I made it myself and spent $80, then with shoes, petticoat, bustier..... it all came up to $300. I think it was the cheapest thing of all our expenses!
Demetrios gown, snagged it for $1,800, retails between $2,300-$2,500; My alterations wouldn't have been much but I had to add a fancy black lace to the top and bottom, so with all that plus a hem, bustle and slight taking in of the bust the total alterations came to $500.
I paid $375 for my dress from a place called church street bridal which gets dresses from kleinfelds and other places all over the east coast and sells them at rescued cost and all money goes towards domestic violence! My dress had its original tag and was worth about $2000
I spent around $990 on my wedding dress. It is a satin, sweetheart neckline trumpet style dress. It was originally around $1200, but I took advantage of the sale going on which saved me a lot of money! In total I paid $1200, which included my veil and headpiece

I spent $1100 on a Moonlight gown, you can make additional changes to the gown for $100. The bridal shop I purchased from gave me a veil for free. Luckily, I needed few alterations, totaling $80.
I bought a sophia tolli dress at a trunk show for $1948. I won't be seeing my dress until about the same time as stores will be getting their sample dresses in. For that price I had better still love it when I see it!
I spent around $990 on my wedding dress at Alfred Angelo. It is a satin, sweetheart neckline trumpet style dress. It was originally around $1200, but I took advantage of the sale going on which saved me a lot of money! In total I paid $1200, which included my veil and headpiece
I tried to save some on my dress that I would only wear once. I tried on all kinds of dresses from $500 up to $1500 - many of which I liked, but just couldn't see myself getting married in. I finally fell in love with a Pronovias that allowed me a veil and alterations and let me stay under my budget ($3000), but I sure didn't save anything!
