Thank you, Matt, for your time, commitment, and support in serving as a fantastic DJ for our wedding in Alexandria, VA. Upon hiring, Matt was responsive about his services and style as a wedding DJ, and it was clear that the previous reviews from other clients rang true. The prices were within our budget, and the planning of music for each specific portion of our wedding day was so convenient with the accessible and organized Vibo app. Using the app, we could write specific notes about every portion of the day requiring music from the pre-ceremony to the end of the reception. We also had live vocalists for the ceremony, and Matt had equipment prepared for them too. Matt was especially flexible during the reception to be able to play music in both the indoor and outdoor spaces (a change made due to unpredictable weather), and our guests clearly enjoyed dancing the night away. Matt was the DJ for our wedding on 10.21.21. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and did such an amazing job as a DJ and MC for our event. Our guests stayed on the dance floor the entire night. Everyone loved him and cannot stop talking about how great of a job he did. We would definitely recommend him to anyone having any event requiring his services and we will definitely book him again in the future!

Working with Matt was so easy! I had to plan this wedding in two months and probably did not find Matt until a month before. He was so helpful with all my questions! I also loved how all the services he used for his song choices, photo booth backdrop, etc. were all so user-friendly! Even when it got down to the wire and I had only given him songs choices for specific wedding events, he was willing to use a Spotify playlist I sent him to get ideas for the rest of the ceremony and reception. Our main goal during this wedding was to celebrate life and love and for everyone to have a blast. Everything that Matt did for our wedding ensured that our guests had the time of their life! Matt Chambers at Squared Away Entertainment was amazing, no if’s, ands, or buts. He was very thorough in finding out who we were as a couple before our wedding and our music tastes as well as our guests. His DJ skills are great and his song transitions are on point with great skills in reading the room! 10/10!

Matt at Squared Away Entertainment went above and beyond our wedding dj expectations. We met with him in person leading up to the wedding to go over music tastes and expectations for our day. He gave us access to an app we shared to make a timeline for music. When he found out I’m a big Taylor Swift fan he made sure to make our wedding our own Taylor Swift concert. It was amazing. My husband and I are so grateful for the detail Matt put into our dj experience. He was available to answer any questions, came to our rehearsal to make sure he was prepared for the big day, and our guests have continued to rave about how great he was that day. We would recommend Matt to anyone!

We almost didn’t hire a DJ because we figured why not just make a big Spotify playlist, but man Matt was very worth the money. First of all he was very affordable and responsive. I loved that he set up 2 sound systems one for the inside and outside space. That was a very welcome surprise that I didn’t even think to ask for! Very professional and a smooth announcing voice.

Matt was awesome!! He was super responsive through the entire wedding planning process, answered all of my questions within minutes and made our wedding so fun! He even texted to check on my multiple times. I didn’t have time to complete my song list and he picked the perfect music to match our wedding and guests! Everyone had a blast! He took requests and adjusted some of my songs last minute when I changed my mind. Definitely recommend!

Matt was an incredible part of our wedding day. He spoke to us in detail about the set up, and talked us through what all he would be doing. He prepared a sound system not only for the reception, but for the ceremony as well (which was in another building across town). He added some surrounding lights to our reception hall and it looked truly incredible! Married 11/9/2019
