How much is your wedding venue costing you!?

My fiance and i just booked our venue, We've looked at all the venues around the area we live in, and finally found the one We are having it on a Saturday 125 people & were paying $9000 which by us is a good price majority of the venues we looked at were around $11,000 Ahh I wish it wasnt sooo...

Ahh I wish it wasnt sooo expensive!

So im curious to see what others are paying

    $11,000 for two banquet rooms (one for ceremony and one for reception), this includes all food (not cake though), drinks and linens (chair covers, napkins) and set-up fees. It was greatly discounted as we are getting married in January and we saved around $3500 just for the off-season wedding.

    My venue was $2710 and that includes a $500 refundable deposit. However, it's just to rent the museum and the lawn... I still have to do rentals and food. It's really bare bones.

    Oh boy everyone's sounds great.. mine is costing $25,000.00 for 270 people not including $1300 for chair linens, $900 for florist,800.00 dj, 1200 photgrapher 1300.00 fro the rolls and hummer which is redicoulous cause we only have 4 ushers and 2 maids the cake was supposed to free part of the package but of course adding swags to it $100.00 170.00 for favors 2000 for my dress church is 500.00 boy did they get greedy and the reherseal dinner no clue what were doing yet.. so in that regards a fortune !!! ohh and 5000.00 for 21/2 weks in hawaii without food and hotel for one week.. and ohh he added a ciger roller for cocktail hour 250.00 plus 5.00 every cigar .. SHOOT ME NOW ..lol
