We have worked with Wendy and seen her in action and boy is she on the ball and organized. A bride is lucky to get her.
Wendy is aboslutely by far the most organized person I know. She thinks of everything and is very dependable. She has so many contacts in the industry she could likely find just about anything that you can imagine. She provides value by saving brides and partners, time, effort, energy and ultimately money. She is the fairy godmother of weddings...
Wendy of Each and Every Detail is the consummate professional and really knows her business. She is organized and motivated to help all brides have the most perfect day possible. Her friendly and funny disposition makes her a joy to work with, both as a vendor and a bride. I highly recommend brides hire Wendy from Each and Every Detail.
Wendy is one of those planners who is always on top of things. She is professional and courteous to everyone involved while making sure the schedule goes according to plan. She even looks out for the other vendors! Making sure everyone is happy and taken care of makes the event run like clockwork on all sides! She is great a communication and so even-tempered. This is especially important on the wedding day when emotions run high and someone who can keep everyone level-headed is vital! We love Wendy's weddings!
Wendy is a fabulous wedding planner. It is a pleasure to work with her.
Wendy is the best wedding coordinator I have worked with! She is always on top of everything that is asked of her. She is friendly and so helpful. She even helped me load my carriage into my trailer at the end of a wedding we had just worked. I recommend her for making every bride's life a lot easier and manageable through the planning phases to the end of the reception.
Each & Every Detail says it all! Wendy thinks of all of the details and her creativity and professionalism show in everything that she does.
Wendy Kidd, owner of Each and Every Detail is incredible to work with! Besides having a very sharp eye for detail, extensive training and certification, and ideas that will leave you in awe, she has the most "real" and sweet personality of any event planner I've met. Wendy makes people instantly feel extremely comfortable and there isn't one element of event design she can't pull off. Oh, and talk about prepared...she brings to each event literally a suitcase full of all the essential items you might need on the big day. We at Circle Park Bridal absolutely love love love working with Each and Every Detail!
Each and every detail says it all! Such incredible personal service and attention to detail is a rarity in this business.. and Wendy has it to a perfection. She will go above-and-beyond for her brides so that they understand and receive the full value of a wedding planner.. and so much more. There isn't a wedding around that wouldn't benefit from using Each and Every Detail to make their special day a drama-free, enjoyable day.
Wendy is very familiar with our facility and is great to work with!

Additional Questions and Answers

My venue/DJ says they can help me and I don’t need a wedding planner. Can I just depend on them?
First, what service are they offering you? If they are offering coordination on your big day, and they have the training to do how do they plan to execute it? Will they be there the entire day, for setup and breakdown? Do they have an assistant to help them while they are performing their main duties? Unfortunately, many say they are offering this or more and it does not end up being the case. When someone offers you planning services, you need to get specific with them to find out exactly what they can and cannot help you with. Also, find out their qualifications and how they perform their services. If they are representing themselves as a wedding planner, they need to be qualified, just like I am. It’s my opinion that you should do one thing and do it well, I prefer to use vendors who do not offer planning services in addition to their main “gig” to handle both. If you’d like my help in determining the answer to this question, feel free to ask me during your initial consultation. That’s what I’m here for!

Will you save me money?
Absolutely Yes!  I do this 3 different ways:  First, through knowing my vendors and what their services entail, I can negotiate a great price for the services and products you want.  I know this industry, what market prices are like and where vendors are likely to bend or swap out items.  Second, I prevent you from overspending because I do not recommend items that are outside of your budget range.  Plus, i'll review any proposal you receive and give you advice on where to apply your hard-earned money.  Third, I save you time.  You'll not be spending every lunch hour, time in the car, every Saturday and more on planning your wedding.  I cut out all the unnecessary work and streamline the process so you don't have this burden on your shoulders.

What if we don’t want a traditional wedding or reception?
I LOVE the non-traditional. If you want to do something different, just call me and let’s talk about it. It’s your wedding, do it your way! I do not serve as the etiquette or wedding police. I’m simply here to guide you in making your wedding day as personal as possible.

Tips and Advice

When do I hire who?
One of my favorite tips to give is what order you should hire your vendors.  Here’s the order I prefer:

1.  Hire a wedding planner and find your venue
If your would like a wedding planner to help you from A to Z, this is obviously the first vendor you’ll find.  Immediately after, you’ll start looking at venue choices.  (If you are not hiring a planner for the entire process, you can wait until you feel you need their help.)  Your venue is probably the biggest determining factor when deciding on a wedding date.  Plus, it sets the style and tone of your wedding, so it helps to determine what vendors you’ll need.  Venues also have preferred vendors they work with, so you have the opportunity to see who has worked well there before.

2.  Hire those who only work one wedding a day.
The photographer, videographer, officiant, entertainment and specialty transporation (like a horse carriage) usually fall within this category.  Those who only work one wedding a day book fast, so you’ll need to go ahead and place a deposit to make sure you reserve those you truly want to help with your special day.  If you have not hired a wedding planner yet, they also fall into this category.

3.  Work from the biggest budget item down.
Your top budget item will be the food and beverages.  If this is not included with your venue, you’ll need to start shopping for an outside caterer.  The next vendor will depend upon your priorities, but here’s a common order I follow:  florist, rentals (including linens), transportation (such as a limo), bakery (for your cake or other dessert choice).
