About Us

"I have wanted to be a make up artist since I was a little girl (loved my Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers Lip Balm!). I clocked many hours as a child and teen drawing fashion illustrations of women. Ever since I can remember I have been passionate about art, fashion, and color! I was born with facial birth defect that caused much scaring on delicate facial tissue. During my many corrective surgeries I researched how to apply makeup to make the most of my assets and minimize my scars. Besides wanting to beautify my scars...I really fell in love with the art of makeup and I believe every person possesses beauty. I love that my job as a makeup artist makes people truly smile and maybe even love them self a little more. When you look good, you feel great!

In college, I pursued my second love, counseling. While in private practice, I started oil painting lessons with a local portrait artist. I have been painting ever since and my favorite subject to paint is people. So, at the tender age of 38 years old, I left counseling to go for what I am truly passionate about, makeup! Being trained by one of Richmonds best makeup artists, Joy Pfister of Faces by Joy I hope to share my talent with you! I stay up on the latest trends and techniques in makeup. There are always new things to learn in the beauty world! I look forward to working with you and making your special day even more beautiful!" -Lulu
