I had the pleasure of working with Genevieve and Nick for a recent wedding at the Old Ebbitt Grill in DC.
The bride was not having a great day but Genevieve & Nick went above and beyond to help put her at ease.
I work this venue every month and what really impressed me was they dressed appropriately and brought adequate gear to allow for ideal lighting in the Atrium.
Not only is the Atrium hostile to conventional sound reinforcement, its 150ft ceiling does not allow for bounced flash. You would be surprised how many photographers try and sacrifice on lighting - or bring way too much and blind everyone.
I see photographers all the time and Genevieve Leiper really stood out. Not to mention their work is absolutely stunning.
I can't wait to work with them in the future.
Genevieve is an incredibly talented wedding photographer, and is also a pleasure to work with! A recent client hired her to photograph their wedding, and I was amazed by not only her ability to capture all the standard parts of the wedding, but also her artistic ability to go so far beyond that. Her photos evoke the emotions of the day, the beauty of the surroundings, and are fantastic works of art. I highly recommend her!
Working with Genevieve is always a treat. Not only are her images fantastic (which you can see on her website) but she has a fantastic spirit and personality. Spending 8-10 hours at a time with her on wedding days is a pleasure and brides who work with her are equally as thrilled. She's a great value and certainly is very talented.
Genevieve and I first met a few years ago and since then have become, not only business colleagues but, good friends. With Genevieve as your photographer, you not only get a photographer but, you will get a good friend in the end. She works closely with her brides from the start to the very end to ensure you will be extremely satisfied with her work and delivery on your wedding day.
