We chose ours based on what our favorite venue had available! It was either Friday, April 5th (might be too cold with no vineyards grown in), Sunday, May 12th (Mother's Day), or Sunday, June 28th (summer in Southern California - eeps on the heat!). We ultimately selected Mother's Day, May 12th, since it wasn't going to be too hot or too cold, and the vineyards would be green. A little risky doing it on a holiday, but my mom said it would be the best Mother's Day gift ever, so we went with it!

Fiance and I wanted October 2019, but all weekends in September and October at our venue were booked. We decided on October 10, 2020 because he liked the sound of the date.

I wanted to do this! It's such a sweet idea! He proposed on our 2 year anniversary and next year, that date is on a Saturday. He wanted to finish his college program before being married, so we picked October 2020.

I knew the year I wanted to get married and knew fall. So I had it narrowed down to September-November. Once we found the venue we loved we asked what they had available Saturday wise and picked one.

I always wanted an October wedding since I was a kid so naturally I chose October as my month! My roommate was talking about dates and was like omg you should get married on 10-10-2020 and I was like if it’s on a Saturday then it’s definitely a go. I looked and sure enough it lined up and then I chose my venue shortly after. My fiancé hates that it’s such a long engagement, but I’m in grad school and definitely don’t need the stress of planning a wedding while dealing with all of that!

We had just gotten back from a September wedding that was way too hot. Like seriously dripping sweat the whole time hot. We decided there was no way we were going to be that uncomfortable. We wanted a fall wedding because that would give us the most amount of time to come up with the finances for it. So then we were looking at October or November. My vacation rolls over October 1st and Dustin's rolls over October 20th. If the date was anywhere in between it would mess up our years. Out venue only had October 26th and November 2nd left, Because after the middle of November it starts to get cold in TN. I told my Fiance to pick out of the two. His parents anniversary is October 24th so he picked November 2nd.

We wanted to keep it simple. So we kept the date we became a couple as our wedding date. Some guy don't remember date so I gave him one date.

We are planning on having our wedding at a place where people would have to travel. Since we agreed that it will be in the South we didn't want it during the hot summer days so we decided on a late summer. Then we chose to have our date on a holiday weekend so people are able to travel home if needed Smiley smile

We weren't really looking at specific dates, but were looking into Fall or Spring. We eventually landed on my grandmothers anniversary date with my now-deceased grandfather, and my guardian angel. The engagement ring is my grandmothers as well, which holds even more special value to me. And to make it 3 for 3, the location we're planning on marrying at is my Grandmother's house, hopefully, depending on how things go.

We knew we wanted to be married in the winter and knew we wanted a longer engagement for ease of mind. We were engaged in March of this year and will be married in December of 2019. Smiley smile

I always wanted to get married in my anniversary, and my fiance agreed so we're getting married Valentine's Day 2020. By then it will be almost a 5 year engagement. I'm hoping to find a venue that allows outside catering but I'm still looking. Fingers crossed my fiance likes 1 threat I already found.

My Fiancé and I decided to get married on August 20, 2021 because we both want to graduate college first and start our careers. But that day is special to us because we met on Aug. 20 2016 ☺️

My job choice is causing it to be so far out. But we wanted a fall wedding and September was the least amount of holidays for our families.
