners on staff.  They are able to handle the smallest group to a very large wedding or gala with ease.  

Their packages are designed to help the DIY Bride with the coordination of her big day or the out of town, still in school Bride plan and coordinate all the little details.  Their main focus is to relieve the Bride and her mother from the stress associated with the final planning stages.

Tanya, was so wonderful to work with, she is not a day of coordinator she is an overall coordinator, beginning with our first meeting, I knew this was exactly the type of person I needed to make all the small details of my day come together. She contacted all vendors and made sure that we understood all our contracts and made sure everything went according to schedule (she even created an extremely detailed timeline for the event, to keep everyone on track). We had a problem with out DJ but Tanya took it and dealt with it without the Groom or I ever having to lift a finger. She is truly a dream come true for any bride!

The Perfect Pear Catering Co
I recently had the pleasure of working with Tanya and her staff and I was so impressed! As a caterer we work with numerous event planners and to be honest most turn out to be more of a hinderance than a help - standing around eating, drinking and chatting while myself and my staff work to put on a flawless event... Tanya was the exception to this and proved to be a huge help to myself and my staff - always on hand with an answer or solution and more than willing to put in the extra effort to make the bride and the guests comfortable and the event running smoothly. She and her staff were on site early, had things organized for us when we arrived and stayed until the end to ensure everything was returned to the bride and everything was in order. I cannot wait to work with Southern Charm Events again and will be certain to recommed them to any bride that asks!!
