Additional Questions and Answers
What kind of equipment do you use?

We use high-end professional sound systems including Denon CD players, mp3 players, and Electro-Voice speakers - all powered by a 1,600-watt amplifier. A UHF wireless microphone system and lighting is included in all packages. We also carry necessary on site back-up equipment.
How much and what kind of music do you have?

Each DJ has over 13,000 songs in his library including the most current pop/top 40 hits. We have helpful song lists so that you may customize what we play. If we don’t yet have a specific request - we’ll purchase it. (That’s how we build our collection.)

How do you dress, and will you eat or take breaks?

We wear a tuxedo for wedding receptions. We won’t eat or drink alcoholic beverages, and we won’t take unnecessary breaks. The music is played continuously for the entire event.

Who chooses the music that will be played?

You may have as much control over the music selection as you wish, or you can simply leave it up to us. We’ll work with you to provide the right mix for you and your guests. We also provide a "Top 200" list of popular dance songs you can use as a guide to select tunes for your special occasion.

Do you just play music?

We act as the emcee and coordinate all planned activities with the other professionals. We specialize in interacting with guests so they participate in the celebration.

How would you describe your style?

Our approach can vary from low-key to highly interactive depending on the wishes of the customer. In a nutshell - classy but fun. We put the spotlight on the guests of honor and not ourselves. As professional DJ’s, we realize our job is to facilitate a memorable occasion for everyone.

Will I know which DJ will perform at my event?

Absolutely! With some other DJ companies, brides don’t know which DJ will play until a week or so beforehand. Without knowing the DJ, how will you know his qualifications? Will you like his personality? At Frank Lebano & Company we exhibit the highest ethical standards by putting your DJ’s name on the contract.
Are you licensed and insured, and do you belong to any organizations?

We are licensed by the state of Florida (#0205473) and carry $1,000,000 liability insurance through the Fireman’s Fund. Also, we are members of the National Association of Catering Executives, the Better Business Bureau, and the American Disc Jockey Association.

Do you play at wedding ceremonies?

Yes. Our ceremony package includes music played through a standard size professional sound system complete with a wireless microphone for the officiate. We start with 1/2-hour of prelude music, we play the processionals, interlude music (if necessary), recessional, and postlude music.

How much do you charge?

Our all-inclusive 4-hour wedding reception rate ranges from $395-$695, depending on the date. It’s best to call or request a price quote for your event from this website. A 30% deposit is asked to reserve your DJ.

Tips and Advice
                                                                                                                            WEDDING MUSIC

The groom’s a little bit country, the bridesmaids are a little bit rock and roll. Mom’s big on Sinatra, but she married the original doo-wop daddy. The aunts and uncles prefer polkas, chicken dances, and similar spectacles.

How do you select music that fits everybody? It’s an interesting question since the entertainment plays no small role in the success of a wedding reception. Many years from now your guests will remember few details, but they will likely recall whether or not they enjoyed themselves.

Your Frank Lebano & Company DJ would work closely with you to share a common vision…building upon your preferences, the guests expectations, and our insight to produce an entertainment program that will make your wedding reception a most memorable event.

For dancing, we suggest choosing a wide variety of fun, popular songs your guests will know and enjoy. You may also select music for the cocktail & dinner hours.

We’d make every effort to get your guests to participate in the celebration, but nothing works better than the guests of honor participating themselves. Dancing, like laughter, is contagious. So feel free to “cut a rug”. You’ll see that your guests will be enjoying themselves right along with you.

I appreciate your interest in my DJ service for your wedding reception. We’d love to work with you so please let me know if we can be of any service on your special day.

Best wishes,

Frank Lebano
