Anyone feel the need to buy new clothes for their honeymoon?

Krista, on March 15, 2012 at 2:45 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 33

I just feel like since it is the start of our new life together i want some new clothes for the honeymoon. I want new shorts, some cute little tops, some new summer dresses, and of course new bathing suits. Anyone else buying new outfits?

Would love to--but my BFF is having a baby in August, so she will probably let me borrow a ton of stuff. Her clothes are WAY better than mine!!! LOL. I did buy one smoking hot dress for the honeymoon for a fancy night out though. I probably won't buy anything else.

Yes! I'm so ready to go shopping! We're going to Vegas and the average temp in May is around 80, so I really need some shorts and summer dresses. OOOoooo! Moms! My birthday is coming and my mom asked me what I wanted. I think I just figured it out! A day of shopping!

I am going to buy one outfit. Just one. I have a lot of nice summer things already and that's just more money I don't need to spend

I wish. But a new wardrobe is out of the question. I cannot afford it. I will probably get maybe 1 or 2 new things but not much.

FH and I both plan on gong shopping. We are going to Jamaica, so shorts, summery dresses (for me) and tank tops are going to be a must. I would also like one or two (or three!) new bathing suits. We plan to get wedding stuff paid off first and then shop for the honeymoon.

Nope, I had a ton of clothes already..although I was sure to use a headband of the wedding I could wear with other outfits..and I did have a light blue tank top that said I do that I wore..also I wore an ivory silk flower in my hair..i just brought a few beach dresses , and already owned several bikinis (like 6!)..I wish I would have but after paying the wedding didn't feel like spending more right after. Also thought I did buy a tank top, sweatshirt, and two shorts in clearwater, I wanted to be sure I got clothing so I could wear waaaay after the honeymoon for years to come! so don't forget that! :-)

Like Pumpkin's sunshine, I feel that way before every vacation too. Since we take a lot of photos I like to look and feel "fresh"

Oh hell yes! While I have a huge tropical wardrobe, I get a good feeling about getting new stuff for each trip we take. For the honeymoon, it was especially important. I didn't buy new suits because I have 10, but I bought new sandals and lingerie.

I'm slowly squirilling stuff into and hiding it in my closet I figure if I buy one new peice each month and hide it from myself till the honeymoon I'll have a whole new wardrobe...I think I may have gone off the deep end with this one but I want to have some special things that FH has never seen before and the only way I'm going to be able to afford that is my squiril routine

Anytime I go to the beach, I want new sandals and a new swimsuit coverup and a new maxi dress. Every single time!

I want to! I'm so broke. Plus I should probably just wait till we get where were going because I always end up packing too much and not having much room for souvenirs!
