I know my FH is planning to get completely drunk at his bachelor party. Thats why we'r both having our parties two night before the wedding so no ones hung over the day of the wedding. But i worry one of his crazy friends or cousins will try and get a stripper. Even though he swears he doesnt want one. I also told them they cant right anything on his face or shave his head. (i heard about bachelor parties gone bad from some married friends) So what are your worries? Are you even worried at all? Please comment!

We are having our parties this weekend. I know theybwill go to a strip club which isn't my favorite thing but I know it's gonna happen. I don't worry because I know he loves me and wouldn't do anything to hurt me or jeopardize our relationship. Plus they will be in Washington where the strippers can't even get fully naked which they can here in MT. I just think if he respects you and your concerns he won't do anything to hurt ot upset you regardless what everyone has "planned" for him

Woah... that's a whole other issue, Chelsea. Why is it okay for him to have one but not for you? That is not cool.

We had two combined bachelorette parties. One was at Dave & Buster's (restaurant and arcade games). One was at a traditional Korean bathhouse. Neither involved strippers or alcohol. And given that both of us were present at each of the parties, there were no secrets about what was going on. So no, I didn't worry.

On the other hand, both of us have been to strip clubs in the past. It's not a major source of entertainment for us, but I wouldn't have been worried if she'd wanted to go to one.

However, I'm with Katebonnykate: If he wouldn't allow you to have strippers, he shouldn't have them either.

I'm worried that her party is going to be better than mine and that my best man is only going to get one stripper and she's not going to be hot enough.

I'm definitely not worried. FH doesn't drink, neither does his best man, and one of his groomsmen is only going to be 15. His best man doesn't do anything like strippers or bars either, and my brother (his other groomsmen, not the 15 year old) doesn't do bars because he can't smoke in them. So they're going to go set up targets and shoot them, and probably gophers, all day and just hang out.

I'm not going to have a party either, because I don't really drink/party anymore. My mom and MOH are going to throw me a shower a couple days/week before, and have fun games and stuff.

@katebonnykate Well he says he doesnt want one so its not really a double standard. But he has said he'd be mad if i had one. Have you ever see that show "breaking Bonaduce" Where his FW had strippers and he found out and went crazy. Yeah that could happend. LOL JK But he wouldnt like it, and neither would i. LOL he just read this comment as i was typing it and walks away saying 'stripper bad".

I'm with you chelsea. I know he isn't going to do anything with a stripper. But, it wouldn't be acceptable if some random chick at a club/party was naked and dancing for/on him, so why is it different just because it's a stripper? I've just never been comfortable with strippers. And spending so much money to see other women naked when he has me just offends me a little... *shrug*

Nope. We haven't decided what we want to do, but so far thinking we will do seperate things during the day and then we may have a joint party at a piano bar or something with the BP and some other friends. We live at the beach so if the wedding is here, good chance all our OOT friends will want to hit the beach.

If we do things seperatly going out and getting wasted is not on our "good times list".

FH and I came to an understanding a long time ago about what was and what was not acceptable behavior when your in a relationship. Both of us are mature enough to not allow ourselves to be put in a situation that might compromise the others trust in any way. If he is happy, I'm happy, and vice verse

Brittany- I wouldnt put much faith in your dad. They tend to be the wildest from my experiences!

Glenn- I've seen pics of your girl. She won't be nearly hot enough to compare...

As far as my FH's bach party- There will be plenty of alcohol. I'm sure there will be strippers. And there will be plenty of drunk fireman hitting on them. But I trust my FH- so no worries. If I didn't think I could trust him for one crazy night, I wouldn't be planning to spend the rest of my life with him.

I'm only worried that his will be better than my bachelorette party.. and he shouldn't have more fun than me Smiley winking
@Glenn- just saw your post lol.. great minds, eh?

I actually am legitimately concerned about this.. I always hang out with the guys and they always have so much fun! I love my girls, I do, but there's always soooo much drrraaammmmmaaa.. plus, I really enjoy being with FH more than anybody so any time away from him, especially involving drinking, isn't much fun. Who's back am I going to hang on and face am I going to kiss if I am to be a married woman? and let me tell you, I like kissing when drinking! (she says with a glass of wine to her left)

Glenn... don't forget to pre-wrip the elastic on your boxers... it will hurt less when they tear them off from under your jeans. Pin a sock to the inside of your pants, or have a 2nd pair of boxers to put on. Have fun!!!!!

Oh I have no doubt they wont be as hot as her but still want hot strippers not ugly ones. At my first bachelor party (8 years ago) the stripper was not hot, late 30s and talked about her kid the whole time. Total buzz kill.

Chelsea- Then if you both feel strongly you do not want strippers involved then I suggest both of you telling your friends and BP that you do NOT want a stripper. Sometimes guys feel obligated to hiring one for their buddies or they just want to use it as an excuse to.

If it makes you uncomfortable all you can do is tell him and assume he will take your feelings into account.

This was one of many talks we had when we first started dating. Neither of us watch porn or like strip clubs. I have seen both break apart relationships and it was our personal choice to exclude both of those activites from our relationship.

Its different for every couple, the important thing is that it shouldn't be something you have to worry about when your getting married. Just make sure your both on the same page so no feelings get hurt. Worry water does not make the Love tree grow!

    Thanks Magination!

I know my BMs will listen when i say i want no stripper and will leave the room if there is one, and i'm sure if my FH is really serious with his GMs they'll listen to him to.

If I were marrying me I'd get sloppy drunk the night before..lol..j/k. Idk if he plans on a bachelor party for sure, but I do know you should have your bachelorette party the week before the wedding. Drunk accidents happen, nails get chipped and acne happens when you pass out without taking off your makeup. If his head gets shaved it'll give it time to begin to at least have a shadow and let the sharpie wear off.

Strippers happen, it's part of it whether we as the FWs like it or not. Hopefully he won't get one but I know damn well if my FH goes with his friends there will be a strip club involved for sure. It sucks and I hate it, but it's their right of passage. Hopefully his love for me will over take his lust for them.
