Mrs.T.to.Be

So our story.....well Travis and I are a part of the "1 in 5" statistic that met on an online dating site.  I was at work one day, reciently single and my boss suggested I try a site just for fun to get me out having fun and to meet new people, with no intention to take it too serious.  I sighed up on the site and Travis was one of the first to send me a message :) We talked through the site for about a week, then decided to meet in person for a drink after a work day.  Well the drink lasted 6 hours :)  The next day we planned to go to a concert together; which was fantastic (a few songs from that band we went to see will probably be played during the dance at our wedding) and after that, we pretty much spent every second day together. After about four months we both knew we had something really special.  Over the christmas holidays, he told me that he was in love with me (only 4 months in....I must be a big catch) and then we moved in together in early February, only 6 months of knowing one another. Travis took me on an amazing camping trip through British Columbia this past August.  He planned for us to visit mutual friends (friends that I had met through him), find amazing lakes and beaches to spend our summer vacation days on, and visit wineries (BC, especially the Okanogan is well known for wine) for fun.   Our first stop was Kelowna, and we had spent three nights camping in an apple orchard (very cool I must say).  He took me on a few wine tours and then out to dinner to an Irish pub that had the most amazing food and every type of cocktail or beer you could imagine.  After dinner, Travis took me on a walk around Okanogan lake where he brought me out onto a peer, and under the stars he asked me to marry him.  I have a very romantic man :) We have been engaged for 8 months and I can't wait to marry and spend the rest of my life with him :)
