My dress is a $1500 Demetrios gown. The veil was originally $260 but I only paid $60 because of a promotion they had where you could get a free veil up to $200 if you booked an appointment from a showcase I went to. No alterations just yet.
Mine is oleg cassini it was $1400 but I got it on sale for $1300. My sister bought her dress a couple weeks before me and hers was just $300 and she loved it. Unfortunately the one I loved was a bit more lol
I paid 1220 for my Alfred Angelo. Originally 1500. Needs 180 in alterations. A bit over my budget but I didn't like any other dress nearly as much as I loved this one.
I paid about $1,100 including alterations. The dress itself was around $890, but the alterations were around $300. My veil was $100. I intended to spend only $600. NOPE.
$855 a Mori Lee gown with tax and all. I went to a trunk show at a local dress shop and all her dresses were 10% off for the show. No additional cost for plus size either. The alterations will be capped at $300. I love Mori Lee dresses. Glad I could get one I love and under budget.
I paid $1600 for my dress (Kenneth Winston), look at Mori Lee dresses she's a great designer. Most of her gowns are inspired by Berta and she has great prices!!! $1k and under.
I paid $1450 for my dress a little out of my budget but I did not want to settle and be unhappy. So I went for what made me happy! But I sure wish I could have stayed within my $**** budget.
I was on a budget too. I actually didn't want to spend more than $500-$800 dollars. When I told the woman in the bridal shop that she looked at me like I had three heads. However, she ended up talking to the owner and they told me that if I picked any of the "clearance" dresses I could have it for $500. There were about 7-8 dresses on the clearance rack. She encouraged me to try them all on as alterations can be made. The one I ended up with is an original Watters. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the dress....it was on clearance because the style had been retired. I'm so in love with my dress. It's romantic and amazingly well-made. I'm so happy that I didn't have to settle for a "cheap" dress from the typical bridal shop that won't be named....I have a beautiful originally $4,000 dress on budget.
My mom offered to buy my dress.. She said $2,000 limit. I went to a small boutique called sew and sew in nj- and the prices were great! I tried on maybe 6 dresses and fell in love with a Stella York dress she just put in the window that morning.. It was $1295... And it's amazing!! so in love with it!
