My fiance and i just booked our venue, We've looked at all the venues around the area we live in, and finally found the one We are having it on a Saturday 125 people

& were paying $9000 which by us is a good price majority of the venues we looked at were around $11,000

Ahh I wish it wasnt sooo expensive!

So im curious to see what others are paying

The one I am leaning towards is $4000 for everything....the reception, huge Italian dinner buffet, cake, setup/cleanup, linens, favors, full open bar. (thats not including taxes) so out the door it should be around 5000.

    Congrats on booking your venue!!!!

If we end up going with the venue we like... $8855 w/ tax.

This is for the reception only - We have 65 Guests. This includes 4hr open bar, 5 hr reception, coctail hour w/ 6 passed hors dourves, salad starter, plated steak & crab cake dinner, cake, dessert bar, all tables, chairs & linens.

The other venues we saw that included the same were mid $9,000 - $10,000 for 60 people which we thought was a tad bit much.

Mine is free. I'm having mine at my home church. I would never pay thousands of dollars for 100 guests lol

Ours was a total of $45 Smiley smile

DH was very proud of me for finding something so cheap that at the same time, was so perfect for us (Slide Rock State Park in Sedona, AZ). This was for both the ceremony and the reception.

Sandy - it seems like you are getting a lot with that. I think its a pretty good quote.

Do you have to provide your own linens?

My venue for outside ceremony and indoor reception was 1650. That includes chairs (white garden) for the ceremony. Also tables for the reception, chairs for the reception (dark brown garden) and ivory linens. Also includes free water, ice tea and soda for my guests. This allows us to start set up at 10 am and reception has to end by midnight.

Mine is , well if all 150 come which I'm hoping not would be roughtly 6380 for sit down, 4 hours open bar, simple apps, reception coordinator, staff gratuity..so like 44 pp..26 for children if they get a kids meal. there is no room rental fee at all which is nice..also I don't have to pay alcohol for under agers since soft drinks are included with the dinner..i'm in nw PA so things are pretty decently priced in my area.
