Yes, unfortunately it'll just be a father daughter dance. F.H mom will be with us in spirit.

My dad is escorting me down the aisle (but so is my mom), and we'll probably have the parent dances, but other than that, we're doing none of these.

I am doing none of these

My son will be walking me down the aisle and giving me away...I'm not having a traditional wedding cake...my cake will be for illusion and pictures ONLY however I will have a dessert table with assorted desserts including assorted cakes. Also due to the fact that I am having a destination wedding I'm sure there is a few other things that I might have to change around.

I have listened to Paul Simon songs, since I was a child. It was a pleasant surprise to hear this newer song and I selected it for the father/daughter dance.
My fiancé found the song “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts and he decided to choose it for the mother/son dance.

I'm ditching...

We're ditching the bouquet toss and the garter toss, personally I've never liked it so we're not doing it. We are not registering for china either, and the cake will be cut by the people in the venue, not us. We're ditching the "carrying over the threshold" thing, too dangerous after a party night.

We're sleeping separately the night before the wedding. I'm going to be wearing a veil and although my dad passed away, my grandfather will escort me down the aisle and will dance with me. I guess I'll be standing on the left side but I did not know that was considered a tradition. I wanted to do and I'm trying to find my "old, new, borrowed, and blue," I'm having a hard time with the old and the borrowed things though. My wedding party is pretty much a traditional one, s I guess we're doing that one too.

I'm not wearing a veil, my wedding party is not traditional, and skipping the garter toss. (I think the garter toss is creepy).
