Beautiful venue

The Catalina Room was the perfect venue for my wedding two weeks ago. It was great working with Swathi on booking this venue and she was very informative leading up to our event. Pastor Joe and his team were amazing at making sure we had everything setup as requested. They worked with our vendors even though we weren't there during the setup window since our wedding ceremony was at the same time as the setup window. It truly was a blessing to book this venue. Highly recommended!!!

Great experience, easier than I thought.

Venue is pretty and big just what we needed. Swathi is flexible and extremely nice punctual and professional so glad we choose this venue .

A perfect place for a magical evening

The Catalina Room is a fantastic venue. It has two floors for a different experience, both are beautiful. We opted for the top floor, when lit up and decorated to your taste and theme, really becomes magical. Most of our guests commented on the beauty of the space. The support team there were responsive, flexible and always there to help. We ended up needing an extra hour for our vendors to setup properly and they happily worked with us on that. They also had great recommendations for vendors to customize our event. All in all, we're very happy we went with them and highly recommend it to others!

Simply AMAZING!!! I had so many compliments on this venue. Not only is it reasonable prices for everything they provide but it goes to a good cause. Great location and let me just say Swathi M. Is amazing so professional and helped me do much I will never forget all your help.

We decided to so our wedding at the Catalina Room !I can't stress it enough this place is wonderful . When we first came into see it , we said this is it and to top it it's right by the ocean which you also get a view!. Swathi was who we communicated with let me tell you she is great!! . She helped us out with what we needed from answering our last question to finding best vendor to making sure we didn't miss anything!! They do have a lower level as well where you can have your ceremony than come up 2nd level for your reception but we decided to do ceremony and reception on the same floor . It was beautiful definitely recommend you take a moment to check this venue out !

The Catalina Room is the simply the hottest and most beautiful event space here in the South Bay! The restoration to this historic Moderne architectural landmark is spectacular, which is why they have received two Preservation Design Awards. Both the interior and exterior are elegant and classic, and also very contemporary. And, wow, the vaulted ceiling! There are views of the ocean, which it is right across from. And the events manager is a dream to work with: Every detail was managed with utmost attention, as though it was her own occasion. Go there, check it out. They have my highest recommendation.

Ask about chair options and valet parking. We saved quite a bit by choosing less expensive chairs (which we liked better) and waiving the valet parking option. The 8 hours provided in the contract was not enough for us, so we had to purchase additonal hours for set up and clean up. There is a buy out for not using their preferred caterer's and bar service. We used Sunseri's and they were great. We paid the buy out to use our own caterer as we found the preferred caterer's to be very expensive. We used MTB rentals (who also provide the chairs) for dishes and linens and had a good experience with them.
The Catalina room staff was wonderful to us and we had such a fun wedding and reception all in the main room with 150 guests. I highly recommend this venue for South Bay weddings.
