Music Makes You Happy DJ’s are fun, experienced and love what they do. Our company keeps up with the latest music, trends and technology and can bring a real energy to your event! If your event requires something unique or different, we are happy to work with you to get exactly what you want. We have been DJ-ing weddings and events for over 9  years, and are fully insured. We abide by the national DJ Code of Conduct, carry back-ups for our back-up equipment and if your DJ has an emergency, we always have another professional on call!

About our DJ's

Chris is the owner and founder of Music Makes You Happy Entertainment. He has been a professional DJ for over 13 years and has well over 300 events under his belt! While attending Christopher Newport University, Chris spent a lot of his time performing on stage with various theater groups so he understands what is needed from an emcee to lead and entertain an audience. With his experience and training coupled with his ability to read any crowd, Chris is an excellent choice for your wedding or special event!

Greg joined Music Makes You Happy Entertainment this year but has years of experience in event planning, consultation and execution. Greg spent several years running events at the Freeman Center at Christopher Newport University and uses that expertise running events for Music Makes You Happy. Greg has a deep understanding of all kinds of music, from The Beatles to Toby Keith to Jay Z. It’s fair to say that his appreciation and knowledge of music is something not seen everyday. Greg truly is our music consultant!

Brad is our party starter. Chris and Brad met in college and immediately started performing on stage together. That chemistry was quickly realized and utilized behind the DJ table. Brad took over one of the original microphones while attending Christopher Newport and only stepped away from the table briefly to earn his MBA from Syracuse. Armed with an amazing personality, an unbeatable ability to read a crowd and an infectious energy, Brad is an awesome DJ and emcee. Attend one of his events and you will understand why he is our party starter!
