NWR: Have you ever met/seen someone famous in person?

I met Danny DeVito at the Cleveland airport...he came up to my shoulder. And I met Pat Leahy at my great uncle's hundredth birthday party...he was flanked by Secret Service because of the anthrax scare.

Oh forgot, I also met Tommy Lee from Montley Crew. My sister use to work at a club that he came and DJ'd at one night. She brought me back stage to meet him

I met Dane Cook when I was a Manager at Chick-fil-A lol, he came in to eat because he was in town for the shooting of Extreme Home Make Over when they came to Ft. Hood to help out a soldier that was injured in the Ft. Hood shooting...anyways I took his order and he was really nice and laid back.

I saw Billy Joel in a shoe store in NYC. We followed him around for a bit like loser stalkers, and then realized we were being rude so we left.

I have spoken (briefly) to Oksana Baiul and David Bryan from Bon Jovi. They called my office asking to speak to my boss. So it was pretty much me answering the phone, them asking for my boss and me asking "May I tell him who's calling?" Nothing like a convo or anything.

I live downtown Chicago and socialize for a living. I see celebs all the time. I am at the pool and Jesse Jackson is nearby right now having a drink. Oh saw Vince Vaughn yesterday. There are several pro athletes living in my building.

I work at hotel, and I have met Usher, Lady Gaga, Willie Nelson, some pro football players, Leanne Rimes, Brittney Spears.

I was a performer in a show choir as a child, so I have met a few. Dolly Parton, Dionne Warwick, and I have spent some time with a few of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in the early 90s. My favorite celeb meeting story, even tho its not mine: My cousin's best friend took Kelly Clarkson to their HS Prom!

I also used to hang out backstage with bands like Korn, Hot Action Cop, static X, Dope, Calico System (who broke up) and other metal bands. (No I was not a groupie, just friends!!)

Once my FH and I were in Madrid before I left to go back to the states, and there was a movie premiere, that was when Matthew Machonehay (sp?) was dating Penelope Cruz,it was her movie so we were with crowd of passer bys waiting, we saw them walk the red carpet..then the next morning i goton the plane and Matthew was sitting in first class (I was all distraught tho from leaving FH for this visit and was walking back to the coach section) so I didn't say hi or anything..plus imo i never saw the big deal about him anways..my Aunt was mad (jokingly) that I didn't say anything lol!

I met Robin Williams when I was skiing in Aspen - he was a snowboarder. :o)

Met Josh Groban - had backstage passes and got to hang out with him. After meeting him I ended up accidently meeting his entire band and hanging out with them - for a few years I actually kept in touch with their drummer! (SUPER cool- I was a Josh Groban fanatic)

I ran along side Drew Carey this past year at the Half Marathon.

Met Holly Madison in Vegas. HUGE fan - I was stoked. She was even more gorgeous in person!!! :o)

... my sister met dave chappell downtown. She thought he was homeless drug addict at first - and then realized who he was when he started talking. Apparently he looks very rough in person!

LEt see there was this pop girl group when i was little that i met but cant even remember the name of the group, they were one hit wonders. I've also met the lead singer and bassist of my fave rock band Escape the fate.

I met William Shatner. He shows horses and we showed at a lot of the same shows when I was little. I think he is hilarious as an actor but he is a JERK in real life. At least he use to be.

My brother was a HUGE trekky fan and when he was like 10 walked up to him while he was just sitting there and asked him if he could have an autograph. Will just said something rude to him and wouldnt give him one. Then later he was riding in a class that was sponsered by him and he fell off in the class! Ok if you fall of the horse your suppose to be eliminated! However he ended up winning....true story.

Also my great great grandfather was Fiddling John Carson.He is in the country music hall of fame now. Ironically I'm not a fan of country music LOL. They passed the name down through the guys so my dads name was Johnny Carson. It was very confusing when I was a kid trying to explain to people I was related to johnny carson but not the comedian Johnny Carson. lol I wish!

In college I worked at Dunkin Donuts in a Philly suburb. Terrence Howard came in every Saturday for coffee. He had only done the Ashanti video and Big Momma House by that time. I was the only one who recognized him and at first he tried to deny it. No mistaking those eyes though! I told my boss and he started caling him "Hollywood". He was modest, laid back, drove a Nissan and always chatted. He didn't do Hustle & Flow until a few years after I graduated and no longer worked there.

The dentist I work for is the official team dentist for The Philadelphia 76ers. I have cleaned a few players teeth, but I never bring up what they do and just keep it professional.

Oh shoot I forgot I met REM too. They came to a little horse show and were videoing some of the horses to mayb use in a video. I was really little and had NO idea who they were. They were petting my pony though and feeing her treats and stuff. They invited my mom and me back to one of the guys moms houses to go swimming (my mom said they were kinda drunk or something) and for dinner. She declined the invite, she didnt know who they were either. She just thought they were some random people with a camera enjoying the show. It wasn't until after they left that people told us who they were. I was 9 though and still had no idea who REM was.

PS I have very few people I would be star struck by but Sandra Bullock is ONE of them. I also want to meet Tom Hanks, Denzal Washington, Ryan seacrest and Ellen. So if anyone knows them have them call me!!! LOL

Though I think I might almost drive off the road too if Brad Pitt randomly pulled up next to me and winked!

I met our current president when he was in campaign; he stayed at the hotel I used to work and I was part of the "private staff" to assist him and his team. I have to admit he was very nice and polite.

I also met rihana at the same hotel =)

I work as a Civilian for the Army. I've met Gary Sinese (played golf with him), Toby Keith, Robin Williams, a bunch of pro wrestlers, a few Iron Chefs, American Idol finalists from the last three or so years, Fantasia, Darius Rucker (of Hootie and the Blowfish fame), CCR, Kelly Clarkson, Alan Jackson, and the past two Chiefs of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. That's just who I remember off of the top of my head...

Oh and Jacquiline O. Kennedy, forgot about her. She was a classy lady
