The Ribault Club is a historic wedding venue located in Jacksonville, Florida. Set on Fort George Island, this 100-acre waterfront parkland is filled with beauty and elegance to offer the perfect backdrop for any wedding day. The Ribault Club was built in 1928. Since then, it has been the host for many classy events. Recently restored, this historic waterfront location is the perfect place to host an exclusive wedding. Offering the best in simple elegance, The Ribault Club maintains a steadfast composure of unpretentious accommodation.
Facilities and Capacity
Set on private waterfront property, The Ribault Club boasts waterfront sites to host your big day. Outdoor spaces provide access to lush lawns with the Fort George River in the background. The outdoor venues can accommodate seating for up to 175 guests. An indoor wedding can be held in the mansion, an architectural masterpiece designed by the famous Swiss-native, Maurice Fatio. Its neoclassical elements serve to elevate the space. Arches, fluted pilasters, and wainscoting can be found throughout the premises, adding a charm to the entire house. An awe-inspiring 36 sets of French doors offer a breathtaking view of the river and Talbot Island, adding to the romanticism of any celebration. The estate features a ballroom, fit for a grand, unforgettable party. In total, The Ribault Club is able to accommodate 350 of your closest friends and family. It may be rented out in its entirety or via smaller sections for more intimate affairs.

We were looking for a venue that was both affordable and gorgeous, and The Ribault Club fit the bill flawlessly. We loved being able to pick our own vendors (hello, taco bar!) and having enough space to dance the night away. They also provided all of our tables and chairs, which really helped us in keeping the cost and additional vendor involvement to a minimum.
The staff was always professional and warm to us. We mainly worked with Marie, Madi, and Deborah, who were all welcoming and accommodating. Emails and phone calls were always answered promptly. They were flexible with us and did their best to ensure our day went exactly as we pictured it.
And last but not least, our day-of coordinator, Summer, knocked it out of the park. We went with the in-house coordination and it was one of the best decisions we made. She was so attentive and ensured our special day ran smoothly from start to finish. Her knowledge of the venue and her experience in wedding coordination were apparent from day one. We could not have had such a perfect, stress-free experience without her, and we are beyond grateful for her and the whole Ribault Club staff.
If you’re considering The Ribault Club as your wedding venue, you can’t go wrong with them. The grounds alone guarantee a gorgeous wedding and their staff will make sure you have a beautiful, unique day!
