The Don Room at El Cortez is San Diego’s most beautiful space designed to embrace your most important day.  Since 1927 the Don Room has not only served as host site for Presidential parties and numerous special events, but it has also served to hold the delightful memories of couples who have entrusted their special day to this historic site.

The 24 karat carved ceiling imparts a golden glow over guests, and at its heart hangs the original mica glass and gilt chandelier.  The intimate shape of the room gives rise to a sense of connection with your guests who have come to unite with you on your most important day.  The room adjoins to a 10,000 square foot outdoor patio with an urban fireplace and gently illuminated fountain.
