What a great remodel. A very unique place for any event.
The Museum of Latin American Art (MoLAA) is an outstanding Southern California location to have a ceremony and reception. Prior to your reception your guests are invited to wander through the incredible exhibits in the gallery. Inspiring artwork by Latin artists are every changing and interesting. The outdoor sculpture garden is colorul and vibrant, with modern clean lines and native cactus flowers. Receptions are held in the expansive Balboa Room with features floor to ceiling posters of past exhibits. The event staff lead by Hazel Walker is always attentive, professional and knowlegeable. That combined with TGIS catering, is a sure fire hit with all my clients. I've enjoyed working there in the past and I'm looking forward to another wedding at this location in 2008. For clients who want a modern, latin flair to their wedding, I always turn to MoLAA.
I love doing weddings at the Museum of Latin American Art; it's brand new and beautifully maintained, and the design elements both inside and out make for a memorable and stylish event. MoLAA's banquet manager Hazel Walker is one of my favorite event professionals ever, efficient, knowledgeable, and kind; your event at Long Beach's coolest wedding space will be well run with Hazel at the helm.
