Originally built in 1910, The Historic Abbey has been thoughtfully reimagined while preserving the architectural character that makes the venue so special. Couples can celebrate their entire wedding day in one location, from an intimate indoor ceremony to cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and a late-night celebration.

One of the venue’s newest and most unique features is the Underground Speakeasy, an atmospheric lower-level space that adds an entirely different experience within The Abbey. The Speakeasy gives couples another memorable setting to incorporate into their wedding celebration and makes The Abbey unlike virtually any other wedding venue in San Diego.
